“When any dish is presented with creativity and finesse, simple meal becomes a feast!!” Hello Everyone, I usually don’t write any review about any restaurant, but this time I had to take few minutes to mention this awesome place that just opened near exit 11, Alpharetta. On Saturday, I had this wonderful opportunity to attend the Grand opening of Indian Restaurant – “Sanjha Chulha”. Sanjha Chulha has spacious casual dining area, along with the separate space for hosting parties. The décor is very clean and crisp, instead of covering the whole space in dark and blinding colors, which I have seen in many casual Indian restaurants around the area, it uses light pastel paints on the wall with some pop of colors on the chairs. As it is brand new restaurant, they are still working on setting up the entire space and I am sure there would be many new developments related to the whole ambiance. The menu offers wide variety of mouthwatering dishes from appetizer to desserts. I had their lunch buffet and thus got chance to try out most of their dishes. Buffet had wide selection of both vegetarian as well as non-vegetarian dishes. I have to say most of the dishes were north Indian centric but there were some south Indian dishes as well. All the dishes were exceptionally good, but the one that caught my most attention was their tandoori chicken, it was well marinated, nicely seasoned and moist. The way each dish was presented certainly shows that Chef Vikas had taken great effort in preparing every dish. Staff was very courteous and friendly and overall service was good. Although as I mentioned that it was their first day, so they might need to work little bit towards streamlining the whole process. All in all, had really nice experience and if you are looking for any good restaurant with authentic Indian food… do give Sanjha Chulha a try! And please share your honest opinion, I am sure it will help them in improving the overall experience for their customers.

We went this restaurant today, Boy what a mess. As soon as we walked in, the crew was not even caring. Then we sat on a table and noticed the place was a big chaotic. No one gave us a Menu until we asked for one. Looking at the scene we asked for how long the order is going to take ? They were like, we are busy so it will be a wait. So we asked to suggest a dish which we can get quicker (or pre made). They said nothing and it will take a long for anything. Our daughter being hungry we have decide to leave, they were not even bothering. Simply said, ok leave its fine. They didnt even said sorry we are busy right now we cant serve you faster(we understand sometimes restaurants are busy). This place looks like run unprofessionally. I dont believe on the 20+ reviews in 4days. There is no service period. In Alpharetta there are lot of options for a Better Indian restaurant. This will not be on our list in the future.

By far, the food that was served in this restaurant stands out when compared to any other restaurant in Atlanta area. The variety of food items that were served in the buffet were countless and each of those items were prepared with utmost care so that the delicacy is not compromised. The staff in this restaurant also does a great job of taking care of each and every customer even in one of its most busy days / hours. The place is very clean and smells good which is a very important aspect when choosing a restaurant that I want to eat in. Overall, Sanjha Chulha is a restaurant that I would like to visit again and again for a complete dining experience. This is what everyone craves for when they go out to eat. So folks, dont wait... go try some food here and I am 100% sure you wont be disappointed...

I ordered a veg. biryani & 2 samosas from a food delivery company that delivers to my office...I requested extra boiled egg in my biryani. What I got was a pitiful, flavorless, rendition of biryani, which cost me $16 total. I called the restaurant & spoke with the manager. Who informed me only the chicken biryani comes with boiled egg & I said, well the fact that I requested it, shouldve been a clue to include it. At which point, I was told "next time". Well guess what? there wont be a "next time". Some restaurant owners take the business they get for granted, just because I wasnt in store, & they got their $$ whether the food was good or not, shouldnt be a reason to not care about the flavor & quality of the food being served.

A very bad experience. Visited for first time today [12/16/16] over lunch buffet, but half of the items failed to make up to basics of taste. Only one paneer (cottage cheese) dish in veg that too was missing flavors completely, Chole (chik peas) was over salty and missing flavor, Dahi Aaloo was average, Sambhar was fine nothing wrong here at-least. [Nov veg items were still fine, So you have 1 points for those.] Desserts were a disaster Gulab Jamun were stinking as they were 100% fried in STALE USED OIL and custard with FROZEN FRUITS worst of all. Guys [Restaurant management] you need to do a lot better job at one thing that is cooking because you are a restaurant.

My husband and I ate at the buffet a few weeks ago. Today, we returned for lunch and I was told by a staff member that I should not eat here, there are no vegan options. On my first visit, a girl with a long pony tail told me what was/was not vegan. This same staff member (with a beard and moustache) corroborated her identification of vegan items. I was so angry at our visit today, essentially I was told that everything is cross contaminated and theres butter in everything. Why was this not communicated to me the first time I visited? I do not eat meat, butter, dairy for religious reasons. I am appalled at how I was treated and will not return. Shame on them.

Atlanta offers a variety of Indian food and there are quite a few restaurants around. However, the food and experience that we have had at Sanjha Chula is next to no one. The ambience is warm and inviting and a perfect place to go out to and enjoy lunch or dinner with friends and family. Vikas the head chef is constantly looking for feedback and I applaud his courage to keep the menu authentic and also experiment at the same time. Being a Bengali I have a sweet tooth that profound and I do save up splace for the gulab jamuns they make fresh. I would highly recommend them to dine in or order food for your next party. Keep it up guys and all the very best.

We went to this restaurant on a week night. It filled up very quickly. The wait staff seemed overwhelmed, but was extremely polite. We ordered a few appetizers and entrees. I was very pleasantly surprised to experience the taste of Punjab in the food. The food had a nice smokey flavor that you get only from a coal fired tandoor. Really glad to get good north Indian food in Atlanta. The decor is simple but I wish there was warmer colored lighting instead of the white LED light in the restaurant. Also, the food took some time in coming out, but for this taste, I will tolerate that. Also, a decent delivery service would be most welcome.
