I had been to this place many times, and loved the food each time.. I read few reviews on here and yelp and found those completely off the mark. I am someone who eats out 5 or more of the 7 days in a week.. and more than half those time, I eat Indian or Thai - so I know fairly well to distinguish between a fresh food and microwaved one.. To most ppl who complain abt the food being late (dont know abt the delivery part - I am talking strictly in terms of in-restaurant service) - yes I agree with you, it will be slightly longer wait than you would expect - but in my opinion, the freshness and the taste of the food is worth all the wait [period]. Alongside my head and tastebuds that rated a 5-star here, if you were to ask my tummy, it would give a 5-star rating too.. If you are in a hurry, or dont care about the quality of the food - pls go to a fast food joint or some restaurants in Devon st - where you will get a good daily dose of your junk food. The owners and waitress are so very friendly and they deserve nothing but a first class in service. The atmosphere is so relaxing, with a FREE WI-FI - so be sure to carry your laptop or a bottle of wine - and get ready for a relaxing dinner with a mild music playing in the back-ground. I love this place, and will certainly recommend to anyone who loves good, fresh & authentic Indian / Thai cuisine.

Had a wonderful meal of Chicken Biryani with some Garlic Naan and Veggie Mullagatwany soup as a starter. Roommates and I each got different Indian dishes and were thoroughly impressed with everything we ordered. With us being just a bit too far away from Devon but close to this place, sometimes you want Indian food without trekking all the way up there in the cold. Small seating area, but cozy. My roommates and myself were the only people in the place at 7:30 p.m. on Friday night, but there was a constant stream of carryout/UberEats-type online orders coming in while we dined. The owner waited on us and explained that the only people cooking in the kitchen were his wife and two helpers. I was amazed that three people could run their kitchen so well without the wheels coming off. To sum up, I will definitely be back to try some other dishes soon. A worthwhile visit if you dont feel like making it up to Devon, and a good value as well.

I was telling my friend yesterday that if I were to move from Chicago this would easily be one of the top 5 restaurants Id miss the most. This is easily the best Indian restaurant Ive been to. The food is amazing, the service is incredible and super friendly (seriously, eat there in person instead of take out if you have the time). Ive never had a bad experience here and I go at least a few times a month. My favorite thing to do is go there with one other person, order palak paneer (which is my favorite there and everyone Ive gone with agrees - even my friend who is from India and is very picky about Indian food in Chicago loves their palak paneer), lamb biryani, and an order or two of paratha. We get it extra spicy but Ive had it without changing the spice level as well, and its just as flavorful. Order some masala chai and some kheer for dessert and its truly delightful.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. The food too over an hour and a half and they only delivered it after I called to complain. They then delivered it to the wrong address even after confirming the location. Then, the order was wrong (no peanut sauce for the satay, forgot a salad), the indian selections were mealy and cold. The pad thai has absolutely no flavor and was also cold. NEVER ORDER HERE EVER. Worst experience I have ever had with any restaurant in my life.

I ordered chicken tikka masala, to go. The guy was friendly and my food was prepared promptly. The rice was good. Im not a chicken tikka masala professional, but I know what I like. In my experience, its a little sweet. This dish was all spice, no sweetness. I did not really enjoy it. The consistency was good and the chicken was good, but the taste of the sauce wasnt.

Ordered the chicken pakora and it was where is the chicken. It was 90% pakora flour. The Garlic nan bread was tighter than a Nuns Nickers. The Lamb vindaloo tasted like lamb Sircha sauce although there was plenty of lamb. Tried this place twice now and its two strikes and not going to be three.

This place has the worst customer service of all time. Its the middle of the day and they cant deliver a meal in an hour. Let alone their incompetent driver gets here cant use a doorbell and walks away. I would never recommend the place to even an associate.

The chicken and beef shawarma were horrible! The beef and chicken tasted like I was eating dirt and I could not even chew the beef. The rice was missing flavor. AND to top it off the pita was hard as a rock!! Im Never ordering from this place ever again!!!!

I went here for date night. Had a very informed waitress, food was excellent. I am Indian and this is some of the most authentic Indian food Ive ever had. The Thai menu is also very extensive and I was able to enjoy both halves of the menu.

Absolutely horrible. Food hadnt come for over 2 hours and our tolerance level is reached. Needs to work on their delivery services and not leave customers waiting...lost loyalty.

Highly recommend. Husband-wife duo, both incredibly nice. Food was great, portions were large (biggest samosas Ive ever had), and prices reasonable.

Chicken pakora is a sad excuse for fried flour, some of the the worst I have had. The gentleman was nice and welcoming, but the food doesnt keep up.

This is my go-to place for shawarma and lobster-bisque. The curry and masala dishes are delicious, too! Naan servings are nice and big.
