I really loved this places before they recently switched owners... Not that its not a great sandwich (or at least was one of the best in town), but they seem to skimp on the meat section of the sandwich. They used to have a ton of meat/ the pictures up on the wall show a very meaty sandwich, however more often than not, you get a sandwich with like a single slice of turkey. I just hope the owners read this review, and take it into consideration.

I always forget how good San Francisco Sourdough is until I have a hankering for a sandwich and then I make my way downtown to satiate my appetite. They consistently make amazing sandwiches that seems to be larger than what you remembered and you always leave that place contentedly stuffed. WARNING: you may have to be rolled out of there once you finish a sandwich.

I ordered their $4.99 lunch special with a cheese sandwich and a soup. The sandwich was good and the soup was amazing. For $5 the portion was large. I"m definately going here next time Im downtown.
