This WingHouse has been going strong since they opened many, many years ago---across the street (Hwy 301 actually) from The Florida State Fairgrounds and Ford Amphitheater. I can honestly say IMO, that out of all the WingHouses and many Hooters (Competition Restaurant) Ive been to, THIS WingHouse LOCATION is the best. The Best Management, The best / nicest waitresses, The Best food, consistently good---every single time. During a recent Sunday Lunch visit, our waitress "Alina" was fantastic. She got us in our seats immediately, talked about the seasonal "Specialty Menu" , and we had our cold pints of brew and two glasses of water delivered in less than 5-minutes! My buddy had the "Club Sandwich" which is about four and a half inches high (!) and I had the (3) grilled Chicken Soft Tacos which were awesome! The prices are much more reasonable than Hooters prices--and WingHouse changes up its menu often. I have never been to this location and met an angry waitress or a waitress having a bad day, which can ruin your meal and experience. They are all very pleasant, sweet and endlessly energized (and of course GREAT LOOKING!!!). Oh, and I must not forget the delightful,"Dress-to-Impress" monthly special days---better get here EARLY if you want to get a seat! Same rule applies whenever theres a Concert at the Amphitheater across the way---its packed.

The blonde bartender working this evening is spending 90% of her effort, energy and attention on her boyfriend who is sitting at the bar. (3/7/12 - the other girls is rocking and trying to pick up the slack - her name is Krista - shes good). I hope they dont have to split their tips - that would be a travesty. The boyfriend-focused girl must have been so focused on him that she forgot her name tag. Her and the boyfriend share a peach together at the bar (seriously), and whisper for looooong moments before she realizes she is at work and needs to attend to other patrons. Hes getting incredible, personalized service while the rest of us wait for her counterpart. What a joke - the girls wear skimpy clothing but have to be monitored by a boyfriend so theyre not allowed to give good service? Service looks good around the restaurant except for most of us at the bar who are relaint upon the girl who brought her boyfriend to work. Wish I knew her name - no name tag. Oh well, maybe Ill go somewhere else the next time. Last minute update... As her boyfriend is demanding that the Nicks game is on his TV, she actually notices that my beer has been empty for 5 minutes and offers me another. Progress, I guess???

I walked in the front door at about 3:45 on a Friday afternoon. Walked through about 8 servers, milling around in the entry way. Nobody said hello. Nobody asked if I wanted a table. Nobody seemed to notice a customer had walked in. I wanted to get food to go (my wife loves the grouper sandwich) so I just went to the bar. I sat at the bar for a few minutes, watching three barmaids at the other end of the bar, having an animated discussion among themselves. I went back to the entry way for a minute, then just grabbed a table and waited. A few minutes later one of the servers came over and asked if Id been helped and I told her I felt like the invisible man. She apologised. I asked for a beer and said I was going to order some takeout. She brought me the beer and disappeared for 20 minutes. I walked out with my wings and sandwich 45 minutes after I walked in. When I left, I had to squeeze through 4 servers holding the doors halfway open. They were having a conversation among themselves and couldnt be bothered to say anything to a customer walking out. Too bad. Ive been to a bunch of Winghouse locations and have always enjoyed the experience. Im not going back to this one.

Went in with 4 other people, so there were 5 of us. It was around 4-5pm so it was not busy at all. The lack of attention paid by everyone in there was surprising. Food was actually great, everything else was a bit sad. Having worked for a company similar to Winehouse in the past, I understand what is expected of the girls... Supposed to talk to tables and entertain. None of which happened here. Seemed as though everyone there thought they were too good to be there and didnt spend more than a minute with their tables. People that come into Winghouse arent just there to stare at the servers, they are wanting to talk to the servers as well. In any restaurant, as a server, you are supposed to be personable with your table. That was absent here. The food came out before the drinks, we were never able to get a round of waters for the table, even though we all asked for them at least 4 times. Best we got was 2 waters total..... To split between 5 people??? Come on. Once again, food was very good. I was let down by the attentiveness and friendliness of the staff though.

We had a party of 10 people, we placed our order and when the food came the server placed the food to the wrong people then switched around. The wings that my husband ordered suppose to be chargrilled lemon pepper( correct me if Im wrong but chargrilled suppose to be charred? Nope not those wings. They looked like they were baked and tasted rubbery. We also ordered nachos for the appetizer they were decent however they did not put the guacamole and sour cream on it as stated on the menu. The server also take a while to see if we needed refills but she did come around to check afterwards. One more thing to add, a place that suppose to serve drinks;they ran out of mosscato at 130pm. In my opinion, the hubby and I will not be going back to any winghouse due to lack of quality of food. Winghouse you need to fly back to where you came from cuz your wings were not that tasteful. Oh I forgot. I had ordered the shrimp tacos and the shells were hard and not to mention about how they were so cheap with the shrimp, they only put 3 shrimps in each taco.

The music is loud. If you want a relaxing dinner, this is not the place. I sat at a table for 10 minutes while the 15+ waitresses paid little attention. I moved to the bar and a nice waitress took my order and got me a drink. The rest of the night was like watching high school girls acting unprofessional. They ignore the customers...well....unless youre one of the creepy old "regulars" who think there is a chance a 22 year old will fall in love with him. They pay more attention to their friends and coworkers and the customer is clearly 2nd. ITs the old Hooters format, short shorts, tight shirts and bad food. The wings were dry and the beers short-filled. I had an uneventful salad of iceberg lettuce, stale croutons and a "Kens Dressing" packet. THe beer was cold. The wigs were mediocre. The 2 managers seemed to be clueless and the kids were running the place.
