All I can say is WOW! How the heck has this restaurant received ANY bad reviews???? Are we all talking about the same restaurant? My husband and I have dined at 20 Brix several times and we love it! In fact, its one of our favorites in the city! Sure, its pricey, but that just means its not an everday restaurant...its for "special" occasions! Even just sitting at the bar is a romantic experience. Its one of the few TRUE wine bars in the city of Cincinnati and the wine selection is fantastic! The food....out of this world! We have tried several things that we normally would not order and have always been pleasantly surprised! The mushroom bruschetta is to die for, the duck pizza is amazing, and the venison is sooooo delicious! We even love to go in and just have wine and the conversation platter appetizer! So good! So whomever wrote the negative reviews must not have ANY taste because this place is a gem!

Very disappointed! The selection is limited and when the steak was not cooked correct twice there was no compensation until I said I was very disappointed. Im willing to pay for a good meal but when you dont deliver ..come on now be fair! I will not be coming back. There are other options with better value. They need to learn from bin 112 in Greer South Carolina! Check bin 112 out if youre in Greer and youll know what local fine dining is all about. The quality of their steak is better than Ruth Chris and their mussels in a butter cream sauce is to die for.

I really want to like this place, but 3 visits and 3 fair-to-bad food experiences. The wine by the glass selection is amazing, but...crab cakes were fishy (suspect tuna was added) and definitely no lumps like waitress promised, salmon was bland, lamb was bland, shrimp and grits were overcooked and swimming in something like grit soup. Service is uneven. Chef does a great job of getting the texture right, but food tastes bland. Also, seems like they are trying to save on food costs, which doesnt match up with menu pricing. Very sad.

We went to 20 Brix for lunch and the food was very overpriced. The arugula salad and the roasted vegetables needed salt and pepper and still were very bland. The waiter spent so much time talking with another table and paid no attention to us. I have been to 20 Brix before and the food was good but I will not be going back for lunch every. Maybe the dinner menu and service is better.

Excellent service, longest wine list in the city, food never disappoints! We have eaten here 6+ times, it has become our go to when we want a quality meal and atmosphere but dont want to drive downtown. The staff is always warm and caring and ready to talk about wine and make recommendations...weve even learned from their wine som from several informative conversations, he is terrific!

The wine list is great. The food is not worth the price. My winter welcome salad had pieces of the lettuce "core" in it. My crab cakes were burnt on the bottom - the oil was obviously too hot. The risotto appetizer was the best part of our meal; and sadly, our waitress never asked how we liked our food. Would go back for wine and an appetizer, but thats about it.

We have been to 20 brix three times now and every time I am impressed with the staff! I could talk about how wonderful the food is but, a lot of places have good food. What really makes this place special is the helpfulness and kindness of the staff. It makes all the difference when you are dealing with a wine selection as extensive as theirs!

The service was outstanding, very attentive and knowledgeable. But there were a lot of little things that really werent so great. Dirty glasses and silverware, wasnt overly impressed with the menu or the food. Seemed some things were over cooked while others were undercooked. The overall concept was good but not the delivery.

My wife just spent $80 on her meal plus there were two others with her. She was enjoying a night out with an out of town friend. They had been there about two hours. The manager came to their table and asked them to leave - they were busy and needed the table. WTF!

Wonderful first experience at 20 Brix. Walked in on Friday night without a reservation and was promptly seated outside. Beautiful setting, and the food was perfect! Only one criticism. initial greeting by a server took too long, but after that was ok.

I once had the best food Ive ever eaten in my life here. Duck sausage. All other food Id had up until that point was suddenly just sustenance. The menu is seasonal and is ever changing (the duck sausage waits for me somewhere over the rainbow

Its going to be pricy, but the food and environment are equally eclectic. Found the wine to be an excellent selection and the beer list is the best in town. Fun place to try something new. Great tunes throughout restaurant to boot.

What a perfect lunch. White bolognese with shredded pork vs typical beef was out of his world! They also have a perfect fried chicken sandwich and a stellar, accessible wine list. Beautiful place with wonderful outdoor seating!

I never got a seat, not that the place was packed but because I was not dressed well enough in casual business attire. Maybe I just look to young, not sure but after trying twice and being turned away twice Ill never be back.

The crab cake slider and French fries were not hot which detracted from my experience. Server was knowledgeable and experienced but too busy to bring out the food. A co-worker was helpful.

Outstanding wine bar. Meals are creative and very well prepared. Portion sizes are smallish, but right if you get appetizer and desert. The classiest atmosphere for dining on Main Street.

Arived smiling - departed with a frown - poor service - unfriendly - stingy wine pours at $12 a glass - give me a break - never again - small town mentality

Lovely dinner beside grape-leaved railing, affording seclusion from street. Quiet, almost mystical. Crabcakes, Pimiento cheese, lamb meatballs...superb!
