This is my second one-star review Ive ever made, second to my award winning review for a Bojangles in Crossville, Tennessee. As you can tell by my one star, this place is garbage. We walked in thinking "this sit down Sonic is going to be amazing!", as we do not have one in our hometown. Little did we know, this was a big and terrible mistake. The cashier obviously had no clue how to do her job as she twirled her fingers looking for my drink order for what seemed like 2 minutes, because it was. Then after my order we noticed a half priced cheeseburgers ad which we were not informed of. When brought to the attention of the cashier, she seemed attacked and rudely told us that "they were for single patty burgers only". Then I waited a literal 25 minutes to get my food, some of our group still hasnt received their order, which has been skipped by the order callers. Ive yet to bite into my burger as Im afraid of what could be in store. Is it a burger? Is it a chicken patty? Is it even in there? Tune in next time for the answer. Update: My food was subpar for the sole purpose of the extent of hunger. My step brother still hasnt received his order, something he ordered 40 minutes ago. Update to the update: He got his food. He is a happy boy. Update to the update to the update: Another person from my group (who ordered tots) got half tots half fries. Which I dont see a problem in but she seemed pretty pissed so it was worth noting.

Sonic is amazing and this is the only location within the city of Chicago that I know of. I grew up in Kansas City where there are Sonics everywhere. When I moved to Chicago 5 yrs ago I couldnt believe there was no Sonic within the city limits. I remember taking many trips out to Elk Grove, which was the closest location, whenever I craved a slushie. This was not a fun trip coming from Lincoln Park. Although this location is in a sketchy part of Uptown, I am glad its here. Walking over from the Wilson red line station and battling the sketcy/crazy people isnt so bad if you go with a buddy and ignore anybody that approaches you. Its a shame that they didn"t choose a better spot to build because it could be doing so much better in a better neighborhood. This location has car stall to order from, a 2 lane drive-through and a eat in dining room

Unfortunately the Sonic is located in the area where the people just dont care the people working there are unprofessional and also they dont want to refund your money even they mess up your order do not go there do not waste your time if you go to Sonic make sure its in the suburbs not it will send Broadway you get what you pay for the location unfortunately its not the same the only difference I can really see and I hate to say this being a black man myself is that their bunch of blacks working there which is always a red flag service is just not their Forte

First time here. The only reason im even giving it 1 star is because the food was really good. The service was terrible. Staff sooooo slow. No one was cashiering had to wait 10 minutes..even though i rung the bell. Staff does not greet you & screws up the order & my change! I would rather travel to the suburbs the next time i want sonic food. Here is a tip sonic hire employees that want to work!!!!!

I love sonics all-day breakfast burritos and the cherry limeades are so tasty. I hate THIS Sonic because the service is terrible. The staff are rude, slow, and lazy. Ive suffered through multiple visits over and over hoping it would be better the next time...it doesnt get better. If you dont care about speed or service and you love Sonic too much to eat somewhere else, eat here.

So bad it stopped being funny. The cheese fries barely filled the bottom of the already small container and the cheese was hardened like it had been sitting without best for quite some time. The burger looked a lot better however it was sub mc Donalds quality meat and the bacon was so crispy I thought I chipped a tooth at one point.

These workers are very unprofessional it was so unreal.They had junkies hanging in there lobby and the guy who served us looked as high as a kite his name according to the reciept was tray.I wasnt even ordering Im a uber driver who was picking up a delievery and I now understand why the person didnt come get it themselves.Smh

This place does seem a little weird. First time at a Sonic so i dont know how to compare it to anything else. I just went in for the 5 hamburgers for $5.95 which sounds like a good deal. The hamburgers are good but people do seem unprofessional there. SO I give it a 3 out 5 just because I liked the hamburgers....

Always disorganized, always waiting forever, employees couldnt care less about customers or their jobs. Food comes out wrong or cold. Tried going back several times thinking it would be better but it never is so my friends and I go next door to McDonalds and get our orders correct and spend way less.

if i didnt like french toast i would NEVER COME BACK... the service is so bad. The girl (cashier) is such a diva that you get worried might be bothering her. she speak to herself and wears the head set so is she speaking to you are the drive thru... the she gives you "THE LOOK" like WHAT YOU WANT

Worst experience Ive ever had at a fast food establishment, the manager that has red hair was really rude to many customers and their food isnt really worth the trip, wish I could have enjoyed my first experience here but I walked in with my hopes to high I guess.. really not worth the commute

Service is horrible on multiple occasions. Last time I was there the employees taking orders left in a car for 5-10 minutes and came back while we just sat and waited. Then they parked right next to us in the drive in and left their car their so they would have less customers on a busy night.

Drive over 20 miles for Horrible service! Besides the long wait, Mashauna is so rude and has a bad attitude! We were told we need to wait while she took an order of people who arrived after us then waited over 20 mins for 3 blasts! AND THEY WERE MELTING! We will never come back here!!

Worst sonic I have ever been to. Waited 15 mins at the front counter at 3 pm in the afternoon before any one of the thirty employees in the back took notice and came to the front, and when they did they were rude as hell. So much so I decided 7 eleven slurpees were a better choice.

This is the only Sonic Ive been to, so I cant compare it to other ones. But compared to other fast food places, this one is very good. Great food, big menu, good value. The service can be a little slow, and there isnt much room for sitting, but other than that I like it a lot.

I like Sonic. However, on most occasions, the employees here serve on the negative side. They seem negative, without care, and as if they hate to work here. I understand the occasional bad day, but as a Sonic employee, happiness is a must. Management needs to get it together.
