Food has went down recently, and the service is not far behind. Went in October 25, 2014 around 3:30PM. A testament to how the food has become mainstream ... there were only about 20 tables filled. When I first went there 5 years ago, the place would be PACKED and you would have to wait to be seated. We first got a Veggie Combo and some Peach Lemonade. The Veggie Combo was ok, but is very bland now. At least it was hot, temperature wise. We then ordered some combos and the food tasted like some Captain Ds we had the night before. That was pretty disappointing when we came to that conclusion. Yet, what has made me write the review is the service. The women at the front have gotten to the point where they dont greet you any more. We sat down, were served, and got our appetizers. Service was decent until then, but then she started to disappear until one of the people from the back brought our entrees. By the time I was in the middle of taking a third bite, the waitress had already brought our bill. Really ... already brought the bill. I guess she was too busy to want to serve people all the way because she had already moved on to the next table. I then had to flag her down to give me a box for my food and refill my empty drink. We then proceeded to walk out and didnt get as much as a look as we walked out. The women at the front desk were too busy talking in a big group about nothing like the waitresses to notice. I guess I dont pay two times as much as Captain Ds or Long Johns to get no acknowledgment in or out of the establishment. Update, 10/16/2016 went back. Same garbage. Amy is garbage. Update 2/12/2017 Shawn is WONDERFUL! ASK FOR HER BY NAME! And make sure to tip her well... she does this as well as it can be done. Also, food has went back to great except the baked sweet potatoes and the green beans.

They have a large variety of seafood options which was very good. I was pleased with the fact that 1lb of crab legs was three clusters! I have been some places where a pound varied a lot. I did not dine in and opted to use the carry out service. My order was completed and brought to the counter by a waitress....the three cashiers that were standing there walked pass my food as if they didnt see and continued to talk to each other and replenish the cole slaw behind the counter. When I got home I just wanted to relax and enjoy my food. Crab legs were still warmed and looked delicious. I eat crab legs faithfully and I could tell from the first crab leg when trying to crack it that not only had they been overcooked...they were old! Crab legs are supposed to snap when trying to crack them...these legs were so rubbery that instead of a crack I struggled to tear them open. The taste was horrible. It not only had the taste of the "dead man"...it was a very nasty indistinguishable taste...just know never again will I spend my money here!

Bay Breeze is average in a city of typically less-than-average fare. It has mostly fried seafood and "Sunday-in-the-country" type of fare though for the most part it all tastes pretty much the same. Various country style sides are available as well as the obligatory sweet tea which doesnt really measure up. Overall, its worth a visit if you like fried catfish, fries and slaw or fried chicken with potatoes, etc. You get the idea. Dont get too excited though, because as previously mentioned its just average. Pricing is also average so that makes upf ro some of the sting. Good luck.

Great for the whole family! My family and I were at Six Flags when the rain came in, I jumped on the phone to find out where we could eat around the area to let ATL traffic die down, when I found Bay Breeze. It was fantastic, the salt and peper batter, the huspupies, shrimp, oysters, and the deviled crab all delicious. The staff was very nice, place was clean, and the food was great. Reccomend to hungry people because the portions are huge. My son and I split one of the larger platters. If I am ever remotely close, I will come back.

The food is terrible unless you like it fried. The stuffed crab meat is nothing but bread!!! The fried shrimp is not real jumbo, its regular sized shrimp. It seems that the people that like this place dont know real seafood. I grew up on the Jersey Shore, and the The Chesapeake Bay where the food is caught right in your back yard. So I know real seafood. This is not one of the places you want to go if youre used to the real thing!!

I very rarely leave reviews. The establishment has to either be very bad or very good. This evening my husband and I came in celebrating our anniversary. The atmosphere was very good, the wait staff was attentive without being in our way constantly and the food was excellent. The portions were huge, money well spent, even the appetizers were large. We left very satisfied and with full to go boxes. I very much recommend eating here.

If you want some decent seafood for your bucks this place is it. Jumbo shrimp, a variety of fish and a super huge portion of crab legs. In fact I have to get crab legs whenever I visit this place. Very comfortable family oriented place. I have been to all of their locations and they are consistent. Favorite appetizer is the Calamari. Huge servings at this place. Love it.

The waitress sade was amazing! She made my first experience great. I had the broiled scallops with fried tilapia and catfish. The portions were good. I would say the scallops are the best i have had.... Along with the tatar sauce. I usually do not eat it, but I tired it and its delicious. I would say the only thing i didnt like was the catfish i had. It was very gritty.

Sunday after the church crowd arrived on FATHERS DAY! Expected to have to wait and they would be frazzled! Seated in 20 mins...our waitress, Nickie, greeted us immediately and took our drink and appetizer orders...she was sooo busy but never missed a beat and was so gracious/smiling! Food was awesome!!!! Atmosphere happy and charming! :) Love Bay Breeze Mableton

Ive been to the Bay Breeze restaurants in Lovejoy and Mableton, GA several times. Service is always very good. I always receive hot food. Not a quiet place, but I love going to this restaurant when I want good & huge portions of seafood at an excellent price. Fried seafood is their speciality although they do serve broil items as well.

We received very good friendly service on our visit during lunch on a week day. The food was prepared as ordered and with minimal wait time. This was my 1st visit to this location. I liked how the restaurant ensured customer satisfaction by having a floater server that offered assistance where needed.

Some of the best seafood in town if you go sit down to eat its super great and good service ...the take out is not great the take out is on the far left and its a small room and they just want to get you out the door asap so they there a little short with you but the food makes up for it
