Went to try the new Pub on Sat., 1/24/15. Took a few minutes to get seated, which was understandable, seeing it was a Sat. & newly opened. Waitress took our order for drinks quickly. While waiting for drinks, waitress came back several times to see if we were ready to order our food. Did not want to order until drinks were received, which took 25 minutes to get a Black & Tan Beer. Noticed Bartender, which happened to be the owner, was standing and talking with customers the whole time we were waiting for beer. General Manager came to see what the problem was, while beer was being delivered. We stated that it had taken 25 minutes to receive beer, With a snotty attitude, Manager asked "Were we were timing it?" We immediately asked for our check, paid and were leaving, due to Managers snottiness. He then "escorted" us out like WE had done something wrong. Will not ever be back to this place or to "Oh Shucks", which is owned in part by same owner, which we have been to many, many times. We are known as Red Solo Cups. We may only be one couple, but we are well known in our community. We will be talking loudly to others, describing our experience.

My wife and I went there for our Valentines Day dinner and had a wonderful time. Everything about this place is great...except one very important thing. If youre going to sell yourself as having Irish food and put Corned Beef and Cabbage on your menu, it is a CRIME to serve what youre trying to pass off as Corned Beef. Not only was it rubbery and tasteless, it didnt even look like Corned Beef. It was obviously some form of processed meat that resembled Oscar Meyer Ham. My wife was horribly disappointed as she was looking forward to having some good Corned Beef and Cabbage all week. I was looking forward to having the Cornish Pasty and I was happy because it was darn good. Id have given you a five star rating if it wasnt for this affront to the Irish. (Its like opening an Italian restaurant and trying to pass off Spaghetti-Os as good Italian food.) Either take Corned Beef off the menu or serve the real thing.

I was pleasantly surprised at this place. We had a very nice coupon for a free steak dinner if you purchased one. We ordered an appetizer of Ruben rolls. They were similar to a spring roll with corned beef, sauerkraut and cheese inside. They served it with a great sauce and they were delicious. Then the NY strip steaks arrived. It was a very large steak, buttered Irish potatoes and yummy yeast rolls. It was also delicious! There were not many people inside so it worried me a little but turned out great!! It was a Sunday evening and that could have been why? So totally impressed and will go back. They have many traditional Irish dishes and some Greek food also. The service was good also. I would highly recommend a visit. It was medium priced depending on what you order. NY strip is $21.95 for large steak, a side dish and 2 great yeast rolls. Sorry for the long post. Have fun!!

Just happened on this place while out buying. Had no idea what to expect. Things got started a little slow at first. I imagine its different at dinner when theres a hostess and waitresss all over the place. Was also a little worried about the prices on the menu... A little high for lunch. But it all came to a perfect finale when the food arrived. Patty melt was excellent, and youve got to try the fries. Everything was hot and fresh. Needless to say I ate way too much, and the final bill wasnt so bad. Need to work on being more attentive....had to get my own napkins and ask for more drink, but overall it was excellent. A great find that I will return to when Im in the area.

Took my wife and 3 yr old here food was great. I ordered steak and that for me is something that needs to be done right which has never happened. To my surprise the steak was actually well done and not burnt, all our food was delish. All the staff were great but they werent that busy so I will go on a busy day and see the difference but for sure I will be going again and will probably make this our regular spot thats how good I felt about it, Ill see if that changes.

Was enticed to go there and give them a chance. Instead of ordering a $20.00 plus steak, I thought I would try a burger. $10.95 was OK if it was cooked correctly. Was very specific with the waitress. Charred on the outside and cool inside. It came out like it had been boiled or steamed, or done in the microwave. Glad I did not order a $20.00 plus steak. What a shame. Wont be going back. if you cant cook a burger, you definitely cant cook a steak.

I should have know when the restroom door was about to fall off that attention to the food would probably be the same. My wife got salmon with fake grill marks and some kind off sauce poured over it with canned mushrooms as a side. I got fish and chips not the best but eatable but I didnt we paid our bill and left went down the street a bit to sams on main a small hole in the wall that the food was delicious

One Star is HIGHLY overrated for this place! I would only recommend this place if your into eating roaches! We sat at the bar and ordered drinks, the menu was placed on the bar in front of us by a very distracted & uninterested bartender. When we picked it up to decide on lunch a roach crawled out from under it. The bartender just acted like no big deal! Totally disgusted we left and will never return.

Service was horrible and Id take a straw outside to clean up any drunks puke before Id order food from this place again. Left the garbage from the menu on the table after a couple bites and walked out. The only reason this place is still in business...local following and the fact they have beer...if not for the beer the local friends of the friends and nut swingers wouldnt do business here

What an incredible meal!!! Probably one of the best dinners I have every had. The filet mingon was a very good size, flavorful and tender. We had potato wedges with cheese and bacon for an appetizer. The potatoes and bacon were nice and crunchy and the mixture of cheese with sour cream was divine. Dont forget about the desserts!!! I would highly recommend this restaurant!!

Should have known better than a steakhouse with 3 patrons on a Friday night. Inattentive staff that shrugged at the roach that crawled Off my plate! Bartender seemed more appalled by my distaste than the fact that a roach was actually on my plate, then nonchalantly took the food off my tab and handed the bill with 1 beer on it (that I didnt bother finishing). Dont bother!

Unassuming from the outside. But my husband and I decided to give it a try. Hands down the best steak Ive ever had. Pleasant staff and reasonable prices. If youre tired of paying high prices for sub-par food and bad service I highly recommend you try this place because you will leave with a smile on your face.
