If I could give this place a 0 I would. This restaurant used to be good with previous ownership but has gone downhill drastically since. Walked in around 3:30 in the afternoon to place a to go order of 4 sandwiches. After I placed my order and paid I was than informed that they had a birthday luncheon going on that they need to tend to first and it will be 45 mins for my order. Are you kidding me?This hostess actually said this to me. There is a total of 9-11 people in this birthday party and ONE other table of customers that are currently there. The rest of the restaurant was completely empty. I didnt want to run a refund on my card because it would take days to get back so I waited. There was people walking in and out of the kitchen that didnt work there (they were part of the party) which is not sanitary and unprofessional. Almost 40 mins later I am told my food is ready, once I get home I was utterly embarrassed, the shawerma was straight beef, no lamb in it whatsoever , no spices , and the lettuce and tahini sauce were so watery, the sandwich was soggy and tasted like super dry beef jerky. No taste at all!! What a waste of money and time. Service was piss poor. I should have stuck to the the Nile Restaurant or Al Basha their food is consistent and quality for the price. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place, take your hard earned money somewhere else.

They used to be great. Service got bad. I never tried the food, just the hookah lounge. This is based off of my last three visits. Always group of two ppl. It took forever for somebody to take our order. Once the hookah came nobody came to change the charcoal unless you call out. Waiter would forget a straw and when you remind her to get you one it would take 15 minutes. By that time the smoothie melted a bit. The waiters literally just sit there on their phones on the couches and smoke used hookahs. RIDICULOUS. I bet if you asked them, they would say that its because its low. Well business is slow for a reason... And literally every single time we went, we went to play cards. And every time, they didnt have any available. Only one other table had a deck. Ridiculous. And as a cherry on top they charge a mandatory tip. This I didnt notice until last time. I always tipped the waiter well. Double tip? Its just compensation for lost money. After that I never went back. Nor will I. 2 stars just for old time sake, when they first opened and were great

The food has been good consistently the service just ok. But, today there were these small flies around the food, it took 15 for a mango lassie drink, which I received after asking for it twice. The waitress did not come around nor did she remove extra plates until we asked her. Then a gratuity for 4 people was included. Although we would still tip, we definitely did not think the 18% gratuity was deserved and when we asked to have it removed the manager said it couldnt be done, and that thats ok she would pay out of pocket for us--which was insulting as if she had to complete our check... probably not going back.

They charge you for water bottles you didnt order on the patio, the servers hardly ever check up on their tables. They only have one server worker the hookah patio, when its packed, while their are clearly other servers available. The management there is practically nonexistent. Horrible service, horrible everything overall. Fattoush is way better. Well actually "Theres a place, it has better hookah and food than here, its called fattoush" -management at village garden Over heard the management say that to a customer/ former employee- completely unprofessional.

One of the best middle eastern food restaurants. Generous size meals, absolutely never finished my plate due to big size, and always take leftovers home. Really delicious sandwiches, and I personally recommend the chicken kebab sandwich which has an awesome special dressing. Outside patio for hooka is well ventilated. Service is great. Good for big groups as well. It has been my favorite place this summer, and I drive to it all the way from downtown Chicago frequently.

We went for lunch and the restaurant is empty. Cooks are busy preparing for evening buffet for Ramzan. We had to ask for water. We ordered biryani and they did not give any sides like raitha, onion or gravy. Nobody came to us to check of we wanted anything else. There was no sauce, hummus with falafel. We had to wait for a while before they noticed that we are waiting for bill. If they are too busy, they should have just kept the closed sign.

Be carful from their servers , especially the servers name Kayla , she is a liar and will cheat u when u checkout. She will charge u the tips in your check ( included) as a taxes ,and she will ask u to pay tips. I complained her to her boss, but he did not refund my extra paid when I found it out. They are tricky . Be warned. I dont recommend it .

Had reservations for party of 60. Food was delicious. Great mix of Mediterranean and indian. Really enjoyed not having the loud music like at other Mediterranean establishments. Very accomodating to our needs, they provided screens to give us more privacy.

Decent Indo Pak Cusine, I tried the Beef Nihari it was well spiced and cooked my only feedback was the meet it was a little hard I suggest they leave it and steam it a little longer. Tandoori roti was also decent but was over priced.

Odered delivery Palak paneer was amazing. Falafels were a little hard but delicious. Mac and cheese looked like it was from a box but they gave us fries so that made up for it. I would visit the place and try more things definitely

I have to admit i really like their rolls i stop by often for lunch and it is fresh and delish. Although I feel they should offer lunch specials the place is dead during the afternoons they can drive up business with that.

Unprofessional management, dirty food, dirty place, waitress told me about nasty habits in the back. rather go somewhere with great service, great food, and kind workers, Fattoush is much much better.
