I love dining in at Caponies. They are generous with their bread, and you get plenty of food with their meals. I love the panzerottis, and you cant go wrong with either the fried or baked in their wood-burning oven options. The restaurant is small, but it smells great, the atmosphere is pretty romantic with the Italian music in the background, and the staff is kind. I have had issues when ordering to go, but as soon as I brought it to the managers attention, he was kind enough to put a note in the ordering system to give me the same order for free on my next visit. Mistakes happen everywhere, but if the restaurant cares enough to try to make you happy, thats a mark of solid customer service. Street parking can get kind of tight, but if you visit in the evening, you can park in the bank parking lot across the street. Just be careful crossing Irving!

Good Pizza Very Very Poor service! Stopped by one day ordered pizza they got my order wrong ,they wanted to replace the pizza I said Ok ,I told them that I will be picking it up next Friday the manager have me pay for the pizza had a heat up conversation where the manager showed his unexperienced and poor service towards me with no respect and cheap service that their pizza is not worth buying it. I wanted to share with the owner the unpleasant experience, told the lady who works there to have the manager give me a call ,she took my information down twice ,as of today no phone call from the manager. The service toward the customers speaks for itself.

We have had so many problems with Caponies getting our order wrong and misquoting prices that I think we are done with them. I tried to order a 14 inch pizza for pick up on Sunday with three regular toppings and was told it would be $25. The price should not be more than $22 given the prices listed on their menu (and yes, I factored in tax). Weve picked up pizzas with the wrong topping on at least three occasions in the last few months. Caponies needs to get it together or just go out of business. Totally disappointing...even if they do have the best pizza around. Ill take my money to Forno Rossa.

Some of the best Italian Food Ive ever had. They have a great Groupon menu, the place is really old school and decorative. Its clean. The wood burning oven smells delicious. For $80, 4 people shared two appetizers, 4 huge entrees (we all had left overs), drinks, dessert, and some of the best coffee Ive ever had. Declicious, I cant even say that enough. Our waitress was awesome, patient, and even told us about herself and what country she ws from & so forth. Its BYOB so dont forget, but they have an incredible cafe. Would def go again :)

Order arrived before appointed time, which is always a plus, BUT the bruschetta was the worst Ive honestly ever had. There was no bite to it at all, bread fell apart trying to pick it up from being so soggy. Im pretty sure the restaurant ran out of garlic or someone forgot to add it. The whole point of eating it, is to smell like you just ate bruschetta! No flavor. Literally just tomatoes thrown on pieces of toasted (or stale) bread and topped with huge slices of mozzarella. Staring at it as I type, saddest $15 Ive ever spent.

Came here with a big group and was met by a super friendly staff. They got our beer on ice right away and brought out some warm bread. We had calamari as an appetizer and it was my first time having it and I thought it was really good. For pizza we had a ricotta, sausage, pepperoni, magherita and Hawaiian. I had a piece of each and loved the thin crust and great tasting ingredients. My favorite was the magherita and least favorite was the hawaiian.

Incredible good tasty pizza. While waiting for pizza, they brought to us fresh baked crispy bread with butter and icy water which was more than welcome while outside were 90s. The waitress was polite. The pizza wasnt like other places i dinned in. It was freshly baked and tasty. Price: average but worths the quality Environment: elegant Service: average to excellent Music: just perfect Light: extraordinary If i recommend this place? Yes

the first time we ordered from this place i tasted the best pizza ever, after a few times it wasnt so good any more ,today it wasnt a very pleasent experience,it was soggy in the center and burn in the corners,i didnt call to complaint because i hear that sometimes when you do that they do things to your,it food, but this is the last time for me,you should have more respect for your customers this is a very expensive pizza.

Wood burning pizzas are not to be missed! You can also select the past meal where you can create your own past meal. The bruschetta is a great appetizer to start with. I also really like the rigatoni with meat sauce. The only downside to this great place is that you leave here smelling like burning wood. Not sure if they need adjustments to the ventitaltion. Overall a great place with great service.

Service was slow, one waitress & a lot if tables. There were other employees that seemed to want to help but she didnt want them to. Pizza was terrible, no flavor & chewy/tough. Chicken parm sandwich was worse then the one I had in school cafeteria. Fries were undercooked. One gentleman was nice in greeting us as we walked in, thats all that was pleasant, the rest was all downhill on a rainy day.

My favorite pizza place with the Italian charm old style. Top shelf brick oven pizza, on thin crust (if you prefer.) Fried Calamari also is one of my dishes, not too soaked in oil, big pieces and fresh.

Caponies Trattoria is one of the few restaurants that has a wood burning brick oven and you can taste the difference in the pizza. You may also want to save room for dessert.
