We live in the neighborhood and would love to support Trackside, but Trackside doesnt seem to want our business so we wont be going back. Weve been a few times recently and each time have had the same experience when attempting to order food at the bar (there is no table service so we were following instructions at the table to place orders at the bar). Each time the same female bartender first ignored us for awhile then finally sauntered over and just stared at us, saying nothing. Each time we would ask for menus and she would reluctantly throw a couple on the counter, still saying nothing. We brought a friend tonight and he was dumbfounded by how rude she was. When he ordered, she just gave him a dirty look and said "ok" sarcastically as she turned her back to us. It was as if we were imposing on her and insulting her with our mere presence. She continued to ignore us while chatting it up with other patrons at the bar. Ironically, we spent a decent amount of money there and were treated like pariahs while the drunk, obnoxious couple at the bar got her full attention. Maybe they were regulars and we didnt look hip enough for her taste. We really have no idea what it is about us that she finds so offensive (our clothes, our age?) but tonight was the last straw. Its like this every time we go and shes the bartender. Why would we continue to spend money there? Enough is enough. Not recommended. The service at Marlay, Brick Store, Twains (and really most other places in the entire world) is much friendlier (ie: they dont act like they want you to leave as soon as you walk in).

A semi regular here. Always surprised how good the food is, try the blue plate, its worth it. The staff is friendly. They stay busy, so youll have to be a regular to build any report with the staff. But they have pool tables, darts, air hockey, a juke box, ok variety of beer. Pretty chill, with a descent mix of crowed , very alternative crowd and staff. As stated in my previous post, if you plan on eating, come well before the kitchen closes, because theyll close it down early without exception. Previous review: Waited around 20 minutes to place my order, kitchen staff told me as long as I placed by 2 Im good. Tried to place order before 2 and bartender stated that they are closed early. I stated that the kitchen staff had told me I can order by 2, and the bartender proceeded to state that it doesnt matter what the kitchen staff says, the bartenders have the final say, and they closed early. As I was walking out, I noticed the kitchen staff was busy preparing food, not cleaning up or closing down. I use to be a regular. Now Im a former.

Had a great time thanks to a really nice bartender. It went south when the other bartender, who had not served me all night and did her best to avoid me, told me to leave for no good reason. Then when I told her she was the worst bartender I have ever seen, the owner ( boyfriend) told me he was going to beat me up. I was a bartender for 12 years and know how to conduct myself in a bar environment. I was beside myself when these people told me to leave. Unprofessional and lousy.

Is it Sunday at midnight in Atlanta or have you just been told that its last call in Fulton County? Well then its time to head to Trackside that is regularly open until 4am and 3am on Saturdays and Sundays. As you can imagine, the late night crowd can be a bit entertaining but over all it is a great bar with decent beer list and friendly bar staff. Its not Tracksides fault who decides to show up late but I wouldnt bring my girlfriend or tell my parents I went there.

If you dont know the bartenders by name...dont waste your time. My fiancé and I arrived and sat down at the bar with about 10 other seats available. We sat there for about 10 minutes as both bartenders avoided eye contact and served only the ones that they knew. So we got up and left and ended up at The Square Pub in downtown Decatur with great service, drinks and food. Avoid this craphole.

They have surprisingly good food for a late night bar. Trivia night is awesome. Plenty of darts and games if thats what youre into. This was our "go-to" bar. I havent had any trouble with the bartenders as mentioned in other reviews, and I dont know if I would go as far as calling myself a "regular". You cant please everyone I guess. Ive never left here unsafisfied.

Trackside has cheap drinks, good food, and a pleasant neighborhood atmosphere. Plus they have pool and darts, and a rear patio that is convenient if you are a smoker. The artwork and decorations around the bar are humorous and lighthearted. Bartenders are professional, quick, and fun to interact with.

Came for trivia night which is done well and a lot of fun. Turkey burger was surprisingly great with a lot of flavor. Staff here was pretty unattentive and ignored us for a good 10 minutes while we tried to cash out. No bueno. No more. Better bars and service out there.

Went there last night to have a few beers as soon as I got to the bar I was served nice place that stays open on a Sunday night late. The regulars were a bit intimidating but then again so am I lol Ill definitely be back!

Trackside Tavern is an institution. Great people, food, and drinks. Maybe the best juke box in the city. You have to check out Team Trivia on Tuesday nights at 7:30.
