If there was a way I could give them a negative or no star I would very much prefer that!!! Everything we ordered today was horrible...starting from appetizer to main course. We ordered samosa and veg indian thali which was no way near of how I would like my Indian food to taste. Moreover, when we ordered our food, the guy took good 15 min to get the order and beside that it was COLD!!!! We requested them to kindly server warm food. This is not expected from an Indian restaurant especially serving in Evanston downtown area:( I even told the manager or who ever that guy was at the front desk, that the food was not good, and he said THANK YOU!!!!! Can you believe that...instead of feeling apologetic...he said thank you!!! They just dont care it seems!!! Dont waste your time and money on this pathetic food!!

In simple words - This place cheats. If you eat at this place and pay using your credit or debit card, make sure that you retain the customer copy of the receipt with you till the transaction posts, cause they just go ahead and add $ on top of the tip you already paid. Be safe and dont visit this place. If you are going to eat here, please make sure you pay in cash or if you use your card, just pray to God that they hopefully wont cheat you.

I usually go to restaurants on Devon Avenue when I go out for Indian food, but my fiance lives in Evanston so we tried this place instead. I enjoyed the food and the service was also fine. Its your typical Indian place, with a wide variety of dishes and regional food. The prices and portions are also about what you would expect for a place like this. I will definitely be going back there.

Expensive for what it is, like every other Indian restaurant. They only make good westernized or well-known Indian dishes such as Butter Chicken and arent good for any sabzis. Naans are always good though, so fluffy. I always stop in for a $3.23 (with tax) Mango Lassi as a treat. Id say go for Mount Everest instead of Mumbai Grill if you want Indian food in Evanston.

Delicious and authentic Indian food made to order of the spiciness you choose. Great customer service and attention. My husband and I went there and I ordered a dish medium spicy, but found it too spicy. The server immediately addressed it bringing me a milder version which was perfect for me. We love this place!

Food arrived cold at 8 PM after an hour and forty-five minute wait (we were told it would be a hour). At midnight, I got up with food poisoning. So miserable for the rest of the night. My husband also felt sick, but not as sick as me...I ate the chicken. Zero stars. First and last time customers.

Great lunch special. Highly recommended. I would definitely return next time Im in the area!! The interior has very little charm or style and its very dim inside, but the food is so good you dont notice.

Worst food, what can you expect from North Indian restaurants. Its a shame, the least we expect is food made on the same day. I can definitely say it is microwaved food.

Helpful and friendly staff, but subpar food. The samsosas were soggy and the main dishes seemed watered down. The naan and service were the best part of the meal.

I love this place! Food is always outstanding and they are so pleasant. Plus they deliver. I wish I could keep it a secret but they deserve lots of business.

Being a foodie, This was one of the worst experience ever. As the appetizers were horrible we ordered check even before ordering main course food.
