I went for the grand opening. The place is really nice and spacious. Their beers were average, but they had a solid guest tap list. I ordered the tuna tacos and some sashimi. The tacos had very nice cuts of tuna on them, but the flavor was completely overpowered by the bitter greens. The sashimi was excellent, but a touch pricey for the amount you get. I also got to try the ramen, which was very good. The staff was good at first, but inattentive by the second half of the visit. This was most likely due to it being their grand opening and the large influx of people that came in later, so I cant knock them for that. They were very friendly the entire time. Overall, this place is really promising. Other dishes I saw at different tables looked really good and have me wanting to come back to try them. Their beer needs a little work still, but the guest tap list is good.

One star simply because I went in to inquire about gluten free options and was met with a very rude manager that told me everything on their menu has gluten in it- including their drinks. I understand cross contamination issues when dining out and that finding food without gluten at an Asian centered restaurant (and one thats also a brewery to boot) can be difficult, but if you dont understand what that food allergy is and plain just dont care to take a few minutes to see if said customer can be accommodated, you have no business being in the restaurant business. Such a shame because their cocktails look great, but I cannot even enjoy those as even their liquor apparently has gluten (ha!).

Got to say Im super excited to have found this place! I dont normally post or review, especially to say I found my new favorite spot. The beer they brew here is dope. Had a flight and all were pretty good! Fav is Outside The Norm. Food is amazing!!! They make sushi right! If you dont know what you want, just ask the staff. Calvin was very helpful and enthusiastic about serving us this amazing dinner. Its refreshing to find people that care about their food and how their customers enjoy the entire experience. I was blown away on the detail of the beer, food, and service. Funny that I have plenty of foodie friends that havent found this place yet. Cant wait to come back!

Went for dinner tonight with friends. We had reservations for 6:30, but it wasnt crowded when we arrived; however, it was crowded when we left around 8:30. Still no wait (Cinco de mayo, though!). The service, food, and beer were all exceptional. This is a gem in Chamblee! Good selection of craft beer, their own and other locals. Tried their pale ale and porter. Both solid. Started with sushi corndog for an appetizer, chicken nuggets, and grilled peppers. All delicious. I had the vegan and kamakazi sushi rolls for dinner and husband had the ramen. We had the special fig cheesecake for dessert. This place is good. We will definitely be back!

Like finding a $100 bill in an empty parking lot... todays grand opening is a welcome gem to Atlantas restaurant landscape. Boasting a cozy eat hall feel... exploding with blonde found wood tabletops and amble seatage... this eatery dances on the Asian side of the food spectrum, but with distinctly American punctuations that compliment vs. bullies ones culinary expectations. The healthy will rejoice in the fact that there are numerous raw dishes to seduce ones hunger. Moreover, there is a street food quotient as well in the form of every crossfitters favorite... skewered meats with quite a few sides of veggies to choose from.

This place is absolutely wonderful! They really changed my mind about alot of food. I was never a fan of sushi or spicy things, but holy cow everything they make is just great! Its so cool to be able to see all the chefs in action through the big window. And they make their own beer?!?! Im not a huge beer person so its really nice that i can get a half pour of their delicious beers and still enjoy it without paying for a huge glass that im not going to finish. Everyone is so friendly and the atmosphere is great. Im so glad I found this place. Everyone should give it a try sometime!

Went last night with a group of friends. Started out sitting at the bar until everyone arrived. Bartender was attentive, beer was tasty. Even though their beers arent ready yet, they had a good selection of local beer and offer half-pours as well as full-pours. Once seated, we ordered from the appetizer menu and kept doing that until we were all satisfied. We shared tempura squash (Japanese pumpkin), a Dirty Bird roll, Robatayaki chicken & fried chicken. All were very tasty and the sauces were unique. I plan to return for the grand opening.

Oh my goodness. I just went to this place, and its just amazing, everything was so flavorful! So much better than I expected, really excited to come back. Everyone was so nice and helpful, if you get the skewers dont forget to add the himalayan salt and lime! Met one of the owners too, Amy is so sweet. Cant wait to try the house brew and everything else. Our server Kevin was the greatest, everything was so beautifully presented. Such a wonderful experience, on a whim for dinner. I would give them 100 stars if I could!

The freshest food Ive had in Atlanta. I love the food so much I went there 2x in one week and I live 30 miles away from this restaurant. If you want salty or greasy food, this place is not for you but if you crave for food that is prepared with care, give Hopstix a try. The robata grilled duck is delish. If you love sushi and sashimi like I do and cant decide what do get, let chef Donny surprise you. Some of the pictures I uploaded are not on the menu.

Parking was absolutely horrible. All of the (20) spaces are angled but its a one way. So, the best way to get out is to go backwards which is very inconvenient. The food was horrible. I had the infamous king crab fried rice which tasted like crunchy leftover fried rice with tasteless crab thrown on top. Beer was decent. I will give them a second chance and try out something from the robata grill....and Uber there ;)

The thing that sticks out most about this place is the hospitality and that starts from the top with the Chef of the restaurant, Donny. Hes goes above and beyond every time Im in the restaurant to make sure the food is perfect and my experience is as well. Food is killer! They are always switching up the menu and the beer and drinks cant get any more fresh seeing that they brew it in the back of the restaurant

Exceeded my expectations. Amazing house beer, good selection for local beers, and amazing food. Tried the sliders, sake shrimp pizza, shiitake mushrooms, pork belly, and kurobuta sausage and everything was delicious. The grill they use adds this beyond amazing flavor. Owners and servers were knowledgeable with their food and beer options. Food came out fairly quick, especially with a full house.

Really enjoyed our entire experience here. All of the food was great; from the grilled pork belly to the monkfish liver and the wasabi shumai. Staff was pretty attentive, though there was a LOT of staff and some of which were standing around or crowding the line. The beer was also very good. If recommend the Golden Gate golden ale; very drinkable and refreshing. Well be back, and often.
