This had to be the most horrifying experience I have had at a supposedly "upscale" restaurant in my life! The service was worse than horrible! After several calls to make, confirm, and clarify mix-ups concerning reservations, there was STILL a mix-up when we arrived and we STILL had NO RESERVATION and NO TABLE for my Aunts birthday dinner. Once we decided to go ahead and wait 20 minutes to be seated (BIG MISTAKE!), the hostess came to us and said that she had a table on the stage and that was the best she could do (with attitude, as if she was doing us a favor, to add to our inconvenience)! Once we were seated near the BLARING speakers, we had to speak to a manager and request compensation for our inconvenience, which was almost non-existent. We ordered appetizers and entrees from our waitress. After an hour or more of waiting, we finally caught the attention of our waitress, as she promptly served other tables, to ask the ETA of our food. She replied (with much attitude of course) ITS COMING! THEYRE GETTING IT NOW! We finally get our COLD FOOD and because we are all starving we begrudgingly eat the cold, bland, tasteless, overpriced food. Our waitress brings our tickets and my price is higher than the price on my menu. Needless to say, they had given us a mixture of menus with old and new prices. They did honor the price of the menu with the lowest price and adjusted the food price accordingly, yet charged the same gratuity as the higher-priced ticket, which was at a percentage rate that the waitress tried to convince me of but couldnt quite explain. To add insult to injury, we had been told we had to wear black & white because they were also hosting the owners birthday party. I guess impressing the owners birthday party guests was more of a concern for the Museum Bar than the service, or lack thereof, provided to potential repeat guests. We are always looking for a night spot with good food, good service and good live entertainment for birthday celebrations. Needless to say, Museum Bar will not be one of them. I am thoroughly disappointed and agree with a previous critic when he said this establishment is "trying too hard to be what its not." I am aware that no one is perfect, but the reservation mix-up could have been fixed with something as simple as a little thing called "customer care." The one star I gave was for the excellent customer service provided by the gracious and informative valet attendant.

Went to an open mic event on Sunday Jan 31 that I was invited to mostly all the few artists was rappers I was to sing , the person who plays the music for you was drunk up there doing it he quickly tried to plug my phone up to aux cord for my instrumental and told me it didnt work and cut the music back up on me I was mad because I knew it worked and I wanted to perform my Adele song so I waited and asked him to try it again when he did it worked so I went to grab mic and started talking then music stopped then he gon say it dont work and straight cut me off and wasnt worried Im like how it worked then stopped SMH I feel just because I was about to sing he didnt want to hear it because he was too turnt and drunk to let me showcase my talent Im very mad about this because I had built up confidence and it was knocked down by unorganized ppl and their lack of real music interest and nobody there in management that night stepped in to see what the problem was at all Im an artist ita an open mic why not be worried about the performing artists, I just auditioned for Americas got talent and I kno I made it waiting on that next step phone call and when I make it in going back to that place and pack it out and bring this horrible story up so it can never happen to anyone again, singers need to be heard to

I bought a VIP ultimate experience ticket from eventbrite for $22.09 (no wait, no line, hassle free entry, and access to all areas of the venue) for Nightmare@Museum. Still had to wait in the line because they wanted to get the people who had $20 to skip first. After that two of my friends and I who had VIP were going in and got ORANGE bands symbolizing were VIP. So we go in and after a while it was good until idk who changed up the color of VIP bands which went from PURPLE to ORANGE and would cost an extra $10. So my friend goes to a promoter to ask them if we could switch over no charge since we are VIP. Then one of the security guards just pushes him for idk what reason while he was talking to the promoter. To sum it all up dont pay for VIP if you do go unless you getting a section w/ a bottle. Its not worth going anymore unless someone you know is actually throwing/hosting a party there.

Some friends and we walked into this beautiful place to have a birthday dinner. 1/14/12, the server came and took our appetizer order I asked for an entree and was told I had to wait to order an entree which was interesting the lack of good service continued for an hour when we finally received our cold food. Yes I said cold the food was cold after an hour of waiting. needless to say it wasnt good either. The hostess also stated that the manager wasnt in at 9:50pm on a Saturday night. the server even told me if I had an issue she didnt have to be the one I spoke with we could have spoken with any of the waitstaff for help mainly because I needed water and for the 2 hours we were there, I only had one glass that sat empty for over an hour. Smh! I would tell you not to waste youre time or money on this place. Unmanaged, with incompetent servers.

The Museum Bar is very posh, unique place! I went on a Friday night with a good guy friend of mine. The atmosphere was awesome some old school jams playing in the background. The venue itself is something to admire with the artwork on the wall and the lighting. It would be a great place to have a first date my friend and I both agreed. I got to look at the whole venue because I was scoping out places to have my 30th bday party. It has a bottom floor that looks like it could be a club with a large bar and stage. The food was so-so but the prices are good (for so-so food!). Overall, I really liked it and would definitely have a group of my girls meet there to chat it up!

We had our Mom a surprise Birthday Party there on Feb.18th, my sister and I loved everything about the place, it suited our mother so well. Needless to say she loved it, it was amazing. We were at the top balcony area, we had our own hostesses and bartender along with the Chef, who was a charm! His food was delicious. Everyone was very professional and hospitable. Everything about the place was nice, they even got us a DJ! We love love loved the place... Only thing wrong, it rained so we didn't get to use the outside balcony, where the view is just beautiful!
