This place did not make us feel welcome at all. We walked in and a woman behind a counter was talking to another patron. Instead of greeting us, she stopped, stared at us, and continued to talk to other customer. It was really odd. Then someone yelled out for us to seat ourselves. Thats fine, I have no issue with that, but we didnt feel welcome, and I dont know if it was because we werent regulars or what. Well never go back unless someone wants to answers this for us. When we left another woman asked us why we were leaving. My husband told her why, but she didnt seem to care. Oh well, we went to Cracker Barrel instead. Cracker Barrel is about to get a good review for great service, and great food.

These people are awful. The owner was disrespectful and so were the waitresses. Dont bother going unless you want to leave mad. We got kicked out because we had sat outside with out two standard poodle puppies. Well behaved pups. It is apparently illegal to sit outside at a restaurant with pups. Not unless they have service papers..... NO SUCH LAW! When I spoke to the owner he was uneducated of the issue. We work closely with service dog programs and shelters. I told him that there is no law against is and one of the pups was a service dog in training and showed him picture. I will never eat here nor will any of my fmaily/friends. We are all dog lovers.

One of the few still standing confederate racists mom and pop restaurants. Also to add they have the laziest waitresses ever. They have no idea how to multitask ei distribute coffee and/or answer a damn phone call to take a simple order. Dont take your kids there unless you want to see one of the waitress which is a 70 year old women dressed like a 20 year old at a frat party. They dont even acknowledge you when you walk in. Dont bother going here, you will pay the same amount of money at Bob Evans near 60 and falkenburg. And they have a much better staff and decour.

Weve been to 50+ restaurants with outside seating and have always been able to bring our extremely well behaved dog without a single issue. Today we sat outside (we were the only people outside) and were told we couldnt be served unless they had service papers and that it was illegal to have them there.. Again we were not inside the establishment, we were sitting outside. The owner or manager (not sure which) made the waitress come out and tell us, she was also very rude. This place is not pet friendly, even in the outside seating section..

What a great country diner! The decor is southern country with barn-red walls & lots of homey accents. Howard B has been coming here for years, so when we took Madeline to her graduation rehearsal on an early Sunday morning at the fairgrounds, he knew just the place for breakfast. Service was excellent, and the food was even better. And their coffee was outstanding! I thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast here, and hope Im in the area again soon for another meal.

I dont go to this restaurant often but have done so every once in a while for a few years and I have never had anything bad. Today the food was no different, food was nice and hot, good sized and good priced. The coffee on the other hand could have been a little hotter but I am very picky when it comes to my coffee. If you want good food, mom and pop atmosphere, country music low in the background, reasonably priced, check this place out.

Exactly what youd expect for a family diner. Service was fast and friendly. Specials were offered and at a good price. I ordered the grilled ham and cheese and soup special for $5.95. The sandwich was extra buttery (which I love) and served piping hot, along with my beef veggie soup. Overall menu pricing is great and good selection too. The building is older and the bathroom was a bit dark, but clean. Ill be back for sure!

Ive been coming here for years. I just had the best fish and chips Ive ever had in Florida period being from Seattle I know my fish. The food is always piping-hot and tons of it! The service is fasting friendly can get in and out in 20 minutes perfect for lunch. Very inexpensive compared to most restaurants the breakfast is the bomb! I wish I could insert the photo of the fish and chips I just ate

The waitress was super efficient and delightful. There was 15 of us. Prices great, food was very good except our pancakes were ice cold. Butter just sat on the cakes. We NEVER send food back, no matter where we are, because of what we have seen on tv. Would recommend to everyone and we will come back. This was my husband and my first time at the 301. Our group has been there before. Thank you.

Idiots have a sign that states "Close at 2pm" we get there at 1:38 pm and they say sorry we are closing . Business like this dont deserve the space they are using for a restaurant. Ill be back in a year just to see if they are still in business. Bet they are not. Customer service is JOB 1 in this economy, if you dont understand that you should close your doors, please!!!!

Alright so if you are looking for somewhere affordable but still taste like youre not completely poor this is your place. The most expensive thing on the menu is still affordable and the portions are very generous. Service is great and for going at 10 am on Wednesday we didnt have to wait for more than a few minutes on our food. 10/10 would eat here again.

The waitress and staff were fantasic. Very friendly atmosphere. The prices were very reasonable. I was served promptly and with a friendly smile. The food was great. Ashley, the waitress that served me did a great job making sure that my expirence was a good one. I would definitely be going back.

Old style restaurant ,good food,Hard working people. Been there several times for Breakfast and Lunch and always have had great service. Its old but " Clean". Breakfast cooked the way I ask . Waitresses are Great Too. Give it a try Thanks Brandon Lock & Safe Inc

For the price, the food was mediocre, they should use large eggs instead of small, gravy should be homemade instead of packaged. Service was good, waitress was very attentive. They do a brisk business, but would probably double their profits with a few changes.

We love this place. One of the best breakfasts in town. Food is great, prices are reasonable and service is friendly. If you like diners, give them a try. We drive from Temple Terrace to eat here and pass a number of other restaurants along the way.

The food was good though my bacon was on the dark side lol (dont mind me, I just love bacon!) Friendly staff and good environment. From the looks of it on the outside its old school, mom and pop style, but the food and the people outweigh that any day!

This place is just like home but they do the dishes and they cook. The service is excellent the food is excellent and the prices are really reasonable. I would eat here 3 times a day if I thought I could get away with it
