I really love there fried rice.. It is down the street from my house.. And I always order the same thing if im not eating there ($60 or better).. Howevery I went today and order my fried rice (2)... Normally it $6.42 with yum yum sauce (3) and extra garlic butter... Today the lady was like $8.00... I was like hold up I always come here... So i show her my bank statement (via phone) where I pay the $6.42 every time I order there... But when I start looking I notice I got charge a different price each time.. Mind you I order the same thing. So out of 5 different times i paid 4 differnt prices on the same order.. PLEASE BEWARE THEY CHARGE WHAT THEY WANT EVEN WHEN THERE IS A MENU WITH PRICES... False ADVERTISMENT!!! There customer service even suck... The food kept me coming back... Please dont eat there why support a business who doent support there own menu and not there pockets.

Facelift for the mall. Not so much for Happy Sumo So youd be fooled to believe theyd clean up their act. The place looks like it belong in some back alley in some bad neighborhood. They couldve taken the opportunity to make actual improvements with the whole shopping center restoration. Appearances aside, the food is nothing to write home about either. How can I put it... The sushi rice is somewhat soggy, what makes the sushi unstable. It crumbles when you try to eat it. And to be frank, it doesnt taste delicious. Ive paid less for better quality sushi in the area. And now theres the demeanor thing. I find it utterly unprofessional on the part of any restaurant employee to be engaged in loud discussions anywhere near clients. Thats what happened there. This was my first eat in experience. The last.

I just did a sushi pick up order... so I cant comment much on the staff but my sushi was good. I went simple and just ordered spicy tuna (they do it the ground up way as opposed to tuna chunks) and California roll. Everything seemed fresh. I ordered three rolls (some places give you tiny rolls so I wanted to make sure I had enough) but I could have went with two, while they were not huge they were nice average sized rolls. I look forward to trying more from this restaurant.

Happy Sumo is a great place for friends and family. You will have a different experience depending on which cook you get. Some are great conversationalist and other will have you laughing the whole night. Even on busy nights there isnt to long a wait time. The food is a little pricey for my taste but you get what you pay for! The sushi is some of the best in the Peachtree area. If you you are looking for a fun environment for dinner Happy Sumo is the place for you.

Ive been going here for over 10 years and for the price this is one of my favorite hibachi restaurant. I personally am not a big fan of the sushi here and go elsewhere, but the hibachi is delicious and reasonably priced. I recommend the Filet and Scallops, but the shrimp and chicken is also good. The staff is very friendly, however may not be as attentive as some mentioned but the taste of the food quickly makes up for it.

Good food. Absolutely horrible service. I was not able to tip because of personal issues. So the waitress took it upon herself to chase me down screaming I did not tip. This was very embarrassing and unprofessional. I will never go to this restaurant again. You cant make someone tip for sushi. And thats not how you get a tip either.

I will not go here ever again! We have been here a few times but this time not only did they get our order wrong but they wanted to for charge us an extra almost $4. I wont go here again I will stick with our favorite Wasabi House! Best sushi around and they are so nice! Much better than this place.

Love this place, food is fresh and delicious. The cooks are great! lunch is fast in and out ,even if you are on lunch hour from work, and dinner prices are higher than lunch prices, but that is to be expected. the sushi is also delicious and made to order!

Possibly the worst shrimp on the entire planet. I feel extremely nautious after this terrible experience. I suggest, going to the sea and eating raw shrimp before you eat here. I prefer taking a laxative over eating here.

Classic Japanese style restaurant with seating areas around hibachi grills and separate seating for sushi. The hibachi was good with large portions. Did not have sushi but the sushi seating area was quite full.

Fantastic food, people and atmosphere. I go weekly and they have always provided an excellent experience. If you love sushi ask the chef to surprise you and you will get something truly amazing.

Pretty standard hibachi, nothing that set it apart from any other hibachi restaurant in the area. The cook was nice, but the wait staff was unfriendly and absent any time you needed something.
