The food was decent, but the service provided by our waiter, David, was extremely disappointing. We had 7 people plus an infant to celebrate a birthday and our waiter often disappeared for long periods of time, leaving drinks empty and preventing us from requesting necessary items such as silverware. The biggest cause for dissatisfaction was the way he handled the surprise birthday cake. A group of us arrived early with a personalized cake and asked the staff to hold in the back and prepare for us after our meal. This service cost $20 (the first time I have seen a restaurant charge for such a service, but not the issue that has upset us). After dinner the waiter, when we had to ask and remind him, brought out the cake with the plastic bag, lid on, and candles still in their packaging. We were forced to open the cake, light the candles, and then cut the cake in front of the birthday girl. This whole process ruined the entire surprise. Not to mention it cost us $20 to ruin a surprise and we had to pay to do all the work. At the end, the waiter seemed really annoyed when we asked him to split the check by couples with one person paying individually. He remarked, annoyingly, "you dont want individual checks?" All in all, I was extremely dissatisfied with my experience and upset at the complete lack of care demonstrated by the server. On top of that, we were still forced to pay a mandatory 20% service charge since we were a party of 7.

Meh. Not a great experience. First of all, theres no signage and its impossible to even find this place. The name is weird and completely hidden, google maps puts you in the wrong parking area, and the Forum doesnt list it anywhere outside. Once inside it was ok but still no signage at all; I had to wander around even looking for the restrooms. I mean really, you cant put up one sign? The food is ok. Choices are extremely limited. Service is ok. I will say that I ate probably the best lamb burger Ive ever tried, but the rest was meh. Be warned: youre not ordering french fries. Potato wedges would describe it if each one wasnt a quarter of an entire potato. Unseasoned not even with salt, just too much grossness I left them on the plate. Thank God the burger patty was so good. Coke out of a can, I guess thats supposed to make me feel special? Id get the burger to go if it didnt cost an arm and a leg. Personally I found this restaurant awfully full of itself and pretentious, with food that was just ok with some serious execution flaws. No way to know where the hell the restaurant even is or how to get there...or where to go wash your hands before dinner. Feels like someone whos never owned a restaurant popped this one up. Ive worked in the area for 8 years and have never been here, if I work here 8 more Ill never recommend it and never come back.

By far one of my favorite places to eat and relax Consistency is one of the many things I love about this restaurant. I love the service and the atmosphere and on cooler spring or fall nights, you cannot beat the patio with its roaring fireplace. I have had so many wonderful meals there, it would be hard to pick a favorite. I have never had even a so-so meal and it is my go to place for all special occasions. Shrimp and grits, lovely wine, fantastic fish and steaks, all perfect. I can also say I have never been disappointed. I always buy gift certificates for clients and friends so they can have the pleasure of dining at one of my all time favorite restaurants.Make plans to take advantage of this dining experience when your next special event comes up,or you feel like relaxing and having an outstanding meal.

Nouvelle-Southern Meets Upscale Strip Mall And its awesome, yall. Okay, thats a crap headline and Id like to take this opportunity to apologize to the staff of this fine dining establishment for what can only be described as a flippant back-handed compliment. Because if you take a moment to get past the teenage debutantes humble-bragging over their 3-figure weekley allowances or corporate muckity-mucks taking life too seriously, what you will find is southern-fried slap in the face of painfully honest and painstakingly crafted food, served by people who are at the top of their game. So put on your khakis, pretend you went to a private school and enjoy one of the best restaurants in the area. It truly is worth it.

I ordered the fried chicken salad which was a thin, paillard style piece of chicken plopped on top of romaine, shredded carrots that looked like they came right out of the bag, a few bits of cucumber and radish-for $18. The chicken was so tough I couldnt cut it. They were kind and apologetic and I ordered the vegetable pasta as a replacement. It was also disappointing. Really thick noodles (almost like an Asian noodle bowl) and instead of a sauce, there was liquid/broth in the bottom of the bowl. It was messy and only so so flavor wise. The service was great. The two dishes I tried were disappointing and over-priced.

Food was great at lunch today except the twice cooked fries were not done...definitely raw in the middle. Maybe they need a third cooking? But the chicken salad was terrific, and the special of the day, a BLFGT (bacon lettuce fried green tomato) sandwich was delightful as was the green apple and jicama salad. Oh, and we were sitting outside and finally had to go in and hunt down our waitress to get the check (and there were only 4-6 other tables of people in the entire place). Probably should give this place 3 stars, but the food was so good that Im giving it 4 despite the slip-ups (raw potatoes, spotty service).

Wow, this is place is amazing! The ambiance is an escape to somewhere in Europe and the food is delicious...love the Scallops, Crab Cakes, and the Pork Chop...and the grits and collard greens are unlike anything Ive ever had..simply awesome! Their deserts are also terrific...the cheese cake is the best I have ever put in my mouth! Service is great and Grace has the best patio in Atlanta!! Always a wonderful experience, I highly recommend...no need to drive into Buckhead or Downtown, you wont find anything better than Grace 1720..true.

Located in the middle of a delightful shopping center called the Forum, this was a charming dining experience. When the waiter brought out a bowl with some bread and herbs and then proceeded to pour a rich creamy tomato basil soup around them in a skilled manner that made them rise to the top rather than be covered, I knew I was in for a treat. I had the "Black n Blue", Black Angus beef on a delightful salad with Blue Cheese. It was awesome! This place gets a "you gotta try it" rating from me.

Disappointing! We expected much better given the location, the description, and the prices. Unfortunately, the service was inept and clumsy; the food mediocre to inedible, and there was no management in evidence. Staff is extremely inexperienced and exhibit poor morale. The upside: our drinks were made correctly and tasted great once they arrived. Do not be fooled by the a hype or the tabke linens - this is like airport concourse restaurant with higher prices and slower service.

It was ok, but I wouldnt come back even if I wasnt paying. Service was outstanding but the food is so lackluster. I expect more experimentation and risk from a place with such grand decor. Dont get me wrong, the chicken salad sandwich is good, but I can get an equally good chicken salad sandwich anywhere. The entire menu is food I could find just about anywhere. If you are going to have a nice restaraunt, show me a culinary lanscape I cant find at every food truck in Norcross.
