If I could give no stars I would. Horrible staff and service. I was there a few minutes ago and I have never been so embarrassed in my life. It was just me but I wanted something to eat so I stopped in. I know the rule about the booths being for 2 or more people. I was offered a place at the counter or wait on a small booth. Theres only 2 small booths but i wanted to wait. So I waited..... In the meantime 2 regular booths came open and because I was the only one waiting , the host offered me one. I sat down with my stuff. The waitress rudely asked me if I had been seated by the host and I said yes. She didnt seem to like that. Then 2 large parties came in and she had the nerve to tell me I needed to get up and let one of the large parties have my booth. I was soooo embarrassed. I didnt make a scene and left in tears. All I wanted was an omelet....

Consistently the WORST waffle house in Athens. LOUD music, lazy staff at night that sit on the counters. You have to work HARD to suck as a server when you have ONE table to take care of. This place needs management...bad. I will never return here. Do yourself a favor and jump on the loop to exit 18, and head to the one toward Bogart. Its 10 min from here and well worth the effort to avoid this nightmare.

Went during early morning hours (1a-4a). Only one or two other customers during my stay. Server was attentive and kept my coffee mug full. Food was typical Waffle House quality (which means greasy--but I have no complaints there). Location was chilly, but after a customer asked for the air to be turned up, it got nice and cozy. Fairly clean location, including the bathroom.

Our waitress was awesome, great attitude and great service. The only reason I give 4 stars is because of the corporate guy who had to have been there inspecting the location. His name was Brian and he was standing around hovering making it uncomfortable to eat our breakfast. We went to eat waffles not watch some corporate guy be douchey and strut around.

What you expect from Waffle House, non-fancy, basic food, but service is incredibly sketchy. Once observed my waitress casually leaned over a counter conversing with the cook while dirty dishes sat unattended on 6 tables.

Waffle House is an acquired taste, but staff at this one is kind and helpful. Little expensive (plus, tipping is customary here) so a little more that youd expect, but not bad at all.

This is probably one of the best waffle houses in Athens. Yes there are is usually a wait but if you want to eat at Waffle House this one is the one to eat at, so wait.
