If you like HAIR in your FOOD I would suggest eating here!! I ate here last week. Ordered their fufu with Edikaikong soup along with another dish. However, towards the end of eating my soup I found Hair in the meat. Which means this hair was marinated in the seasoning. When I told the waitress she was shocked and said they would cook me another piece of meat. I said No Thank You and that I was not paying for that meal but I would gladly pay for the other dish. She brought the manager over and he said that people lie to get out of paying for food and tried to argue with me. Eventually, he apologized and stared he would take that dish off of my check. I paid with a debit card and still left a tip. But when I checked my statement they took more off of my account. Im assuming they rounded to the nearest dollar amount on her tip. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE NOR WILL I RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE!

Hostess was horrible. Literally looked at me with a arm full of menus and didnt hand me one. Then came around again and notified the rest of my table of a five min wait and still didnt give me a menu. -_- seriously? I was sat on the outside edge so its not like she didnt see me or the fact that I didnt have a menu because she made a point to reach over me and give my friend a menu. I had to raise my voice to get her attention when she walked by again. I go to restaurants to eat not raise my voice. The waitress however was awesome. She was very attentive to our needs and made sure that WE were taken care of. I ordered the moi moi and it was good. Not what I expected but pretty good. If the hostess with the short Bob cut wasnt there I would go back, but until then I will look for another place.

Most of their offerings taste good, its a nicely set African restaurant. I do think they need to improve on their wait time, I think it takes too long and although their service members have been nice to me, their service could be more responsive. I do think the pricing on some of their delicacies can be a bit expensive. Also some of their soups are a hit or miss, not sure if different chefs. But in all, they do have an extensive menu so you should be able to find something you like at a reasonable price, thats why I go back.

If you looking for Liberian food do not waste your time. Simply go to Minas in stone mountain. Waist of my $. If you cooking for the general public, you dont put pepper in the food. That should be offer on the side. Not everyone eats pepper. My friend couldnt even eat the food. They cook the meat and the soup separately. I should have left when they said beef or fish? Greens had a funny after taste. Like I said if you looking for Liberian food go somewhere else. Anything else, this spot might be good.

Ahhh this will certainly be my spot when it comes to Ghanaian food! My Ghanaian buddy took me there for a late Saturday lunch and man was the food good! Out of the 3 plates we all had and sampled I think mine was the best! The jollof with beef suya! Also, the meat pies for appetizers where amazing. If you like spicy ask them to bring you their homemade hot sauce! Really good!

Excellent food. Remember, African food is slow cooked food. Its worth the wait. The Liberian dishes arent quite the way we Liberians make them BUT very tasty. I recommend the Suya, the soups, and the cassava leaf meals. Keep in mind these meals are blow-your-ears spicy and taming it down compromises the flavor. Order a pitcher of water if you have to but do enjoy!

It was my first time here and the service from the waitress Chongy was bad. We were sitting for 16 mins until we were noticed. The food would have been excellent but it was brought out to me cold and I knew it wasnt fresh food. The rice smelled and tasted burnt. Overall no smiles from workers even the host. The food would have been great but it was old and cold.

Great ambiance, great food, and great service. Like most African restaurants, the food takes about 20-30 minutes to arrive to your table. Theres a wide range of choices on the menu. Really cant go wrong with anything you order. Its worth mentioning that the Isi Ewu is probably the BEST thing on the menu. Its a very good dish the way they prepare it.

Hit or miss depending on who is cooking. Furthermore the service is slow and unprofessional. I only come here when my gf wants African food otherwise I wouldnt. Im American and used to servers trained to deliver service to customers. Cant give more than two stars since Ive waited over 45 minutes for an appetizer plus an additional 15 for main course.

The food was really good. But the service was terrible. Ive been on on two separate occasions hoping to get better service. Didnt happen. The waitress was rude, acted like she had a problem, and when I had questions was visibly annoyed about me asking questions. Ill go back for the food, but Im getting it to go. Never dining in again.

Waited over 30 minutes for the food to come out and my appetizer didnt come out! I asked the waitress about it and she said it was on the way while I was half way done with my meal. Asked her not to bother and she didnt try to reconcile. Told the manager and her response was its okay

Ikes is amazing! Their food is well seasoned, the prices arent outrageous and the staff are super friendly. Ive been there every time Ive taken a trip to Atlanta and they never disappoint. Their suya is probably the best Ive ever had and they have Alvarro!

Theres always a great atmosphere, good music and more importantly the food is always on point and generous. Its the best African restaurant in Atlanta hands down. Only downside is its a little pricey.
