This was the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant, and I am never going back to that location of IHOP. I went there with a friend on July 1, 2017. See the receipt. I ordered a omlete meal and showed the coupon for a stack of free Rooty Tooty pancakes to the waiter. I told him I want the Harvest Grain pancakes instead of the Rooty Tooty. He told me that was not allowed. I asked to see the manager. He sends over a waitress named Donna. I explain to her about the coupon and that I wanted the Harvest Grain. First, she tells me the email I printed is missing 2 pages. I told her thats the part of the email she needed and has all information on it. Next, she tells me it says in the coupon that I can only have the Rooty Tooty pancakes and I can choose any flavor. I explained to her over 7 times that the email clearly states in two sections I can choose between the Rooty Tooty pancakes or another flavor. I pointed out to her the fine print below the expiration date that detailed everything. She totally ignored that and only focused on the top portion. I asked her why she was ignoring the bottom part where all the important info was located, and she wouldnt answer. I told her I came there before with the same kind of coupon, and even the manager allowed it. She tells me again its not allowed. I ask to speak to the manager, and she tells me he is not there and that she is in charge of the floor. I told her that cant be, that a manager needs to be there. She again tells me the same thing. Finally, I give up and tell her Im done debating it. About 15 min before my friend and I get ready to leave, I see the manager walking around the dining area. He had glasses on, a blue shirt, and black pants. I even spoke with him on a prior visit, and so I knew it was him. This was proof the waitress lied to me in my face, and in front of my friend and other customers. When we went to pay for our meals, the manager checked us out. I did not even bother to speak with him about the incident with the waitress because his general attitude made me uncomfortable. He did not ask us how our visit was, no name tag on his shirt, and I had the impression he did not care to even be at work. The restaurant itself had kind of a musty or moldy smell, the sweet tea was so sugary it could probably put a little kid into shock, and my friend found something floating at the bottom of her drink towards the end of our meal. Honestly, this waitress needs to be either suspended and sent to a training class for a month, or fired. She refused a service to me in which I was clearly allowed to have, lied to me in my face about the manager, insulted my intelligence, and made my friend feel insulted and uncomfortable as well. She did this in front of other customers, which is also very unprofessional. Does IHOP even properly train their employees anymore or do they just hire any uneducated idiot off the street that will serve food??? Im a military veteran, and I served my country well. No waitress with a high school education is going to disrespect and insult me like that. Therefore, I will be contacting corporate about this incident. Donnas behavior was totally unprofessional and unacceptable. My suggestion is to stay away from Donna if you really have to go to that location. Makes no sense I had to go through all of that drama and stress over some same pancakes!!! Oh, and the receipt says Larry. So I guess thats the managers name. What a stooge!

Ive never really had a problem with this place until I actually ate in. I normally order to go. We might have been seated quicker if the other employees werent busy sitting down talking with other people or just acting like they didnt want to work but the only man that helped us was Milton. He was very nice and friendly. He apologized for the wait and took our order. He served us our food ,it looked and smelled delicious! I got ready to take my first bite and I noticed a long blonde hair in my salad. It wasnt our waiters because he has short dark hair and it sure wasnt mine because my hair is black. I let Milton know,he was very professional about the situation and got the manager. The manager seen the hair and apologized and said he would take care of it. I told the manager I dont want anything for free nor am I trying to make a scene. I just want a salad. Anyway my new salad came back fresher than before! Milton came back and apologized again and made sure everything was fine. It was a waitress that Milton asked to help him with other customers and she started arguing at him. It bothered me because Milton was working his butt off and all she was doing was standing around. But Milton was wonderful and did his job well!! Thank you Milton!!

Let me just say the server was excellent! The problems we had were with the food and the management (Larry). The food came fast, but there was a nice long sandy blonde hair under the French toast and across the bacon!! The server was not around to be notified so I began looking around for a manager. Larry was the manager on duty and was seating a table. He very clearly saw me looking at him but proceeded to go back to the podium. He then sat another table a few minutes later and finally came over. His demeanor was poor when he came to the table, I politely told him the problem with the food. He didnt apologize, not did notify the sever of the issue. The server came to the table with the receipt which was charging us for all of the food even though we had not eaten it. I got the servers attention and brought him to the bar facing the kitchen and handed him the receipt in front of the manager who was cold to the server also. Larry told us there was no one to contact and removed the food with the hair from the receipt. But considering the wait time and all of the other factors that wasnt acceptable. I have been visiting IHOP since I was a child, i do not see myself visiting any longer!
