Fresh Indian "fast" food, reminiscent of the format of chipotle with the toppings on the line. You can choose from spongy paneer, juicy chicken, lamb or chickpeas for your protein, then wrap it in a Kati roll (a big roti like wrap), pop it in a rice bowl or make a salad. There are several sauce choices from the minty green chutney, to spicy tikka. Theres flavorful masala fries with cilantro mayo as a side, basmati rice or (yum) buttery dal. It was fresh and affordable for sure. The owners were super friendly as was the staff. Love it!

A fantastic Indian fusion joint that deserves a pat for its loyal customer service and soulful food preparation. Their chefs are so friendly and interact with customers very well to ensure every detail of a customers need is addressed. Have tried their Rice bowls, Kati rolls, Samosa and Masala Veg burger and their best is the Masala burger. Not to forget about their free tea that comes with every meal. Thanks to the restaurant owners for introducing authentic Kaati rolls to Chicagoans.

I love checking out Indian restaurants when I travel, so I was excited to sample Hakka Bakka Kati Rolls. We tried the chicken tikka masala and the Chana dal, and both were excellent, served piping hot and rather more spicy than one might expect from a mall good court! And best of all, two tandoor ovens that delivered awesome nan. This place is awesome!

The owner and staff were all really friendly! The owner was very welcoming and we got into a great conversation with him. We got the Chicken Kati Roll and the Lamb Kati Roll and they both were very delicious and flavorful. In addition, the lentil soup we had was quite savory too. Definitely coming back in the future!

Hakka Bakka is a part of the fooda in-office system my employer uses. I look forward to their visits - the food is fresh and not over-seasoned, they have awesome and filling meatless options that they really put time into, and their staff is the friendliest Ive ever met through fooda.

Amazing indian food with a creative twist. The rolls are good but the veggie burger is out of this world! Being a vegetarian, I have searched far and wide for a good veggie burger - this place easily beats them all. The staff is very friendly and its a nice looking spot.

Whoa. Is this supposed to be a fast food joint? How in the world are they doing food thats inexpensive, vegetarian, and hella delicious? I just had the best meal Ive had in weeks. Still kind of in awe.

Loved this cozy little place! The rolls/wraps were prepared with fresh ingredients and the fresh veggies were the best part. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Plenty of street parking outside.

Welcome addition to the neighborhood. Tried the Lamb Tikki Roll, it was excellent -- wonderful combo of spices/flavors and a generous portion. Staff is enthusiastic and friendly. Will be back.

I must admit that it is americanized version of Kolkata rolls, but given the flexibility offered, I totally asked only for ingredients and sauces which made it quite authentic.
