I really wanted to like this place, local brewery and walking distance from my house. First, the beer... I tried the Brun Dank (Belgian-style India Brown ale) which had such a strong aftertaste I did not finish it. Next I tried the Smokey and the Banana which was lighter but it was like beer filtered through burnt wood. They just seemed like theyre trying way too hard to a have a "great beer" and completely missing out on making one "good beer". There is nothing wrong with having a house beer that is even keel, maybe a bit boring but something that the masses will drink. Not everything has to have 7 different types of hops and have an aftertaste that will be with you all evening. People will drink a "regular" beer and probably wind up experimenting with some of your other beers but they wont be back if the crazy beers are all you have. Also, my wife wondered why they didnt have a cider or something that was not quite beer besides soda from a can? Okay, so the food... we already had dinner earlier so we just wanted some snacks, ordered the tots and the three dip thing. the tots were good, kind of hard to screw them up. The dips were odd, I dont care for hummus but my wife likes it and thought it was just okay. The guacamole was also just okay, it was already starting to turn brown though like it had been sitting out. The salsa, if you can call it that, was horrible. Seriously, someone that didnt know the ingredients could make better salsa. It was a thick paste and tasted really bad. Granted, it is winter time and fresh ingredients might be hard to come by, but that was not suitable to be served. Take a walk down to Salsaritas and have them give you their salsa recipe, its not great but passable. Overall this place seems to have a following, could be very good with some changes. I really do hope the owners read these comments and address some of the issues. I might try back again when it warms up, the patio looks nice.

I was really excited to go to a small brewing company restaurant. We were coming out of Adrian and we skipped Sidetracks in Ypsilanti to try Tecumseh Brewing Co. I was very dissapointed in the food. The menu was ambitious and everything sounded wonderful. I order the skirt steak jerk sandwich..... it was extremely oily and undercooked. My husband ordered the pull pork sandwich which lacked in flavor and texture. We also ordered the dip and chip appetizer. The hummus was foul smelling and was topped with what looked like 1/4 cup of oil. I think the guacamole was store bought and wasnt anything special and the salsa was a weird color. The beer although a small selection was good. Overall I would not return. Its unfortunate because I love the idea and the story behind the brewing company. I hope they have better luck with their food execution in the future!

Everything on the menu is flavourful and delicious. Their beer selections keep growing and change every time im there and never disappoint. The staff is always friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is great. The outside patio is a great space and they are bringing in live music which is rare around the area. I always suggest TBC for anyone looking for a great place to eat or drink.

I went right after they opened. They had different longer hours and more days to be opened. since then they have only been open weekends essentially. The website has been changing the duration of the reduced hours. The flight was good. As was the steak sandwich. I will go back once the reduced hours go away.

My wife and I were passing thru town today on a business trip. We stopped by for lunch. I had a burger and my wife had an Italian sandwich. The food was very good, the Hop Gun IPA was excellent. The menu was priced fair and the comfortable atmosphere earned it 5 stars for a brew pub.

Lots of respect for these guys for trying to be local in every way possible. Great attitude by everyone there. I was looking at the reviews and was shocked to see people didnt think the food was awesome. Seriously, its good. Keep doing what your going gentlemen.

This is a good place has a cute no smoking patio. You go up to the bar to get your own beer, and they ring you when your food is done. Sometimes the bar is full, and theres a line to order; that can be discouraging, but its worth the wait.

Amazing artisan beers. And to compliment them, wonderful food. The staff is knowledgeable, fun & patient with non-expert beer drinkers. Has a "pub" atmosphere & try are frequently changing the brews. Great place to meet friends.

My favorite place to eat in all of Lenawee county! Hands down! Burgers, nachos, and of course the beer. Some of the best beer around! Always something great on tap. They always have a good weekly special too.

Its a self serve bar. You have to wait in line to order at the bar and you have to pick up your food and bus your own plates and silverware at the end. Beer and buffalo dip were good though!

If you like a stout, I would recommend getting a half stout and their peanut butter. Awesome combo. We had the Blu cheese burger, the Cuban sandwich and mac and cheese. All were great.
