An overall disappointing experience from the food the service. First, they serve no wine here and how an Italian restaurant does not serve wine is beyond me. The calamari appetizer was overcooked, salty and the pieces were so small to pea size, clearly they were at the end of the bag and compromised quality. I had trouble getting them on the fork. They no longer had three entrees listed on their menu, the ones we wanted! The worst part is our meals came out before the salad, not a big deal. We told the server it was fine and we would forgo the included salad. They lied and told us those were not our entrees and took them back to the kitchen and returned with the salads - only to bring back the same entrees about 6/7 minutes later, only now warm and not fresh. An epic fail on their part. My chicken parm was good but their sauce is too sweet for my palate. The green beans were over cooked and the side of ziti was good. Nothing special here so we will not be back! .

"Oh My Land! The best of Fresh, Italian in Tampa" My partner and I heard rave reviews about Trattoria Pasquale from friends. Our first visit was last night. Our friendly and knowledgeable and spunky server was "Sunny". If you can enjoy her service, it will add to the experience. Sunny recommended a couple specials of the night and we were not disappointed. We started with a freshly made, oooey, gooey mozzarella caprese salad - a must if you enjoy something new. Our beverages were attentively filled. We enjoyed fresh, warm bread and seasoned olive oil until our salads arrived. Then, the entrees. I enjoyed the freshly prepared Lobster Ravioli - absolutely delicious - so I tried to eat it slowly. My partner had the Parpadelle Tina and it was awesome. Both dishes were savory and delightful. Well be back. NOTE: Youll need a reservation to be able to sit at one of the only dozen tables, unless you go during the middle of the week. Enjoy!

Luigis restaurant is a great place to lunch or have dinner with friends. The food is excellent. Everything is freshly made. Luigi and his staff are welcoming you as family member the second time you enter the Trattoria. Due to the fact that Luigi does not have a license, you have to bring your own bottle, which is great because normally this is where the bill gets high! It also explains the very gentle bill at the end of the meal. On regular basis, several times a month, Luigi organizes his famous "Big Night", a secret seven courses dinner, focusing on a different region of Italy each time. For $35, there is no excuse for not asking to be added to the invitation list.

Chef Luigi catered for the Italian Club second annual comedy and music revue and the food was spectacular so I decided to check out his restaurant. I was greeted cordially by the hostess and seated a half hour early from my reservation. My server Ed was very prompt and well versed on the menu selections. The lasagne was out of this world and my girlfriends chicken marsala had great flavor as well. I am always impressed when the owner comes out to chat with customers as Chef Luigi did with everyone in the restaurant. Hes a really nice guy! I will go back again and again.

The worst restaurant I have been to in Tampa. I would give them a zero rating if I could. The waitress never asked me what I wanted to drink, she just poured me some water and never returned to my table. I then had to wave down another waitress who was just as worst. The new waitress took my order and it took her 40 minutes to bring me some muscles. I asked for melted butter and she said, "we have butter, but its not melted". What? I could continue with this story but Ill stop.

Ive been dining here for the last few years and absolutely love it! Ive been here with large groups for parties as well as quiet dinners with my wife. The service is always spot on and Ive never had a bad meal. Anyone that dines here MUST try the mussels! The menu is always fresh and updated daily with specials. The byob component helps the cost stay low while you still get to enjoy 5 star Italian cuisine! This is a hidden gem in south Tampa!

We called the restaurant to ask if they had any seating. They told us to come in. Upon arriving 45 minutes before closing, they told us they were now closed and had "turned the water off" because they were slow. When we explained that we had just called 30 minutes ago, we were told in a passive aggressive way that "had we arrived 30 minutes ago they would have served us." Definitely wont be going back.

Terrible service! Our waitress went to the back and was never seen again. Finally, after 30 mins and no drinks or explanation we called the only other waitress over to ask about our waitress. She said she didnt even know if she was here anymore. Then as we left she was out in the parking lot. All 3 of her tables were like "What the hell!" Never in my life!! Wow!

Excellent Italian food. We really enjoyed everything we had there, very authentic. Reminded my boyfriend, who is Italian, of the food he had when he was growing up. We didnt realize that they did not serve wine but we quickly went home and got a bottle to bring back. The owner is very friendly as well. We will definitely be returning! Really really good!

Had an amazing dinner! The best marinara I have tasted in years. St.Pete/Tampa has very little to choose from for Italian food. You must check them out. Try the calamari with "to die for" marinara. Mussels were awesome too. Arugula and Buffalo Mozzarella salad was amazing. Bring a bottle of wine and you are all set!

By far one of the best Italian restaurants my wife and I have ever enjoyed. We have eaten here close to a dozen times and have yet to be disappointed. Thank you Chef Luigi for bringing the amazing flavor of Italy here to Tampa. If you ever get the chance to attend his Big Night dinner, do it. Its a great experience!

Food was outstanding. But the service was slow, they were out of three menu items we wanted, and for such a small, intimate place, it was strangely loud. Also, its bring your own wine/beer, which is nice, except they dont advertise it on their website.

Most authentic Italian restaurant Ive ever been to. Friday was BYOW, which made my experience even more fun! Seriously, pick any dish and you will not be sorry! Taste and smells like your Italian grandmas cooking, but better! (Dont tell gran!)

loved it, really authentic italian. the veal in white wine was delicious and the gniochi gorgonsola was even better. yes there is no wine but that does not take away from the italian cuisine and you can bring your own with no charge.

Quaint. Keep in mind they do not have a liquor license, it is ok to bring your own. Interesting twist on traditional Italian food. I recommend the special, anytime. It is a good, small, tasty place!
