Ive been coming here for years. It is consistently good bque. Yes, like other reviews, the sauce is vinegar base and I dont think they have other options but I havent asked either. If you want to eat bque sandwiches, the best way (in my opinion) is to get the bque plate that comes with pulled pork, cold slaw, and Brunswick Stew. Then ask for couple of buns. By do so, this will easily make a couple sandwiches and of course is the less expensive route to go. Hope this information helps :)))) Update 08/15/17 I got the Combination Platter and it was superb!!!! I do highly recommend this place.

When I moved to the South, I expected that every local shack would have great barbeque, but I was so often disappointed by the tasteless offerings that Id pretty much given up on the idea. Old Brick Pit Barbeque is fantastic. We buy in bulk--the shaved pork and the sauce in particular (the ribs are great but cost more)--I hear great things about the Brunswick Stew although I dont eat it so cant give a recommendation. Often when Im picking some up, I run into other customers at the counter who have been coming there for decades--the place does inspire loyalty!

Been meaning to try it for a while (I live nearby) and finally took the plunge yesterday. A full rack of ribs, a pound of pork, and 3 sides were $53, which felt expensive - until I got it all home and realized how huge their rack of ribs was, and the fact that (with some potatoes and extra sauce at one meal and leftover sides at another) Im feeding 3 adults 3 meals out of that. Meat falls off the bone on the ribs, the potato salad is deliciously sweet, and the coleslaw is finely shredded and high-quality. Excited to try the cobbler next visit!

Met my boyfriend here since its roughly halfway between our offices. Its really great! The food comes up FAST - almost before I had finished signing my receipt! The sauce is vinagery and flavorful. To me, a vinegar-based bbq sauce is a very delicate mixture and I am often wary of them. This one was fantastic! The Brunswick stew that comes as a side is really very good, especially with some of the sauce mixed in. I also loved the sweet tea - just enough sweet, and made strong with real tea. Try it out!

This is simply southern BBQ at its best. I will be brief as not to bore you less is more. The portions are small for the cost but the food is absolutely the best the young lady that takes your orders at the register is always smiling and very accommodating when standing in line my first time there the customers were all talking about how good their BBQ & sides are, I will agree with another post the bread is very stale. I go out of my way to eat here.

Old Brick Pit is good BBQ. This is one of the few true old GA BBQ places left anywhere. The pork is cooked well with perfect amount of smoke. The sauce is a terrific vingegary/peppery mixture. Brunswick stew is good and contains only the stuff that it should. Sandwiches are small but that is they have always been made in GA BBQ places - like on old Colonial hamburger buns - because that is what was available when this sandwich was perfected.

Pig-N-CHICK 10X Better!!!!! I have had better service from the food counter at COSTCO for the Hotdog meal and drink for 1.50!!! was not worth it at ALL!!!!! 2 Thumbs DOWN!!!!

This is some good ol style BBQ, reminds me of low-country pit. I know it is not for everyone but it works for me and I think it is a definite value too. The sauce has some tang and a lot of flavor to it and the cole-slaw is on the spot with a little pepper. Plus the place looks the part, which always helps. Worth a visit if you are in the area.

Truly deserving of all the accolades given as one of Georgias best bbq spots. Ive been coming here for about 20 years and the meat, whether chicken or ribs is delicious and fall off the bone with that perfect dry rub complimented by the vinegar type sauce. Love the food, love the people and their always warm service.

Pork was delicious, theres sauce was mediocre and the bake beans slightly above average. My biggest disappointment is the portion sizes. There prices likely reflect the fact youll receive 1/4 cup sides. However for the money theres better BBQ to be had in area. I recommend Memphis BBQ in Sandy Springs.

I will go out of my way to eat here. The ribs are about the best in town and the stew is also the best! I also love their coleslaw fresh, crisp, slightly tangy. Pulled pork is good but I give it 3-4 stare instead of 5. The pulled pork sandwich is awesome, juicy and tender.

Love the location and the feel of the restaurant. BBQ was good, but my test is always the sauce and the Brunswick area. Sauce was pretty vinegar-y and the stew was just ok. Again, the BBQ was great, but the sauce just didnt do it for me. Great sweet tea though.

The BBQ isnt half bad, the Brunswick stew is nice, the sauce is good... So why the dislike? I have gotten stale bread there on multiple occasions and rancid coleslaw. Overall decent BBQ, but too many bad food experiences here. I would NOT recommend this place.

I came looking for good barbecue and got half service, small portions, an attitude and everything was unacceptable. The Hispanic girl name was Eeka and she is awful in service and the way she handled me I will never be back to this place

They have great side items but the BBQ chicken was very dry. The staff are very nice. Facility is clean. Brunkwick stew is the best. The coleslaw is yummy. I had requested a cup of water and it tasted like salt water.

Excellent BBQ if you like vinegar style sauce. My wife prefers the BBQ chicken served with cole slaw. I highly recommend the baked beans with either pork or chicken. The ribs are not the best item on the menu.

Hope youre not hungry--portions here are VERY small! Pulled-pork sandwich was the size of a slider and the bar-bq sauce reminded me of spaghetti-os..YUCK! Next time Im going another 1/2 mile to Pig-n-Chick.

I have been going here for years. I absolutely love their BBQ sauce and the quality of pork is amazing. The sandwiches may be a bit small but they put a lot of meat on it. I would definitely recommend.

Excellent pulled pork. The BBQ sauce is more tangy than sweet. The outside seating is great for some no-frills BBQ. Ill be back.

This is a very cozy restaurant. You can smell the cooking before you get out of your car. Prices are reasonable too.

Old school and very tasty ribs, the meat just felt off of the bone with no resistance, also cole slaw is rock...
