We came here on Thursday evening for a birthday dinner. We were seated immediately at a grill with a couple. The waitress capme and took our drink orders fairly quickly. After that service went down hill. One refill in almost two hours, order mix up, anx we had to ask about the birthday fruit four times although we mentioned it as we were seated. A sign was posted that they are hiring, and it was obvious that they were short wait staff. However, the hostesses and bartender stood around as there three colleagues were practically running. Ive been coming for years and service has never been an issue until now. The restroom also was not tended to during the time we were three; frequent trips with an infant and toddler. To make matters worse, my two boys and I have been dealing with upset stomachs since Friday. I believe its due to eating off of the grill. Thursday I had sushi, soup, and salad, and no issues. However, I heated up my sons leftovers and we all had some of the fried rice and have been sick since. I had issues while pregnant and thought it was the pregnancy, but obviously not. Really disappointed because this was one of go to restaurants up until now. Hopefully they will hire committed staff who are teammates and realize that a happy customer benefits everyone. Oh yeah, did I mention our soup and salad bowls were never collected until we got our to go containers?

My daughter went to this restaurant with her 18 month old son on Saturday, September 17, 2016 around 12:15 p.m. They were just opening up to serve customers. She thought that they were going to have an enjoyable afternoon meal. This meal turned out to be the "Meal From Hell!". She ordered a Kid chicken hibachi for her son and shrimp hibachi for herself. When she returned home after eating at Kiku, her son started getting sick. She changed his diaper, FIVE TIMES! Each time that she changed him, hed grab his stomach. She started feeling sick also on Sunday, September 18, 2016. Vomiting and and running to the bathroom with diarrhea and stomach pains! Today, Monday, September 19, 2016, she was so sick that she could barely drive him to daycare. Her son is on the mend and that is because she fed him "bland" foods Saturday, Sunday and today, Monday morning. She was TOO SICK to write this review and that is why I am writing it for her. I plan on reporting this restaurant to the Better Business Bureau as well as to the Health Department and whatever agencies that are affiliated with "food distribution/consumption" in Georgia. She got food poisoning from this restaurant!

If youre thinking about going here for a nice meal, just dont. I wasted $30+ last night on just rice and vegetables as that was the only edible food. I ordered a California roll as a starter and it was just cucumber and avocado. No crab meat whatsoever. Our server asked me if I wanted the fish eggs on top or not and I thought nothing of it until he asked us both if we wanted the two shrimp that came with our habachi meals too and then never offered the dessert that is supposed to be included with the meal. Trying to cut corners and save money any way possible...including the no crab meat in a freaking California roll. If management at this establishment is reading this, please google search a California roll and educate your sushi chef. The chicken from the habachi was either slimy on the inside or rubbery. Not one edible bit. I spit out several bites before giving up and just eating the vegetables and steamed rice. And again, the server never offered the dessert that is supposed to be included with the meal. Just hand us our checks. We arent rude people. Its not like we pissed off our server and got this kind of treatment. Its just a piss poor restaurant.

Ive had dinner at this particular location several times and thought it was a great place to eat until 7/4/2017. My daughter loves KiKus so we dine inside at a table instead of the grill. We both ordered the Hibachi chicken teriyaki. When we received our food my daughter said her chicken tasted funny and it was cut into bigger than normal pieces. My chicken was cut into huge chunks as well but it didnt taste funny because it was drowning in teriyaki sauce so I told my daughter maybe the funny smell was coming from the raw sushi bar and we ate but my daughter pushed her chicken to the side. About half way through my meal my stomach begin to hurt so we packed up our food and left. As soon as I got home I was vomiting and had diarrhea all night into the next day. I believe I was food poisoned because they served spoiled chicken. I will not return to this location and KiKus should be ashamed of themselves for serving spoiled food with the prices they charge plus there 18% mandatory gratuity. Pls dont eat at this location!

Ordered takeout and the young lady took my order wrong and I was charged higher then what I ordered. After reviewing this and talking to the manager and showing him the food, no one wanted to take ownership of the mistake. What makes this crazy is that I frequent this place regularly and to have this kind of service is unheard of. Also this is the second time this has happened. I brushed if off the first time and gave them another chance to redeem themselves but this time I couldnt take this one lying down......thats why they get one star for me. If the manager was more concern about the issue then brushing it off to keep a lil money then they wouldnt get such a low review so this restaurant doesnt deserve my service.

I have been to the hibachi in the past and it was ok. Basically like every other passable hibachi place with a little show, though the prices are high. Tonight I ate in the sushi bar area and ate only sushi which was a terrible mistake. I wish I had bought sushi from the Publix grocery store instead. The spicy tuna roll was some kind of baby food spicy tuna slop inside a roll of rice. It was disgusting. I have had far better at just about every other place I have gotten sushi. The super crunch roll contained no crunch. Most of the fish was tasteless and the rolls did not hold up well. Every roll was basically like putting a wad of flavorless mush in your mouth. If you want sushi go somewhere else!

I have to this location many times and my last visit was so bad that it will be the last. Waitress messed up drink and food order. Cook was the worst. And I have tried every Japanese restaurant in the area. And at end of meal was demanded that I leave more tip than I left. And when stated to hostess why tip was small she responded with waitress only works for tips as if my concerns about my meal we not even mentioned. Did leave better tip and made a promise to myself to never return and to stop praising this location to others

I have gone to this location many times and every-time it has been a complete disaster. The most recent included the young lady taking my order over the phone, I arrive, and no order to be found!!! I live 30 minutes away and this was completely unacceptable. Not to mention that their system was down, and I was advised to go to the bank ACROSS THE STREET for cash only transactions. Seriously? Needless to say, I will drive the additional 15 minutes and patronize the Camp Creek location before this one. I was so disappointed.
