The cost of some of the food items is reasonable and not that expensive. Also its open throughout the day, so you can go and order any time. As the cost is bit low, one food item wont be sufficient for filling you up so need to order at least 2. Masala Dosa is good as the bhajji inside the dosa is excellent. Pros- Not expensive Near to Des Plaines which doesnt have many indian places Gives one more option for Indian food as there is just one good indian restaurant around Pav Bhaji is also good. Go for an extra pav as 2 won’t be enough to fill u up … also bhaji served is more You get Vada Pav, Dabeli, Sev Usal, Utthapum etc Cons- Sometimes Samosa, Vada Pav are not good, as it appears these are pre-cooked and just heated before serving rather than making/cooking them freshly. - Avoid it No Credit Card machine (they accept credit cards for over 10$ however they utilize a neighbouring indian grocerry shops credit card machine for which they take your card to that shop and bring it back) They serve thali however there are no options for vegetable curries .i.e. the vegetable curry items can’t be chosen.

I dont understand why this place is still in business. This people dont know how to cook, food is so horrible that I would rather go hungry. My daughter And I order DABELY sandwich and the sandwich was made from boil potato chopped hot papers salt and catchup and they even didnt mashed the potatoes, they were chunky and some of them still have skin on. Then I had idly sambar. Idly were made as GUJARATI khichoo (or they call papadino lot) and the sambar was made from leftover homemade daal and some vegetables and it was so spicy and little salty. And one of the server is a big time nose digger and serve the food with same hands. STOP GOING HERE YOU WILL BE THROWING AWAY YOUR MONEY

This place has below average food, now it features weekend vegetarian buffet for $6 which is just terrible in taste, only four crude dishes, not well made. Personally, I have been there two times: the first time they made me wait for TEN minutes for a cup of tea! Second time, they wouldnt take my orders, rather they took orders of everyone else who was Indian, and made me wait until they were finished. So if you are not Indian or look Indian, DO NOT COME HERE, otherwise you will be treated like second class citizens!!!!!! Other things: they have only real sugar, no calorie free substitute for your chai; some of the tables are not clean with left over food crumbs.

A mere mediocre restaurant with worst food quality and embarrassing service. Youll never get the food in time here. As this is the only restaurant in this area, they wont give you any option to leave them. The girl who sits in the counter feels as if she missed one of the screens in BIg Cinemas and due to her misfortune, she has to sit on this counter. Never order any hot or cold beverages from them. They can make 100 cups of Team or Coffee with 1 oz of milk.Better to have warm water. The pan at the counter looks like left overs from Devon street pan shops. No Choice ... Thanks to Big Cinemas for allowing cheap people

Why would you open a restuarant if you dont know the receipe. Dont insult the cuisine. Who puts chat masala one very dish. Our experience was so terrible with this place that never ever again to visit. If you order 5 things wait until one after other.everytime a different person appears with your dish which is barely edible. The women fighting/discussing ??? in the kitchen can explain the culture. The theme on walls is fine but OMG, the worst indian food that I ever had.We literally ate nothing and paid and decided to walk out.

This is the best experience I have ever had. I came out from watching one of my favorite bollywood films, and I had a craving for some indian treats, and bombay chat was located so conveniently right next to the theatre. Every now and then there is a girl named khusbu there and she is so delightful!! The food is very well priced and I have gone there for many repeat visits. I highly recommend. Also the other is when they first started, they now accept credit cards! This restraunt is all you could want and more!!!!

Worst , worst worst restaurant for the Indian food in whole Chicago. They dont have recipe, there food is double fried, has no taste. Its a blot on the delicious Indian food. The food is that bad that we even witnessed the restaurant owner partying with friends in the nearby Ruchi Restaurant and not in her own restaurant. Nobody but a non Indian who does not know the taste and preparation of things that are prepared there can give good reiviews for this restaurant.Plan to go at your own risk, if you want to.

We ordered couple of things .... One of them was Pizza, the guy said it will take usually 20 to 25 minutes but it took forever... Second thing is chaash (buttermilk) they charged 2.99 each.. we got 3 for 8.97. Their cup size is too small .. they said thats only size we have..I think so it was less than 100ml ... the place overcharged too much.. Recommend to people there is so many other Indian restaurants is around there ... cheak other available option before you go there.

Visited this place after watching a movie at Movimax. Ordered Veg Manchurian, Gujarati thali and idli. Idli was like a brick and sambhar was icy cold. Curry and dal in thali were cold too and without any taste. Manchurian was below average too. Overall extremely poor experience...will not visit this place again in future and will never recommend this place to anyone...

Extremely expensive and not the quality of food served. Never even think of going if are hungry it will take them forever for each item even when there no customers. This the only restaurant which do not ice if a customer wants it. Hot soft drinks are served. But the most important part is the price as if they are serving in a gold plate.

Food Quality is below average. Cons- Getting a burning feeling with lots of masalas thrown in the food. One can figure out by the different sizes of the cut vegetables in the filling, that it is leftovers. Seemed like most chat items were being reheated and it was quite obvious while eating the food. Pros- Restrooms are very clean.

1 star because right when you enter the place it was very hot and there were just a couple fans around which didnt make anything better so it was suffocating to eat in the environment. Also there were photos and frames of controversial religious personalities and gods, which made myself and others feel offended and uncomfortable.

Very unethical business and staff. Was charged for 3 samosas and got only two which were cold and bland. They took forever to pack the samosas. They charged me 4.99$ for a box of papad. Dont buy anything that doesnt have a price sticker on it. Would rather buy snacks next door at the Indian store.

The worst place if you are expecting good service!! Ordered only one pani puri, the taste was horrible when asked to change the water only (tikha pani) kept on wait for half hour! This is a place where you cant even ask for your money back if not happy. Great disappointment!
