I was in the Tampa area with family and someone suggested OGGI for lunch. We decided to give it a whirl and it was the best decision of the day. They serve you fresh appetizers right after you sit down that are very flavorful and bright. I recommend you order a meal that comes with a salad. The salad had a sweet yet tangy flavor that mixed very well. We all ordered different pasta dishes so we could each try something new and each one had a unique flavor all to itself. It is a little pricey for a small place but its worth it for all of the freshness in the dishes. After every meal you can also receive a free expresso. I am looking forward to coming back sometime soon. Also dog and kid friendly! Thanks

Lunch prices are overpriced and when taking out, portions reduce even more. I have eaten at this restaurant a couple times and every time Im met with less than before. My first visit, their lasagna was excellent, good lunch size portion and friendly staff. They even gave me a free canoli. My second visit I had the chicken parm and it was good however, there was limited chicken. This last visit I decided to have a take out chicken salad. Their lunch prices appeared to have gone up, I was given hardly any chicken ($4 extra) and was not given any dressing or bread. This place has so much potential to have a strong lunch crowd but things will have to change before I return.

Went around 5:45 on a Tuesday, early, so it wasnt too busy, service was fast. However, staff and service became more disorganized as more people came in for supper time rush. Appetizer was good as was my meal and decent selection of beer and wine. My companions meal was not good. The Pollo Al forno fragola, which is a charred half chicken with a balsamic reduction glaze was burnt. The chicken was unseasoned, flavored only by the burnt glaze. I believe the cooking wasnt done correctly. When grilling with a glaze, it should not be applied too early in the process, otherwise you end up with burned glaze. Thats exactly how it turned out, like blackened, burned BBQ.

Now this is Italian! Joe thank you for the awesome hospitality! Alison was so sweet, you guys made us feel at home and put my Mothers Day Weekend on another level! We had the pollo al forno w/ sausage, pollo margahrita, pollo al forno genevese pesto and rigatonti w/pesto and fresh mozerella wheel with prosciutto and strawberry. Let me tell you.. Meant to go down the street to 220 East but the y werent open for dinner yet. Decided to try Oggi as they opened at 4p. We could smell the authenticity when we walked in. The service was impeccable. The food, oh my, so good. Chicken Parm was crispy spaghetti was perfectly al dente. Had a nice glass of Chianti to compliment and a cup of espresso to finish. No room for dessert. Maybe we start with that next time. This place is a must try whenever you are close to the Davis Islands.

As an Italian with New York roots I can tell you OGGI is the real deal!! Authentic imported ingredients with farm to table herbs and vegetables, flavors come alive and will pop in your mouth! Fantastic ambiance and atmosphere for families or if youre on date night this is an experience you wont soon forget. Baked lasagna, chicken, italian sausage, fresh mozzarella made daily, wines on tap, OGGI is amazing and a must try for anyone who enjoys a good meal. VIVA ITALIA!

Are you kidding me" was my first thought when I took a bite of my food. I couldnt believe I just had the best Italian meal of my life in Tampa FL. Amazing location on Davis Island. Great spot where you want to hang out. Staff is phenomenal and the food is out of this world good!!! cant believe the prices either. This will definitely be a place my family and I will come to again and again and again.

We went to a concert in Tampa today and after we were looking for a good restaurant to go eat at. Some people told us about Oggi and we went. This place reminded us of Italy. The atmosphere was great, the food amazing and the portions were pretty big. Everything was fresh and the place was clean. Waitresses were very friendly and fast. We will definitely go back next time we go to Tampa.

Great for couples, families, or hanging out with friends. Entres come with a dinner salad and espresso, but dont rely on them as the meals will more than fill you up. The have a small wine and beer selection which compliments the meals perfectly. Also the deserts are simple, but delicious - how can you go wrong with a canoli bar!?!

Wonderful dinner with friends! Food was delicious not overpriced and large portions. Bottle of Barolo and dessert and a stroll along the street made for a beautiful night. What s beautiful area Davis Island is in Tampa!! The outside tables made you feel like you are in a Little Italy NYC and Plenty of parking!! See you there!!

Always amazing. The ingredients are so fresh and you taste the quality. The people that wrote negative reviews will clearly find negativity in any place they go. Ive consistently experienced nothing but the warmest staff and incredible food. Andrea was so sweet and a great server. Cant wait for the next mozzarella wheel!

The Pistachio Chicken is out of this World!! We found this place 2 1/2 months ago and we come back every week to week & 1/2, since..They are Happy to cater to my No carbs requests...so so good and fresh..the Red Wine Montipulciano is Fabulous! Jeff was an awesome waiter, very attentive.

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful experience here. The service was warm and friendly, the portions were huge, and the food was delicious! They give you free espresso after your meal, so we enjoyed it while sharing cannoli for dessert. We will definitely be coming back.

I dont know what I just spent $50 on but it was terrible. Food came out in rediculous times and completely finished before my wifes food came out. 4 tables left while we sat there. This place is the worst place Ive been to.The owner is rude and clueless.

Wow we went here for valentines day and we were blown away by the great quality of food and attention to detail. Everything was delicious and perfectly done. The homemade mozzarella is an amazing touch! Would highly recommend to anyone.
