This place is a MUST!! Brand new restaurant with a diverse menu, amazing drinks, and excellent service. We were immediately attracted to the restaurant because of the unique name and decided to give it a try. Aaliyah was our server, and we will ask for her every time we go! She made our experience beyond exceptional! Her knowledge on the food and drinks were on point and she gave us incredible service, ensuring that my party was always happy. She recommended the crab Rangoon dip and the calamari and they were phenomenal! Not too heavy, but just enough appetizer for our party of four. Our entrees were made and presented to perfection and the serving sizes of everything was more than enough (with some to go around). Their drink and spiked milkshake menu was to die for! The decor of the restaurant was beautiful, modern, and sleek with a couple of gorgeous salt water fish tanks throughout the restaurant (with starfish). Their music playlist was beyond tasteful with a mixture of Michael Jackson, Sublime, Bobby McFerrin, etc; an eclectic mix. We consider ourselves foodies (and drinkies), as we are always creating new unique dishes at home and are trying to find fun, cool, new restaurants with awesome food and drinks. Go to Cowfish, get Aaliyah as your server, and youll be guaranteed to have a good time! We will defiantly be back!!!!

This is the second time Ive been here. The first time I ordered a burger, which was HUGE. Definitely worth the visit. This time I ordered the lobster and filet mignon roll. What a waste of money! It was mediocre at BEST, and unfortunately $23 for overcooked sliced beef and what may or may not have been real lobster drowning in a mostly rice roll. My co worker had the shrimp tempura roll, and it was not good either! I am a huge sushi fanatic, but this place is by far the worst sushi Ive had in Atlanta thus far. This place is really cool and great if you want a good burger, but DO NOT waste your time with the overpriced, grocery store quality sushi. If you want amazing sushi, go to Wasabi House in Dunwoody!

Great atmosphere, great food and great service. Everything we ate was delicious. I will be returning here to try some of their other items. The shrimp appatizzer was spicy but flavorful, highly recommend. The sake sampler was great! The apple sake tasted a bit too much like an appletini for my taste but the others were awesome. The fusion bento box came with a mini burger with a jalapeno cream cheese topping. The burger tasted like the best homemade burger youve ever eaten and the topping truly topped it off. The firecracker sushi roll would have been enough by itself but was wonderful too. The cucumber salad was sweet but strangely addictive. The sweet potato fries and eddemames were top notch.

It was fairly packed when we went on a busy Saturday, but nowhere near as bad a wait as Cheesecake Factory. 15-30 minutes is a lot more reasonable than I expected, but we wound up sitting at the bar. The service was wonderful! As busy as it was, the bartender was still able to fulfill all of our needs in a timely manner and she was incredibly friendly. So if anyone from the restaurant reads this: Shout out to Alicia for the bomb ass suggestions! The drinks were mixed great, the food was delightful, and the milkshake was phenomenal. I would love to go back again. The only drawback is the food is on the pricey side, but the quality is well worth the price.

First I would like to state that decor and atmosphere is really appealing. The service was good. With that aside the food was abosoute rubbish!! The burger was not properly cooked and fries came out cold. The sushi was absolutely tasteless. I have yet to comprehend how you can server something like sushi with no taste. The sushi at the local grocery store has more flavor and appeal. I was disappointed to see that my bagel roll was deep fried! Who does that? And with the spicy tuna roll was completely appoling. Rice puffs to add some semblance of texture with once again no taste. I will never try this establishment again nor will I recommend it.

Awesome restaurant that combines burgers and sushi with some "fusion" options of the two flavors. We tried the lobster and crab spring rolls, eel roll, and prime time lobster and filet roll. The spring rolls and eel roll were both very good. The prime time lobster roll, from the "burgushi" menu was good as well and combined western style filet mignon and lobster in a sushi roll. I was expecting something more creative and hybrid but it really more of a steak themed sushi roll. We did not try any of the burgers or "burgushi" paninis. Overall experience as very good. Food is excellent. Service was good as well, though a bit slow due to the crowd.

Burger and sushi fusion? It works! You can certainly get either a burger or sushi but why not try a hamburger sushi roll. Sounds crazy but its really good. I had the bento box with two mini burgers and a regular sushi roll with sweet potato fries and edamame. My girlfriend had the sushi/burger roll. Fried pickles are good as an appetizer but the portion is huge. The design of the place is really neat. Edit 1: We came back again. Had a BBQ pulled pork sushi roll. Sounds nuts but its surprisingly good. $3 drafts on Mondays. Good beer selection.

Sushi and burger fusion restaurant with large, flavorful portions. Perfect for when someone in your group (me) doesnt like sushi when everyone else is craving. The All-American Bacon Double Cheeseburgerooshi (burger wrapped in soy paper and potato straws fried and cut up into sushi) was perfect. If you get the truffle fry appetizer have someone to share it. Quirky wall art riffing famous paintings & pop culture with added burgers and cowfish as well as a Ric Flair menu item from when he lived above the first restaurant add to the unique ambiance.

Perfectly executed contradiction. Check the pictures! They truly have both amazing burgers, and superb sushi. In the same restaurant they make some of the best of totally opposite types of food. To top it off, they have some of the best prices on all kinds of beer! Truly a unicorn amongst restaurants. Seriously, check the images of food, there are tons of pics because of how beautiful they serve the plates. Freshest ingredients, flawlessly prepared. Rather shocking a place like this could exist. Definitely the place to go!

Been here twice and both times the service here was astounding! The waiter was incredibly friendly and diligent and the staff even gave us all coupons for our next visit! The second time I came I dropped in to talk to some friends finishing their lunch and the waitress got me a glass of water and asked me if I needed anything as if I was there the entire time. The food was quite good as well and their unique fusion of sushi and burgers is worth a try. I also really enjoy how they give you postcards as an after meal gift!

This place was awesome. The food was unusual but was very good. The service was excellent. We had Nicole as a server and she did a very good job. Especially when she found out it was our first time. She explained everything, recommended several things and did an awesome job. She even told us to try the new restaurant in Birmingham since we told her we were from Alabama. An excellent trip and we will definitely try the new one in Birmingham very soon.
