The prices arent bad, but its not my preferred place. 1. Too much of that stupid, stupid bar-wide trivia. I swear its there like 3 or 4 nights out of the week, and its just such drudgery. Im so tired of listening to crappy songs in between trivia questions and Im so tired of a 10 question thing taking like 2 hours. Get some NTN! 2. I think the staff is lethargic and they dont really deserve the tips they think they are ENTITLED to. I also think that the mixed drinks can taste watered down, but I like a strong drink and most of their mixed drinks are mixed tall. I guess if I didnt like Gin & Tonics it wouldnt be a big deal. 3. I think the clientele is a little too uncouth. Its as if all the lames from various fraternities and sororities all found this place by default. On various nights some kickball league swarms in like locusts and makes it virtually impossible to get served promptly. Lots of jackassery goes on here too. Overall, its not that sweet. They DO have some good outdoor seating and one particular table gives you a good view of the buckhead skyline, but other than that, its never where I prefer to go. For the record, I like places like the new restaurant where the spotted dog used to be on North, or the Bucket Shop in lennox, hudson grille, pub 71, and the grove...when there isnt trivia.

Do NOT order their burritos unless you want one that appears to have been made by a fifth grader. Horribly made with big uniform square chunks of dry chicken that tasted prepackaged, whoever put it together put all the tomatoes in one spot, all the Guac in another spot and all of the rice in another spot so it had to be taken apart to spread it and the flavor still tasted like canned food and the interior was lukewarm to boot. The flour tortilla was Doughy and tasted uncooked except for the bottom side which looked like they laid it in a frying pan to brown and harden it. Truly this reminded me of something a fifth or sixth grader would do in a cooking class using no creativity and no regard for flavors. I will say on behalf of this place that the cocktails are good and the servers are very good but they are serving food from a a kitchen that is embarrassing to even call a Mexican Cantina. Terrible waste of space in this neighborhood which could be jampacked on a Saturday if the food was a real a draw , but is not.

All out downtown bar fun without being completely downtown. I am solely speaking for weekend nights here. Some of the most adulterated fun ive had in years. Live music pretty much every night, supporting the local music scene that is thriving here in Atlanta. The staff are some of the most fun loving and eclectic group of people of any bar in Atlanta. Bar tenders, spot on. Bar tenders are one of the best judge for a place, no one likes a "D". And these guys were not "Ds", yet quick and precise with the drinks and hospitality with no judgement. Lets face it, everyone makes poor choices at bars from time to time, you dont need some punk ass bar tender judging you for it. I also had the chance to meet the owner and talk with him for a while. Such a genuine person, who has built this staple in Atlanta as well as others, and still makes his presence known and converses with guests at his establishment. All in all my top pick for January.

They NEVER answer the phone for pick-up orders. When we go, it seems like because we arent regulars, they couldnt care less about us because we arent in the "in" crowd. Most of the workers seem to high to really care about anything. Ive called them 10 times in a row to place a pick-up order and theyve never answered. It blows my mind. They just made a menu change and are trying to go more Mexican which was a terrible decision considering their burgers and wings are actually pretty good. I will never go back though because the servers act like they dont want you there and they NEVER answer the phone. If I was an owner of this place, I would probably get a phone that rang louder. You are just losing money. Ive had countless times I wanted to order a ton of wings and cant because your bartenders wont answer the phone. Its embarrassing.

I can appreciate a good dive bar and this location provided that with a rustic atmosphere and live entertainment. The food on the other hand was sub par and our server seemed distant. We ordered a Shrimp Quesadilla and (2) Burrito Plate. The shrimp quesadilla started off good, but ended horribly. The last two slices had all the ingredients in overload with no shrimp. A great quesadilla is when the ingredients are spread out evenly so that every slice is consistent. This one did not make the mark. The Burrito Plate was downright nasty to me but my husband ate it. It was below bland and nothing could bring the burritos to life. Needless to say, I loved the atmosphere but I will not return for that reason alone.

They have some pretty awesome bands. Sometimes not so good. But usually Saturday and Sunday has good bands. Not too sure on the Mexican menu but they wings are great. Sweet Georgia honey brown flavor is good. Only "Mexican" food I had there was southwestern eggs rolls. Theyre great. That said I dont go there for Mexican. I go there to drink listen to music and eat wings. Service xan be a little lacking but if youre a recognized regular or sitting at the bar service is fine. Dont go there looking for elegance. Its a bar. They also have ping pong tables, corn hole and Im sure you can play beer pong.

Great atmosphere, delicious and inexpensive food, and fun crowd! The servers are courteous and attentive - they always seem busy but take time with you and ensure you are happy with your order. I enjoy playing CornHole outside in the gravel area. I even bring my dog with me - and he is allowed on the patio. Try the chicken taco with jalapeno ranch + pimento cheese + coleslaw. I also enjoy their grilled chicken quesadilla. Its amazing and cheap! Also - be sure to check out the 50% discount you can use for your first visit on the ScoutMob app!

This place specializes in loud, trite and faux-cool. It is a good place to go if you want to scream clichés at top volume or whoop and hoop for no particular reason other than to announce that you have arrived and are something to behold. There is nothing cheap about the joint. It is the kind of place where a tattoo can launch a bar-wide discussion that stretches for decibels and goes on forever. During the World Cup, you could not keep count with the number of employees and patrons who proclaimed soccer to be a faggy game.

My fiance and I were craving Mexican food, so we stopped at a random place that we had never been to before. Turned out to have a more bar-like atmosphere, but not in a bad way (just more adult atmosphere than a place for kids). Our server was very attentive, but did not bother us too much. The drinks and food came out very promptly, and the food was spectacular! I was pleasantly surprised by the food quality - very tender and juicy, and very flavorful. All over pleasant experience.
