Great service and atmosphere with delicious food and drinks. If you are eating in the Tucker area, you have to eat at Local 7. Food 5/5 I have never had anything here that wasnt absolutely delicious. I always seem to gravitate toward the Little John burger though (egg and bacon burger) and add lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, onions, and garlic aioli mayo. Saturdays are special: smoked ribs and chicken are made all day with limited quantities in the evening. Cocktails are also on point (I suggest the Apple Crusher - ginger beer, Bushmill whiskey, apple juice, and a lime). Building 5/5 The décor and atmosphere of the restaurant is a perfect addition to Main Street Tucker. It feels like a local bar/pub but is well-maintained and clean when you eat or drink there. Large booths are available for 6-8 person parties while the two-tops and high tables can be kept solo or pushed together. Service 5/5 If the food and atmosphere dont get you, the service will. All staff are very attentive and helpful. If you need anything, the servers and hosts are on it. The bartenders are always churning out great cocktails and freshly-poured beers for the bar and the whole dining room. Cooks take care to prepare exactly what you want and how you want it, but quickly too. I have been there more times than I can count and have never once heard the irritated words, "can I speak to your manager?" It just does not happen at Local 7.

4 Stars. Better than your average bar, for sure, hands down. There are some real gems on the menu, and a few flops. At least they are making a good attempt and not subscribing to the same old wings and burgers menu...although they DO have burgers, and mighty tasty burgers at that. I have a difficult complaint - they have a wide selection of beer...however, many a night the best they have going is New Belgium. I get it, and cant complain too loudly, since most places never get better than a Sam Adams. About 1 in 5 visits, they offer something else that gets me going. Could easily be that I dont drink whatever wheat beer and lager is on tap too... The bottom line is that I go, and take the kids sometimes too. It winds up costing about $75 for the 3 or 4 of us to eat and have a couple beers. A bit pricey, but its not Applebees!

I was so disappointed tonight. I love this place and take the kids to watch the trains from the deck. Today we walked in and the boys ran outside to watch a train going by. We watched 2 trains pass this evening and no one came to the table. I made eye contact with 2 servers and a groupe of employees getting off shift were on the patio with us. This could be a case of its me not them, but I have never experienced apathy from this fine establishment before. I am sad to write this but was pretty angry at the time. We are now across the street at Mattews and they are loving dinner and being doted on by the amazing Staff here. I can not bring myself to rate the Local no 7 lowered than 2 stars, as I have always loved it here, since they opened. Todays experience was abysmal.

Ate there once, they had quite good wings but only do ribs twice a week so never got to try them as every other time I have gone there I have had to leave because of super slow service, again today. Really, if people must be so sloth-like, at least make an effort to get customers their first drink. 3 out of 4 attempts, Ive just given up and driven around to somewhere on Jimmy carter. I estimate the 3 times that I spent about $150 and I know I am not the only one so they must be turning away a lot of potential business. If I was the owner Id be cracking heads or getting new staff, especially the dark haired chick with glasses as she is both slow and a poor communicator.

It may be bar food mostly, but this is great food not greasy mess. I say mostly also because some of the menu items at times have been kind of gourmet-ish, especially considering that it is a bar type place. I have been there several times. I love it, but my husband is not really a fan (he doesnt like bar food at all). The service at times has been awesome... other times not so hot. I have taken my kids almost every time I have gone... it is definitely a neighborhood hang-out and friendly that way. Just be sure to get a table if you have a highchair aged child because it is almost impossible to reach one in their booths.

Finally found some good Fish and Chips. Actual fish.. not something that looks like fried pickles. I have had a few issues the 2 times Ive been. 1st time, I was told, after a 40 minute wait, that a fryer was down. 2nd time.. my ticket got lost.. so I had another 40 plus min. wait. So... if youre in a hurry... you might want to order something OTHER than fish and chips. I was told.. Im not cursed... so Ill have to try again.. when I have plenty of time.

Nice little find in Tucker. The menu was a varied and interesting selection of pub grub. The portions were appropriate, not huge, but you wont be hungry. All the food was well prepared and quite good. There was a pretty good selection of beer on tap and bottles. The mixed drinks looked good, but werent tried. Its a good bar, with a better than average kitchen. If youre not careful, it could be a habit.

We sat at a high top for a little too long with no service. Then we moved to the bar, still waited an aditiinal five minutes before we were offered anything. Sunday afternoon... I cant imagine what the wait would be if they were crowded. The appetizers were good. The drinks finally arrived. DO NOT SIT AT THE HIGH TOP NEXT TO THE MUSIC MACHINE. YOU BECOME INVISIBLE.

The food is always very good. Sometimes they are a little understaffed, but the wait time is usually surprisingly timely and served with a smile. My husband and I mainly eat there for dinner, sometimes Sunday brunch, but my husband and his business partner often get takeout for lunch. Be sure to go for smoked ribs or brisket most Thursdays, but save some for me!

Best Cuban sandwich Ive eaten in my entire life! Pressed to crispy perfection, loads of meat, perfect sourness in the pickles and sauce. Served hot. Deliciousness embodied. The side was a whole bag of Tater Tots, which was a huge waste of food. They were crispy, but seriously, it was an entire plate full. 1/4 as many would have made a decent side.

We went for lunch today. Place was packed at 12:30 but we only had to wait a few minutes for a table. I had Brunswick stew and a side salad. Stew was good, it was mostly a bowl of meat, good flavor. It did take a little bit to get our food but i would go back. Looks like they have lots of draft beer and they rotate them out periodically.

Ok so from reading some of the reviews, it seems like its not me , the service is kind of slow. Ive gone on 3 occasions, brunch dinner and lunch and each time the service was slow. The food is good but the slow service is a turn off for me. Probably wont be my go to restaurant in Tucker unless the service gets better.
