Worst food...we ordered Veg Makhani and Romali Roti...Veg Makhani had not any taste, we tried to put extra lemon and salt to make some taste but it was pathetic my wife started feeling like vomiting after having food, service was also not good when I complained about the taste, attendent told me that he already warned (before ordering food he told me that curry color will be red but he didnt mention anything about taste), if you are making anything bad then why you have that dish in your Menu...I dont have option to give lesser rating hence giving 1 star.

From the name I assumed it to be an Indian restaurant but it is a Pakistani restaurant. We ordered Fish for my dad and vegetarian food for rest of us that included dal fry, palak panner and vegetable biryani also 4 rotis. The portion size were huge, the service good and cleanliness okay. Though my Dad enjoyed his fish but the vegetarian food was unpalatable. We left almost all that we ordered. Maybe good for non vegetarian food but definitely a NO for vegetarian food. My one star rating is based on the vegetarian food we had.

I love the people that are complaining about the food. First of all, DD is a hole in the wall, greasy food, that stick to the ribs, not a 5 start restaurant. If you 5 star treatment, here is an idea take you a** to a 5 star place. I have been going to this place for over 10 years and never had an issue, yes depending on the cook i might get food that is a little of but again not a 5 star place!! If you think that your negative reviews are gonna effect chachu business, you are nuts!!

I dont know why people are giving bad reviews about this place. One person even wrote their food is worst DAY or NIGHT. Really ?? Let me tell you one thing. This restaurant is NOT open in the day time. This place has the best NON VEG on the whole DEVON STREET in Chicago. I am from Milwaukee and I have traveled many times to eat here. I believe my statement says it all. Decor is alright not the best but i dont care about that as long as I am getting for what I am paying.

We were able to see blood in Seekh Kabob. This person is rude and tries to enforce you to order what he likes. Food was old and it had meat smell. I dont like writing bad reviews but their service made me so. They overcharged my credit card. When I was looking the receipt, he gave me free candy to draw away my attention. Because of his tactics, I wasnt able to look the receipt. Need to improve service to win my business for next time.

GREAT FOOD!!! GREAT HOSPITALITY!!! We have been eating here for several years and the restaurant is one of the favorites of my family. Food is always fresh and very authentic, They have awesome lamb chops, chapli, bihari, too many to name, and the best parathas. Good Luck and I hope that you prosper.

I came to chicago for a wedding. I was told this is the best place on devon to get traditional pakistani and indian food. I have to say i could not agree more. I loved the food, the spices, the service,ect. I will defenity be visiting this place everytime i travel to chicago.

Best food!! My all time fav. Staff is friendly and make u feel at home. Their food is fresh and full of flavor. Very authentic. They are so unique and are truly one of a kind. They host lots of private events for special occasions. I could literally eat here EVERYDAY!!!

This is a hole in the wall... and is an awesome one. The Beef Boti comes on a sizzling platter and is ridiculously good! And the Paratha is killer. Yah, dont use the bathroom... its gross. But, seriously, food is killer.

The food here is great and portions are large. I have eaten at a large percentage of Indian/Pakistani restaurants in a Chicago, and this one is definitely to of the list. Their paratha and naan are the best Ive ever had!
