I guess the old saying that, “Fact is stranger than Fiction” is really true. As I write this review, it sounds almost too bad to believe that it really happen. Unfortunately, this is all factual. I took my Children to this Ruby Tuesday location on Sunday evening. It was around 6:45 p.m. and the restaurant was, at best, 25% full. We were seating immediately, although it took at least 5 minutes before our server came by. As soon as we were seated, we placed our order for dinner and drinks. I had a table of full of hungry kids and I had been to this location two weeks earlier on a busy Saturday night and the service was pretty slow. It took at least 10 minutes for our drinks to be served. When I finally got our server’s attention, she said that she was waiting on the drinks. During this time, the table next to us was complaining about something. Our server repeatedly apologized to them. While we were waiting on the food to be served, we checked out the new and improved salad bar. While I was at the salad bar, a different employee was replenishing the selection. I asked her if there were any beets available. She angrily shook her head and looked at me like I asked the craziest question in the world. Then, my daughter literally found what looked like a human hair in her salad. We ultimately waited over an hour for our food from the kitchen to be served. I had to track down our server in the back to ask for a drink refill and ask when our food would be delivered. Throughout this dining nightmare, our server seemed to randomly disappear for 10 to 15 minutes at a time, even though there was hardly any other tables in the vicinity. The final straw and reason that I am writing this review is my experience trying to pay the check. Our server walked by and brought the check to a different table. I motioned with my hands and said, “Excuse me.” Our server literally right looked at me and walked back into the kitchen. She was gone for over 15 minutes. I asked to speak to the Manager. He apologized and said that our server was really busy. When I mentioned that his restaurant was empty, he said that she had to split up the check at another table. While I was paying, a different server was loudly complaining to the Manager that, “this is a bunch of bulls**t.” This whole dining experience took almost an hour and 45 minutes. On top of everything else, all of us feel really ill. Not sure if it is the food, the bad service, or both.

We went to Ruby Tuesday on a Tuesday to take advantage of the deal where kids eat free on Tuesdays. The food tasted fine, however we were sorely disappointed with the service -- we were stuck there for two hours due to lack of service. Its possible that they were severely understaffed. Some things that happened: - We were served a side salad with no silverware, and after we asked for silverware we were not given it. After 20 minutes of staring at our salads hungrily I had to go get someone to get silverware for us. - After about an hour of waiting for the food they realized they didnt have the squash I had ordered and I had to pick a different side. - We had to remind the waiter that we had ordered an appetizer when they brought the food. By the time we had finished our food and were ready to go the appetizer still hadnt shown up. - We ordered an alcoholic drink, which was not brought until halfway through the meal (after waiting over an hour). The drink was mostly ice. We waited there so long that we later ended up drinking the melted ice because the waiter didnt bring any water. - The bill was wrong: we were charged for a kids meal even though kids eat free on Tuesdays. Overall a very disappointing experience, and I dont recommend it unless you arent very hungry and you have lots and lots of time to wait.

Visited this Ruby Tuesday on a mall run Friday noon, and the place was almost empty with a couple booths filled. We were seated immediately and passed the menus. I eventually ordered the tilapia with grilled zucchini and broccoli. The food arrived pretty quickly. The tilapia was on the dry side and underseasoned. The zucchini, on the other hand, had a nice char to it, but was a bit on the oily side. Overall, portion size and quality was not worth the $14 I had to spend for it, so I was quite disappointed. Service too was lacking. My waiter wasnt courteous and mumbled a lot throughout my meal, not even acknowledging me whenever I say "thank you" to him. There are better Ruby Tuesday restaurants out there, so I dont recommend coming here.

Asked for 2 glasses of water. Received one. Been out 2xs now. Server running all over. No Bread!!! Salad bar was ok. Lettuce was starting to brown. Bacon bits were grease pit. Bad choice to eliminate the bread!! Probably will retire from visiting. Did get my $16 double cheesburger - but had to get a different burger then I wanted because server had no way to.punch a simple double cheesburger in the.computer. bun soggy, bacon burnt and obviously frozen meat. Have been here many times. Must have had a management.change or something Very disappointed. Not havimg.the warm.bread they discontinued about a month ago leaves you waiting. Sometimes your.hungry and just.need a little.something to take the edge off.

I used to love Ruby Tuesdays but it has def fallen off its horse. Service is bit mediocre. They used to just bring out the garlic rolls which were amazing but now you have to ask for them and the waiter makes it seem like youre putting them out. Food is always good but its seems like this will be the next restaurant on North Point to go out of business. Update 12/2/16, same ol same ol. Why are there only 3 waiters and 1 bartender. Stop being so cheap and hire more people. The food is always delicious. And speaking of cheap...my coke is full of carbonation and tastes a lot like club soda. Are your peple watering down the coke with club soda? Pretty pathetic.

Ruby Tuesday is one of the only places that I go specifically for the salad bar. Its always fresh and has some better choices like a finely chopped kale and brussel sprouts along with great homemade dressings like Cilantro lime. They have also become pretty consistent with coupons via social media, so its worth to sign up. I hope they will continue the very excellent salad bar and continue to innovate on their menu selections. I give it four stars only because of some inconsistencies when it comes to getting served in a timely manner, though for us that has improved on our last couple of visits.

Upon entering , it reminded me of a biker bar, dark and dirty . waitress was doing the best she could however the kitchen crew was not helping the situation .Wife ordered carolina chicken salad and I think they had to go to carolina to get it because it took so long and they must have cooked it in carolina because it was cold on arrival . It took 30 minutes to get a baked potato . Long story short , I will NEVER enter this place again . Sign on door when leaving , interviewing for positions , they need to start at the top and replace management . Very dissatisfied !!!!!
