The first bar review Ive ever written because this place SUCKS so bad. I was a restaurant/bar manager in the past. Now, I travel with my job and frequent many, many bars and restaurants. Some good, some not so good. But, The Longbar is HORRIBLE. This place is a true sh*$hole, dive bar. It is smoky, dark, dank and depressing. Its so dark you cant see the beer taps behind the bar. No atmosphere to speak of and an unfriendly vibe. They have a bartender, "Sami", who thinks shes cute and sassy but in reality she is just a low-energy, bitchy bartender. She is preoccupied with "regulars" and does nothing to make you want to come back to this dump. I asked her if they had any IPAs on tap and she failed to mention Jai Alai. Jai Alai is made here in Tampa and is one of the most popular IPAs in the country right now. Save yourself.........keep driving.

Hand down the best pizza anywhere. Great prices, cold beer, friendly staff. The Long bar feels like a hometown bar, but with killer pizza and cheesy-pepperoni bread. I dont live close by anymore, but its worth the drive for a cold beer while Im picking up a pizza.

This used to be my favorite neighborhood bar. The food is great and its unpretentious and it was walking distance from my apartment. I still pop in sometimes for a quick drink or bite after work. I always meet the most interesting people there.

The long bar is one of my favorite places to drink, happy hour from 11 to 8 everyday. This is a good bar to go to if you wanna feel like your at the baest neighborhood bar in town. No corporate bullshit here.

Awesome place. Everyone so friendly makes you feel like family. Try the mile high sandwich. Sit in the back bar on a Friday and Saturday nite with the greatest bartender ever, her name is Kathy...she rocks!

I love the atmosphere, the bartenders are amazing and can/will make you any drink you want! The food is great! They have kareoke, a jukebox, and pool tables, and plenty of TVs for the sports watchers!
