First I want to say Im not trying to get anytone in trouble or defame. Where Im from this is called Contructive Critisism Before I start my rewview I want to say this. I have fond memories of the The Green Iguana well. I would make a bee line there after a movie at AMC 24. It was a very lively spot. For me it all went down hill when Perkins, Bennigans, and Wild Wing closed. Only competiions remains is Logans, Vallartas, and Bostons (well not counting Starbucks and Coldstone). Soon after standards slipped and they end up on Dirty Dining. Then I guess Green Iguana Corporate decided to cut losses and shut it down. I thought such a waste to see a great lot and location to waste. Honestly speaing I was hoping a bigger chain like Bahama Breeze would buy it. We now have Green Gators. The first time I went it was like any other time if I were in the area after a movie. After seeing previous reviews I was nervous. I walk in it didnt take long for me to get a table. I requested a seat near the bar and I got it. I kinda regret it becuase it seemed there was aparty going on and they were loud. I know I know a party at a bar how dare they *sarcasm*. Given it was a Friday night didnt want to be party pooper. But there was this one guy who should have been cut off a while ago kept throwing a Fed Ex folder on the floor, twice at my direction. Really Now. I really hope those were not friends of the new owners. The waitress, if she gave her name she didnt say it loud enough for me to hear. Music was loud. She was good about taking my order and expliaing what kind of Vodka they have. Despite her both being waitress and bartender it didnot take 20-0 minutes to get the drink I ordered. The food (The Great Gator burger) a little over 20 min which is customary. It turned out a little salty. Over all it was ok. In the future I would come back for appetizers and drinks. I would suggest take down thoses Jagermieter bottles. Also pay extra attention to new customers. Everyone of them is an opportunity. Green Gator did and didnt hit the mark at the same time.

Cockroaches were present during my visit. The presence of a 2 inch cockroach crawling down a pillar near my table ruined the experience completely. When we called the server she said, "Oh I hope youre not expecting ME to kill it?!" A patron at the next table over ended up killing the beast. When the manager was called over she offered her apologies and offered us 25% off our order. Unfortunately, 25% off did nothing to remove the thought of the cockroach from our minds. I really really really hope they dont have cockroaches roaming around their kitchen. They assured us that this was an isolated incident, however, I parked next to the restaurant and as I was pulling out of the parking space a cockroach slid down my windshield! This can only lead me to assume that the whole place is crawling with cockroaches. If, in fact, as the manager assured us, they have Terminex coming out to the establishment, it cant happen soon enough. I hope no one else has the misfortune of dining with cockroaches. For those still interested in trying this place out, the food was mediocre, the drinks were acceptable, the service was barely acceptable.

this place sucks!!! went there for the $5 burger night. burgers were average, but service was lacking. had to ask for everything including silverware all after food was served. got my bill and noticed the burgers were not $5 but $5.99. the extra dollar on all the three of the burgers was not what my complaint was about. my complaint was how come they did not have anything on the menu or on table saying that the only $5 burger is a cheeseburger or reg burger. i told the manager that i thought the sign outside was misleading and she just walked away from me. did not say a word. acted like i didnt even exist...unreal. have never experienced anything like that before...next time i want a burger for $5 on monday ill be going to burger monger for sure...where you can get anything you want on it. oh yeah i got one soda water with a lime and was charged $2.50...really???

THIS PLACE IS SUPER GHETTO AND THE OWNER REPLACES TOP SHELF LIQUOR WITH A CHEAP ALTERNATIVE, SO YOU NEVER KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOU ARE DRINKING WHICH COULD BE EXTREMELY DANGEROUS FOR PEOPLE LIKE ME WHO ARE UNABLE TO DRINK CHEAP LIQUOR. THE OWNER IS ALSO GHETTO AND NON PROFESSIONAL SO AVOID THIS PLACE AND GO TO THE KENNEDY OR BLUE MARTINI SO SAVE YOURSELF FROM BEING POSIONED FROM THERE MYSTERY LIQUORS this place is the worst. I was given cheaper liquor in replace of hennesy on their 20 dollar all you can drink night, then told to leave when i complained to owner that i was not being served what i had paid for

Very good burger and beer. Service was swift and good. Atmosphere was cute. Only problem, it was really empty, for a Wednesday early evening, it was empty, and the bulding is so large, that is felt like I was in a huge warehouse. Though, there were "under construction" signs by the outdoor area, so I guess my timing was off. The area this restaurant is in, still has a Benigans, closed... It seemed like a suburban food mallish area. It was not bad, but Im not returning, since I can get a burger and sit in a wharehouse elsewhere.

Place was completely empty and its huge, but more importantly, their Cuban tasted like garbage, and was sloppily made (meat hanging out, barely on bread etc). I think they had something else in there that shouldnt be. I didnt finish it. Also, although its called the Green "Gator" they dont have any gator bites! (or any gator). This is Florida, known for Cubanos and gator. Dang, o well.

Service was terrible! Was neither greeted or given farewell by the hostess even though she obviously saw me, told the bartender I was new to the restaurant and was given a introduction of "oh?". Bartender was prompt but unfriendly, checking her phone and chatting with coworkers instead of taking to guests. Food was delicious but the service left me leaving with a bad taste in my mouth.
