When its good, its good, but too often the kitchen is in grabasstic chaos mode, so your chances of getting the item you ordered prepared correctly is about 50/50. Their big push is green (Hatch) chile this week, and when I ordered their Hatch Chile chicken salad, guess which ingredient was missing - not under-included, but plain missing. Thats right, the Hatch Chile. None. Zero. Not a trace. Of course, they gave me some to add after I let them know, but really? I really like their albacore sandwich on sourdough, but one time its prepared perfectly, with the tartar sauce and teriyaki distributed evenly, and the next time, half the sandwich is dry. The management needs to instill some pride of work, and exercise some quality control. Their menu is good, but no help if you cant count on getting what you think youre ordering. Quality first, guys.

We stopped into The Habit one day as we were shopping in the area and needed a bite to eat. The first thing I noticed is I could make my burger a protein style (lettuce wrapped) and they had sweet potato fries. That made my heart flutter. I ordered a chicken breast protein style, with sweet potato fries. It came out quickly and was perfectly cooked. While it has a unique menu it still feels a little fast-foodesque inside. Be prepared that while they dont have a drive-thru and they have healthy options its still fast food. One just opened up by our house and we like going there when we just need a quick bite to eat and want to go the semi-healthy paleo route.

I love The Habit. I always order the veggie burger and its by far my favorite than any other place. This particular location gets pretty busy at times, staff is really friendly. The only reason Im giving a 4 star instead of 5 star is because I dont like that their staff has crazy makeup. One particular lady over does it. I dont have a problem with people wearing makeup, but I think its unprofessional and inappropriate to wear so much of it while at work. Face to face interaction is really important as a cashier and it makes me feel uncomfortable speaking with someone who has crazy makeup on.

We went to this place to eat before the Neil Diamond concert. I ordered the BBQ Chicken salad with a side of blue cheese dressing. I got a platter of chopped greens with a few strips of chicken on top, which would have been okay, but they took about half a bottle of BBQ sauce and poured it all over the top of the salad. Yuk! Lettuce drenched in BBQ sauce is not BBQ chicken salad. Others in the group said the French fries were good but not awesome, and the burgers were pricey.

Okay. My burger wasnt hot. The patty wasnt the greatest either considering I didnt even have to chew it. They did forget my bacon but after I took my burger back the gave me some on the side. The lemonade is delicious though so definitely get that if you go! Overall its better than McDonalds or BK but with the options of IN N OUT or even better go to the Burger Lounge!! Their burgers are much better and they have delicious lemonade as well!

Clean restaurant with very attentive staff. They make sure to fill you in quickly if they see you look confused about ordering. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Parking lot is a bit tight and has lots of traffic, it shares it will the shopping center nearby. The food is always quality here, if you havent tried it you should get the green bean fries here they are so good!

I used to eat at the habit all the time when I lived in Santa Barbara, was stoked to see this opening right down the street from my house. The staff is great and the burgers are just as good as I remember. Do yourself a favor and get avacado and cheese on your burger, you wont regret it.

I prefer Chick-Fil-A, but it is usually very crowded before Gulls games. My wife and I decided to give this place a try before the game. They had a great selection and the food was good. If you want a Salad or a Burger, this is a great non-fast food fast food type of place.

I ordered a Cobb salad it was very expensive and got shredded iceberg lettuce no green no healthy stuff a grave disappointment I would have got a better salad at Wendys and cheaper!!! I dont even like their burgers theyre always under cooked I will not return again!!!

Super freaking awesome burgers! You just cant go wrong, although you do need to tell them well done or itll be pink in the center. Oh and you must try the green beans, breaded and yes, probably deep fried but they are so fresh and so good!

I used to love this place. I had a location right across the street from me growing up in LA. For the last two times Ive been here, they have messed up my to go order. It is discouraging when you get home and your orders wrong.

Too much mayo on the burger, and the Caesar salad dressing is not Caesar salad dressing. The Santa Barbara style burger was awesome. The tempura green beans are delicious. The shake with half chocolate sauce worked.

I love the veggie burger, sweet potato fries, and really enjoy the tri tip sandwich. Not enough indoor seating and we always have to clean the tables off ourselves unless we sit outside.

All around everything is just really good. The shakes, burgers, and even salads are good. Definitely worth checking out for some of the hamburger chain restaurants.
