Part 2 While I have, again, spent hundreds of dollars at this establishment (the goods are very good when done correctly), the staff can be quite rude over the telephone when ordering. I specifically requested fresh cakes (since they were going to be gifts to several people) and received a cake obviously from the freezer since the icing was rock hard! I even offered to pay extra. What more can a customer do. Ill still give it two stars. Would love to give it five but...I just cant! I hope she begins to value her customers as I still wish her well.

Good treats! But, the prices are a bit steep for what you get. Key lime and lemon bars occasionally tastes freezer burned or like old funky refrigerator. There are usually broken and oftentimes burnt cookies on display. I understand not throwing money away, but really? I tried lunch 1 time and paid nearly $10 for a to-go meal including 2 slices of thick bread, 1 slice of thin turkey, a snack bag of chips and a bottle of water. No mayo, mustard, tomato, lettuce, pickle, onion or black pepper packet. Quality control where are you?

I love the feel of this place! In the dining area I feel like I walked into someones welcoming home. Lots of thoughtful attention to ambiance, even the music in the background was soft and welcoming. I came here to read & eat soThe lamp on my table was a lovely touch! I cant give it 4 stars yet because I just placed my order & havent tasted the food yet... So the 4 stars are for ambiance & service, so far...

When this bakery first opened their doors, everything was tasty and then they began short cuts on their baked goods, the prices went up dramatically and they dont believe in giving receipts. They often sell people day old pastries,cookies and cakes as though it was cooked today at the same price.

Had a few items that were great and will be back to try more 1. Big Chocolate chip cookie: just right 2. Caramel cupcake: tasty and adorned with cute swirls of frosting. Also the bakery is Clean and decorated with a stove circa 1920.

I love this little bakery!! The peach cobbler is to die for!! It is a local African American business that is thriving for a reason. It is a very quaint and cozy place to have a cup of coffee, and enjoy the local scene!
