I have been about 15 times since it has opened because it is close to home, cheap, and the food was really good when it first opened and there were people from the corporate office there. Not anymore! They have hired a entire new staff, everyone that works there acts like a bunch of idiots, and I always get the wrong food. And when I order the Onion rings as a side I get like 2 or 3. Really? They need to hire people that know how to give the slightest bit of good customer service as well as check the orders before people leave. All fast food places are getting horrible these days because they hire a bunch of black teens to work in them. McDonalds, Wendys, Krystal, next door to Cookout (which is rat infested) Checkers, Sonic, and Burger King on Moreland Ave. in East Atlanta are all HORRIBLE!!! Get some new employees and I may come back. I think that I am going to be eating at home from now on until the new Chick-Fil-A opens near here this fall! At least they are consistent. All of the other places around here are GROSS!

Cook Out has some of the freshest and most authentic tasting fast food around. It stands out from the other burger and fries franchises in that the food doesnt taste so fake and manufactured. Burgers (chicken and beef) taste fresh and grilled. They have a nice smoky flavor. The bun is not big and bready neither. The fries are thick-cut, served hot and crispy. Milkshakes are by far my favorite items on the menu. I love the variety offered and the seasonal limited editions. The shakes taste like genuine melted icecream. Ive tried many of the flavors, but my favorite is Hersheys chocolate. Cook Out has great portions. Whenever I eat a meal there, Im satisfied for many hours. Its fast food thats not so fast. I used to be only able to treat myself to Cook Out on road trips so I was elated to find out that they had a location in Atlanta near where I live. The location is in bit of "rough" area, but I havent seen or heard of anything happening there other than long car lines around the restaurant.

I literally just pulled away from the drivethru window where I witness the most unorganized and unprofessional shift yet at this particular location. The customer service and the sense of urgency that is usually display during the day and evening hours where no where to be found during this shift. I could have been a secret shopper or worst someone from the corporate office just popping in on the franchise. They obliviously didnt care... Their main concern was someone needing $1.50 and having the inability to run the cameras back. Mind you I only ordered two shakes an Oreo one and a banana berry (hold the bananas)... ALL OF 10 MINUTES... 10 MINUTES.. and then only to be told the gentleman who spent most of his time playing that he was just now making my shake... I live in EASY POINT,GA I DRIVE TO ATLANTA FOR A PURE FREAKSHOW... UNBELIEVEABLE... NEXT TIME IM STAYING AT HOME AND MAKING MY OWN SHAKE.

The food was ok but the service was lacking. I ordered a chocolate fudge brownie milkshake and i got some sort of graham cracker vanilla shake. I couldnt tell if it was right once i took a sip since the top was on. Of course i thought you cant screw up a milkshake order. Then i ordered chicken tenders with a chicken wrap. The tenders had too much batter and were so small. Then i opened my wrap and its just a tender in a wrap. Also they didnt even provide us with utensils, I had to go back and ask for them and there was none available on any of the counters. The fries were good and yes the chicken themselves were good too, but it was more of a let down. So many of my friends talked about how great this eatery is and it was a disappointment.

I was eating dinner this evening when I saw a young lady enter with her cookout food, I saw her outside earlier and she appeared to be homeless, anyways she sat down to eat and when she went to counter to ask for a water I overheard the young, white, glasses wearing male say when he thought he was out of ear-shot. "The homeless girl wants a water." And then he laughed. I found it to be extremely rude and disrespectful. I know Cookout would not condone this type of behavior. If youre ever in this cookout, be kind to those struggling around, have some empathy, and maybe some common decency and respect. And be rude to the skinny short white guy with glasses. Give him a taste of his own medicine.

Worst experience ive ever had in a fast food joint. It took 30 mintues to get me my food on one occasion because they had lost my ticket evidently, and never called out my order. food was cold when i got it and not even an apology. But i decided to give them another chance. Unfortunately for me that would lead to the same thing except an almost of waiting for my food. I asked them twice about my food to which the first time, after 30 min, they said it was still getting ready. 10 minutes later i ask them again and they disappear with my receipt for about another 10 minutes to bring me some cold food without any napkins, straws, or condiments. Will never go back.

I work 2mi away so i frequent this location 1-2x per week. Love the food. Prices are great, way better value than other fast food joints. Unfortunately, this location is one of if not the worst food service establishments Ive ever been to. Rude staff, order rarely correct, fries usually cold before I pull out of the property. Typed this up while eating my cold fries with the partial order I received without the condiments I asked for.... couldnt order the first time around because there was no response on intercom for 4 minutes. Think the girl went to bathroom? So I got to sit in line all over again, to not get the food I ordered...

We go here pretty frequently and the food is pretty hit or miss. Sometimes the chicken quesadilla is an enjoyable gooey experience. Sometimes the chicken quesadilla has unmelted cheese and severely dry/overcooked chicken. Fried chicken sandwiches are also sometimes majorly overcooked. Its a good deal for the amount of food you get with a tray meal, and is sometimes really enjoyable. Also, make sure you got the shake you ordered before you leave -- they mix them up about 10% of the times Ive ordered at the drive thru.

Holy crap Cookout is here!!! This North Carolina takeout has opened in East Atlanta and droves of people are packing the parking lot with good reason. Here you order a combo with two sides that range from fries to corn dogs and a sandwich. For example, one could order a corndog, a chicken wrap, a burger and a Diet Coke (health reasons) and pay less than seven bucks. Also the shakes are out of this world with over twenty options to create combo flavor shakes. My favorite so far is Heath and Oreo.

The first time we ate at COOKOUT we had the best experience. The hamburger was the very best that I have ever eaten . It makes me think of a good old burger cooked over charcoal at home. We have fell in love with this place. In fact we would love to have one built nearer to us. The closest one to us is Rome, Ga. You should really build one in Hiram Ga. or Dallas Ga. Our family loves this place. Please consider locating in one of these places! BJ in Dallas,Georgia
