I rarely review any places I go to. In the last few weeks, Im beginning to change my mind and write my opinions out there. On April 28th, 2017 my girlfriend and I stopped by for some fried pickles and wings. It was quite busy and the Bulls game was on so a little bit of a wait time. 30 minutes of standing and waiting, we decided to take the food home. Ordered, paid and waited another 30-40 minutes. I asked Ashley (register) why is it that weve been waiting for so long, and people who were in line AFTER us got their food first (4 to be exact - and no, we waited close by and heard them ordering and paying right then and there), and were still waiting? Her response: "they ordered online and theyre picking up" without looking at me, with a snarky attitude and walked away. Couple minutes later, my name gets called out, with food getting slammed on the counter and her walking away again. Once we got home, food was cold - almost as if it was sitting there in the boxes this whole time. Did you ever try to reheat friend pickles? Unfortunately had to throw them out. The only thing Id like the owner to get from this review is this: please exercise proper customer service training on your employees, or at least tell them to pretend and be as nice as they can be. Brianna, who was hosting, was a doll and very nice, apologetic for the wait time, and kept asking if there was anything we needed. Thats excellent customer service. Ashley could learn a lot from her.

Im rating 3 stars which I believe is generous to say the least. When I go out to eat (even at Hooters) I expect hospitality which I didnt feel very welcome. We got seated, fine. I asked my server ( Ivy ) if there were any specials, she looked at me like I was being cheap and said "oh yes, we just dont put the menus out, hold on". The specials were very limited. We then ordered some beers, I received my blue moon with a nasty dried orange I immediately set aside. The food was good, love the tater tot appetizer but did not get any jalapenos as advertised. When it was time to get the check Ivy has asked that we help her clear the table since they didnt have any bussers on shift. Really?? If I wanted to clean up after myself I would have cooked at home. I still tipped well and I shouldnt have. All in all, good food, terrible service. Im sure they do better during busier shifts.

I was visiting the Chicago area for the weekend and staying at hotel nearby. I was looking for a bite to eat within walking distance and maybe a beer. I sat at the bar by myself ordered 10 boneless wings, an order of onion rings, and two Angry Orchards. The food was perfect and I actually enjoyed this Hooters location. The beer was ice cold (which is always a plus in my book!) Its different then most Hooters locations in my hometown. I actually like the "sports bar/dinner feel." My only complaint is the bar tender was busy so it took her a little longer then normal for her to make her rounds. However she was nice and polite so it wasnt a big deal to me.

While the manager was apologetic for poorer service this is definitely my WORST HOOTERS experience. Slow slow slow service. Food order incorrect. Waitress moved too fast in taking our order which may have caused mistakes - brought drinks out too early, Shrimp was in sauce vs being "naked" with sauce on the side, original style hooters wings werent the standard. The breading or something is a different consistency so the chicken is over fried and got cold quickly. Fires were too soft - just barely done. Lots of tots were good. Again, the manager was nice at the end and took off an app and the drinks, but I wont be back

I can not emphasize my discouragement for this restaurant! Stay out of this place, but if you have to go, bring a book or something to keep you busy. The food is mediocre chicken was dry sauce was weak, the decor is dated like early 90s dated (That Lex Luger photo is really not impressive in 2014), the service was atrocious ( the group I was with waited over an hour for food, appetizers came out with the entrees). Ultimately this "lunch" couldve doubled as a poor dinner. Hopefully this review will change the experience for others, but I will not be returning. Especially with the amount of decent restaurants in the area.

My family and I have been coming to the Hooters (OHare) for several years. Today was the worse experience we have had in years due to there being a lack of communication. Usually, the cook wouldve alerted the service staff that the food was ready but did not. Our food sat on the bar for several minutes which made some of it cold. My wife would do a better job at being the manager at this location by staying on top of the staff. Today is the last visit for us being there for years.

Order completely screwed up. Ordered cheeseburger with bacon and nothing else. Got a bacon cheeseburger with everything. Also ordered fries with the burger, didnt get any. Ordered buffalo chicken sandwich which is supposed to have buffalo sauce. Chicken was dry with no sauce. We called to complain and they said the sauce is a butter sauce baked in. What?! They refused to give us refund or give us correct food. Never again. Very rude

Their Buffalo Breast Chicken sandwich is the best. XXX sause is truly AWESOME!!! Their Burgers are excellent as well. I have been to every Hooters in Chicago and in the Chicagoland area. While at times the menu may differ, the people are polite and great. Also been to Hooters Vegas and in Wisconsin. Again the staff at every location I have been to is professional and pleasant to be with. Always smiling, well mannered.

Usually I dont mind or comment on reviews but after waiting for a good 30+ mins for my order which I had to request to be remade I guess I can take the time to type this up. I had requested for 9-1-1 sauce but let me thank the guy at in the sauce station for adding an additional sauce after the 9-1-1 and make making my REMADE order uneatable .. Also awesome costumer service! If I want to serve myself

I placed a call in order (4 orders in total) and when I arrived for pickup (I arrived at least 20 mins after they stated my order would be ready) I was missing an order and had to wait an additional 20 mins. Got back to my office to enjoy my food and I think they forgot to add the sauce on my wings because they were not hot at all, taste wasnt what I remembered.

Its an average chain. The wings are decently sized for the price. The atmosphere is fun. The girls are pretty. I imagine itd be a good place to watch a sports game. The food is good. The service is good. The hot wings arent as spicy as they used to be though. Disappointed in the recipe change. And the wings used to be a bit larger. Nothing exceptional.

the wings were not quite as i remembered. we had the chipotle garlic this time, which were too sweet. I would stick w/ the the original flavors of hot or medium. maybe throw in a set of naked wings to offset all the heaviness of the breading. i was intrigued by the new turkey burger on the menu, but didnt get a chance to give it a try...
