A star for the disappointment for their service. Im pinoy and I brought my American man to a pinoy restaurant in order for him to experience pinoy food and how friendly and hospitable pinoys are. But to our disappointment, the middled-aged pinay hostess wasnt that friendly. I asked her kumusta po?, but she didnt replied. She just escorted us to our table and didnt even bothered asking us what do we want to drink (and take note, there were no customers but us that time). I heard the other staff in the kitchen area speaking tagalog so when one of them approached us and asked what do we want to drink I immediately answered back in tagalog. And to my dismay he answered me back in English! What a hypocrite! It happened twice (smdh). The food was okay. The palabok (plain) and pansit were tasteless. My man even put soy sauce just so he can eat them. The halo-halo wasnt that great and its expensive (the bananas were so hard). The waiter didnt even bothered asking us why we didnt finished our food. And to wrap this up, the middle-aged pinay hostess didnt bothered talking to us as we walked to the door. We drove 220mi hoping to eat good food and meet fellow pinoys but instead we were greeted with very lousy service. I. Do. Not. Recommend.

I remember when this place was actually an arcade which was rebuilt (somewhat poorly) into an all you can eat Filipino buffet. Ive been here many times and sometimes I ask myself why I keep coming here? Is it because Im hungry for "home cooking" Filipino food? Is it because theres nothing else to eat around the area and I want to give into my cravings? Who knows. But every time I come here its the same food being served, some of which do not look fresh . I wonder if they just reheat what they dont go through each day? The same crispy pata, Philippine "fried rice", lumpia shanghai, and lechon on the weekends, etc. Come on, theres other Philippine foods that they can attempt to make (and update their classic foods too). The environment in the restaurant feels the same each visit as well, feeling sticky from the grease and just unclean. The flooring feels the same way too and is a slip zone especially in the winter time. You know, I appreciate them keeping to tradition. But they really have to find a way to update to modern times. Plus, the feeling of feeling like grease just by spending time there doesnt help either. But they are the standard bearer of Philippine cuisine and standards need to be updated.

My wife, two kids and I came here for the first time. Warning: Filipino food is among the unhealthiest in the world. Perfect recipe for heart failure, cancer or diabetes. I personally dont eat 95% of the cuisine on a regular basis. So we came only because we were craving for food from the old country. The food was so-so. My wife and I made this observation: when we got there, the lechon (roasted pig) was almost gone except for the fattiest parts. I struggled to find anything left that was lean. The staff saw me doing this. I concluded they werent replenishing what was there for me and the mostly (99%) Filipino guests that night. Then came 6 guests, 5 of whom were WHITE. The staff immediately brought a fresh supply of lechon. Common Filipino reverse racism. Treat your fellow countrymen like crap but treat others, especially white people, like deity. My wife and I agreed we will steer clear of this place.

I had to go here because I heart all things pork and all things pulled out of a deep fryer. This place wasnt everything I thought it would be. Walking in, the first thing I noticed was that this place was in a time warp, then I saw the pigs head sitting there and I was ready to attack that buffet line. The lechon is sub-par and the crispy pata was just fried way too hard. I was worried I might break a tooth trying to chew through it all. Overall, I felt everything was much greasier than it should have been. I wouldnt go out of my way to make a return visit.

There was clump of hair fried into the fried chicken. We told the waittess when she came to get the plates and said sorry. The service was not good at all, no one even asked us if we wanted anything to drink while there were 4 servers available. When we went to pay one of the servers actually had to after my husband to give him the receipt. We honestly had to figure out how it all worked. The man ringing us out said sorry for the hair and gave a 10% Discount, basically the tax. We will not be going back there and not recommending the place either.

Great place to eat filipino dishes and get to know filipino cuisine, as I introduced to my wife. The buffet is the best deal. Also, the bopis is amazing!! However, when I leave from the buffet I feel like eh, its okay. No real complaints just that once when I ordered 2 dishes, the owner only gave me one order of rice. He said its one per order, not like one per dish order.

There is a great selection in the buffet. At less than $10, cant complain. A great variety of appetizers was also served. Good service and delicious food. If youre after quality and quantity at a reasonable price, this is the filipino restaurant for you. I took two white friends last night 11/5/2008 and they vouch for this place. everyone came out smiling....

Visited this place twice. Drive all the way to Michigan. Just to taste Filipino dishes. But why you visit the place if you can cook it on your own? Right! Just because its a filipino dish and filipinos love to eat and compare the taste. Selection of food is good. Pinakbet to crispy pata. Its worth the price. Ambience is okay. Staff are very friendly.

I like this place. I have never been to a Filipino Buffet. I was suprised that they had all the popular dishes of filipino cuisine. The decor was also in line with what you would like in a Filipino restaurant. The desserts are filipino desserts, which have never been to my liking. However, my wife liked what she tried. My daughter did not.

Horrible experience. I went here with a group and everyone was excessively charged $20 a person for poorly prepared buffet cuisine and rude service. aking tita found a hair in her halo-halo and she didnt even get an apology from the waiter. He just ignore her. The place is also filthy. I would not recommend this place to my worse enemy.

Filthy place. Terrible food. Lousy service. My family from out of town wanted to try it. We shouldve just went to the Vietnamese restaurant right next door. This is a glaring reminder why one cant be proud of being Pinoy all the time. Its a real damn shame there isnt one decent Filipino Restaurant in the whole American Midwest.

Food is okay. Nothing to get excited about, but if you want Filipino food, its slim pickings. Its a buffet, the food sits out for long periods of time without getting changed. Its not uncommon for the steam table to be set to a low/unsafe temp to keep the food from drying out faster. Not my first pick for Filipino food.
