Maybe cool for 20-something hipster Asheville who are oblivious to DJ, carelessly spinning tired R&B. Dont expect to be impressed by skimpy, mixologistical $8 cocktails, advertised as nightly "specials"; these drinks are too precious and over worked. Food options enter into unknown territory and demand copious explaination, but arrive swiftly from the adjacent Chai Pani (under same ownership) making this reviewer feel fortunate to sample Indian street foods in Appalachia, never "cutting chai" in Mumbai.

The food was so good! Loved the atmosphere too. A bit loud and crowded for a sit-down dinner, and we kinda just sat down at a table without knowing of it was already taken or not. Would have been nice to have a host to direct us. The drink selection was interesting. I felt adventurous! The waiter dropped our food, but then gave us free drinks and comped the meal- so no complaints there! It was a little chaotic, but all the sparkles and lights and people watching made it such a fun time!

Friendly server and cool atmosphere. Went to the connected restaurant Chai Pani last year and enjoyed it and wasnt disappointed with MG Road. Got a cucumber mojito not on the menu and Indian "quesadilla" with lamb and both were great. Waitress was friendly and patient when explaining the different drinks and food. Will definitely go back.

Getting drinks at the bar or a seat can be challenging during later hours but it is a bar at night after all. Decor is fun and dont miss the big punch bowl if you have a large group. Good spot for girls night out!

Amazing Bollywood-fabulous decor, and just the right music volume so as to add privacy and entertainment, but not kill conversation. Cocktails are creative and delicious, and service is attentive but not intrusive.

As far as I know, this is the only place that brings a great blend of the ambience of a dhaba ( Indian highway restaurants) and authentic Indian cooking, with some good cocktails to offer.

Cant believe they have a capacity limit of 49 people... we stayed there for three hours waiting for more people coming in and the bouncer sent away loads of beautiful girls!
