My wife and I were married in this restaurant. Minh, the owner, is a warm and friendly person who takes great pride in her work. The food was fantastic. We had a buffet of Lemongrass Pork/Chicken/Shrimp Bun, Lemongrass Pork Banh mi, crispy pork spring rolls, fried tofu, and spicy sweet basil chicken. To our surprise, she made a variety of fruit smoothies for our guests and made edible centerpieces for our tables. Really, we cannot say enough good things about Minh and her restaurant. Half of our guests had never eaten Vietnamese before, and at the end of the night we had no leftovers. We could not have been happier with the food and the attention Minh and her team brought to our wedding. They were constantly on the ball in terms of refreshing the drinks and making sure the buffet was in order with everything our guests required. Minh was very attentive and considerate, she made sure the entire evening went smoothly and was packing to-go bags for our guests as they left. The restaurant, itself, is beautiful brick and exposed wood beams that provides a great atmosphere for any event. All of our guests couldnt say enough good things about their experience there with the food and venue. We are looking forward to many anniversary celebrations at King Pho, and would really like to express our gratitude towards Minh and her staff. The food was among the best weve eaten and she made our wedding as special as we could have asked for.

Since moving in to my new appartment here in Edgebrook I havent had time to cook for myself and my wife and I have needed to order takeout on many nights. After trying the restaurants in the area this has quickly become our favorite one to order from. We typically order either the lemongrass pork or the sesame beef bahn mi sandwiches. They always come out great and are cheaper than any other takeout in the are ($5 for a good size sandwich and fries!) Its not the highest quality/fanciest food but for the price its a terrific deal. Id go here over a place like subway any day.

We were not greeted at door, it was not even busy but still had to wait for 10 minutes to sit down, they were clearly understaffed and enjoying every penny they saved this way. Then a table who sat AFTER us received their menus first. We had to take our order up to the waiter. 20 minutes later no appetizer. I thought for sure they were going to bring the appetizer with the meal and I was getting ready to send it back, but sure enough another table who sat after us received the same appetizer first. I was too disappointed to eat Ill take my business elsewhere.

Good foods but terrible customer services. I was there recently, and have to wait 20 mins before they bring out my pho. I talked to the manager over the phone and she is ok with losing one customer for their bad serviced. I usually eat there 2 times a week and have recommend many friends and coworkers to try the Vietnamese cuisines at King Pho. Since I was treated poorly I will never recommend this restaurant again.

Lovely place! I needed some good food after going to "Go Bananas" for my nephews birthday party. I did a quick Google search and read some reviews. Its just as good (if not better) than my favorite place Vietnamese restaurant in St. Louis. I got carry out but noticed a nice decor and layout. Great service and great Bun dish #31. Good portion and flavor at a good price.

My SO and I went around 5 on Friday. It wasnt busy, which I liked. The venue is spacious, but the vibe of the place felt cozy and homey. The menu has a lot of items to try. The portions are generous and so very yummy. I would definitely visit again and try new things. This is definitely going to be one of my go-to restaurants for soup.

I love King Pho! I always struggle with not inverting the order of King and Pho! Their pho is amazing! The best Ive had in the city. They have a long menu of choices but their Pho is the reason go there. I see couples on dates and big families there. I love the busy atmosphere. The service is always great. They do get really busy.

Took my date as a treat cause he was never there. Beef dish(not pho) he ordered was not edible. Told waiter who did nothing. Manager & waiter standing at register for payment offered no explanation. Should have not paid bill or not for my dates meal......will never go back!!!

We have been coming here for few years, during this past year the food seem to be sliding down a little. On our last few visits, Pho has noticeable less meats, they are sliced thin like cold cuts, noodles been cut way back too. We feel like we are getting $5 worth of food

Has quickly become my favorite spot for Pho in the city (I know, just barely, on the outskirts in Edgebrook). A tasty array of appetizers and friendly service to accompany the delicious giant bowl of Pho. Lesser known and a bit out of the way for some, but worth a trip.

Was in the area from MN. I ordered BBH, husband ordered Pho combo, daughter got kids meal (rice, eggs and Chinese sausage) -her meal was probably the best tasting at the table. Each of our soup broths lacked flavor. Staff was kind.

A nice place for a bowl of Pho. They do not skimp on the ingredients and do allow for substitutions. They are very reasonably priced. Parking can be a little tight sometimes but you never have to go too far away to park.

A good place to eat Vietnamese photo in Chicago. We had pho and hu tieu dac biet. Big bowl of noodles. There are only two sides regular and larger. We ordered larger and they were too big, lol.

Awesome friendly staff! I have celiac and its great to see gluten free labels on the menu and have a knowledge staff to ask questions to. Not to mention the chicken broth in the pho is incredible!

The beef pho with brisket was delicious with a simple and rich flavor. The fried tofu appetizer was great. The tofu was perfectly crisp on the outside while being soft and gooey on the inside.

The pho is amazing- flavorful broth, tender meat, wonderful tender noodles. Service was amazingly prompt, the tighty was rich and earthy, and the best part was the bill was quite reasonable.
