Went there on June 16th 2016, this was mine and my husbands first time ever eating there. Not only was the staff and management great they was also very welcoming and friendly. We felt very welcomed there!. As far as the food, If it was not a 45 minute drive from my house I could eat there every day. We both ordered the Village burger which was a double and we got the Texas toast for the bread (recommended by staff), I got the fried pickles and my husband the fries and it was great. Its very close to being the best burger I have had. The meat used is truly fresh to the taste, these are hand made patties. I read one of the low star reviews before posting this talking about how the staff and management was talking to each other and bla bla. This is not an outback, this is not a Texas Road House, or some other big higher class joint. This place is a small home town bar set it. You can eat at the bar or get you a table inside or you can eat out side at the tables they have out there. This is not a place where you go to eat if you want to eat in quite, GO HOME and eat if that is what you are looking for. Order it to go and take it home. We ate at the bar and felt as if we had been friends with the staff for years and that was the first time we been there. Never heard of the place before. I will be making that 45 minute drive or longer depending on the traffic between Stockbridge GA and Dunwoody Ga to eat at this place again. I very highly recommend this place.

I pretty much ate here religiously every Friday during the summer. You wouldnt think anything of the place by looking at it, but I think that adds to the experience. During the lunch hour it is super crowded. Indoor seating is almost non existent, but they have a decent amount of outdoor seating. Definitely worth a look if you want to try a locally owned folksy type establishment. The burger is good. You can tell it is handmade due to the inconsistencies in the patty. Kind of like a five guys, but maybe a little better. If you have a big appetite I recommend getting the double, because the single will easily be drowned out by the bun and condiments ! Toppings are always up to par, never any old soggy tomatoes or lettuce or anything like that. All the veggies got a good crunch. Definitely a casual, average all american type menu. It is not quite as fancy as Yeah!, Flip, or Farm Burger..but you can still get a veggie or turkey burger. I also like their chili dogs ! Their fries can be a hit or miss though..I like them but a lot of people complain about them being overcooked or too soggy or over seasoned so maybe specify how you like em when you order ! Also, two people could easily share one order of fries During peak hours, customer service suffers a bit. They do what they can and I never have any complaints but just dont go in their expecting 5 star service.

Ive been here twice and I can see its potential, but the food and service dont live up to it. The first time, my fries were undercooked and soggy, the burger was pretty good, but the service was unremarkable, almost apathetic. Maybe the kids working there figure that takeout customers wont tip. The second time, my fries were half hot and half cold, leading me to believe that some were freshly cooked and some had been sitting a while. Sorry, bad disguise for a bad practice! I tried a hot dog and it did not have the "char" that is in the name. It was undercooked, lukewarm, the bun was COLD and it did not taste prepared to order as stated. I could get this good of a hot dog at Target! I think the staff needs more supervision if theyre going to do this burger joint right. Like I said, there is great potential here but it is not fulfilled so far. Go to Five Guys, at least they will cook your food fresh.

The food is good ,but the service mmm.. one thing that really, really catch my attention was what the employees were talking about in front of me ,and even the employees in the kitchen, this place is really small and if you sitting at the bar youll hear everything they say. They need to realize and understand theres things that you dont talk about when youre at work and worse when the conversation is so inappropriate and is in front of the customers ,and also keep in mind that some of us understand a second language (Spanish) ,there is nothing more awkward and uncomfortable that to hear a conversation when you dont even want to hear it or understand it and on top of it when is super inappropriate and youre trying to eat :-P

The burgers are very juicy and delicious. I highly recommend the village burger with cheddar cheese and bacon. The seasoned fries are also very delicious. However, the cheese fries are a bust. They consist of unmelted cheese. I ordered them one day and I was served fries with cold shredded cheese. I said, "What are these?" and the village burger chefs stated, "WE are an actual restaurant! We dont have a microwave." I stomped out they door because I was so unsatisfied with the poor cheese fries! True cheese fries must have melted cheese not cold shredded cheese! If you dont like their cheese fries go to El Azteca they have a good lunch menu.

Burgers were good, fries, fried pickles are sub-par, cashier Paul N, says receipt, couldnt have been a more horrible service worker. His negative energy and customer service is why this place would get 3 stars, the reason it gets 2 stars is because when a woman complained to him about his service to get the manager, he told the manager he didnt appreciate her constructive criticism and the manager pretty much did nothing about it. The crew could care less. If youre going to talk about a customer, at least dont do it in the dining area loudly for everyone to hear. Maybe if you want a takeout burger this place is worthy.

Probably the best burger Ive had...period. Ive tried a couple of the popular spots like Farm Burger and Zen Burger, and while good - they just dont beat Village Burger for me. The meat tastes fresh and delicious, is seasoned well (but not salty) and never disappoints. Even the turkey burger is great. Its one of my husbands favorite things to order here. Village Burger is a favorite for my husband and I when we want a casual date night. The seasoned fries, onion rings and milkshakes/custard are great too. You only need to order one side of fries for two people. The portion is huge. Try them out. You wont regret it.

I really want to support independent Dunwoody restaurants like Village Burger but Im all out of free passes after last night. You get my order wrong 80% of the time. Who forgets cheese on a cheese burger?! And I send it back only to get a cold slice of cheese on my daughters now shredded burger. Plus I dont need attitude from your teenage wait staff and that utterly disgusting restroom I took my kids into is a deal breaker for parents. With Farm Burger close by why would I subject myself to this? You need to take a good hard look at your customer experience.
