I totally love Maple Street Biscuit Company and I make it a point to stop by every time I come back to Tallahassee. Think every type of biscuit you could possibly imagine, add a boatload of flavor, quick service and youve got MSBC. Ive ordered biscuits with sausage gravy, biscuits with cheese, biscuits with jelly. All have been really delicious, maybe some of the best biscuits Ive ever had. The last time I went into Maple Street, I ordered the Squawking Goat, which is a biscuit with fried chicken and a fried goat cheese medallion topped with pepper jelly. O. M. G. That is all. Well, its not all, because this IS Yelp and I do have to elaborate. The fried chicken is not too greasy, and the goat cheese is rich and creamy. But topped with the pepper jelly, this biscuit sends you on a first class trip to heaven. Seriously so good. The sausage gravy is definitely worth getting, as is the bacon. The ordering concept is really cute because they dont ask you for your name for your order -- instead, they ask you a random question. When I went New Years Day, they asked what the best moment of 2015 was. On Halloween they asked what your favorite Halloween costume was. So each day its something different. Prices are fair and the service is usually really friendly. All in all, a great addition to the Tallahassee food scene. Go, quick!

I love this place! The food is great and FRESH because they make a lot of it in-house like their biscuits and the jam (which is AHMAZING). The only thing I would suggest is adding more vegetarian-friendly options to the menu because all of the signature dishes have either chicken or bacon or both, so I usually just order a side of eggs and biscuits and put together my own little sandwich. The staff is amazingly friendly and the environment is fun. HOWEVER, take mind that this isnt a very good place to study seeing as how it is not very quiet and is bustling with people. They serve coffee, but its more of a restaurant than a cafe, so I suggest taking your studying elsewhere. Its still a great place to have brunch with friends or go to for lunch meetings. 5 stars for uniqueness and good quality !!

I really want to like this place. Its clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful, and I like the atmosphere. I just dont like the food. Ive tried several different biscuits, and the chicken is somewhere between "unremarkable" and "not good". The biscuits are fine, bread-wise, but thats not much of an accomplishment. I dont eat mammals, and most of the stuff on the menu has bacon or ham. Theyll gladly leave it off, but the dishes were designed to include the pork, and they lack something without it. I also tried one of their vegetarian biscuits--the squawking goat. It sounded delicious--goat cheese, chicken, and pepper jelly! It was vile. I couldnt finish it. The coffee was good! Im afraid that this place just isnt for me, though. I must renew the search for a good breakfast place near FSU.

Loved this place! It was a new try for my cousin and I, shes a crazy picky eater and loved every bit of it! The biscuits are made fresh to my understanding with a little of the syrup in them (I do not like syrup, but immensely enjoyed the biscuits). Their system for calling your order was quirky and fun, and the service was delightful. Bathrooms were clean and it was a bit full when we went but it wasnt overcrowded or too loud, think laid back cafeteria style. My cousin and I are both introverts but it was a pleasantly laid back for the amount of people they were serving. Well make this a favorite spot. Parking is a bit crazy, but youll love the food!

I dont think that me and my wife will ever be able to go to Tallahassee without stopping and eating at this place. Their biscuits and food are amazing. The prices are reasonable for the amount of food and quality that youre getting. Definitely will be a favorite if youre returning to Tallahassee. Keep in mind this place is across the street from Florida State University so its super busy. Get the sticky Maple biscuit its the bomb. I think if you need that day call your order by asking random questions like what was your first job. The next time I go Im going to say stripper so the guy can yell out "stripper" when my meal is ready.

The first Maple Street Biscuit Company I went to was in Jacksonville Beach and it blew my mind! I love the place! I crave it almost every other day. The Tallahassee location lacks proper customer service though. It maybe because of the high frequency they experience during the weekends, but they should know how to adjust to the high activity. I placed an order for pickup and they forgot the gravy for my hashups and added an item I never ordered or received on my receipt. This time I ordered for pick up and my friend went to go pick it up to find out that they had never made nor heard of the order I placed. Still tastey though!

Looking for a biscuit and gravy fix and had googled this place! We totally lucked out! The food; the sticky maple and the Ralphie, was delicious and cooked to perfection. Chicken was amazing. Gravy had the perfect pepper kick! Really phenomenal (and were from Memphis :) you could eat the biscuits with nothing and theyd still be just as amazing. Atmosphere and staff really warm and fun. Very cool. Cant wait to come back and play in Tallahassee so we can eat here!!! Just awesome! Way to go Maple Street Biscuit Company- youre doing it right! The Maple Street Biscuit Company, is relatively new and has skyrocketed in Tallahassee, FL for a number of reasons. One of the reasons is that it is 2 blocks from the FSU campus as well as accessible for students to walk or ride a bike to. Also, the biscuits here are made from scratch and made to order. I was blown away by the elaborate system that held all the cooks together just because from ordering to sitting to eat; it took no longer than 8 minutes. You will never be disappointed here because authenticity is the name of the game and I am a repeating customer for their glazed cinnamon biscuits!

Oh my gosh, this place is delicious!!! The prices made me a little weary from some breakfast/brunch food but after I saw the portions, I was very pleased. I ordered the sticky maple and the hash ups and they were both very delicious. The chicken was fried perfectly and the biscuit literally melts in your mouth. The syrup is the perfect topping! The hash ups were filled with flavor and the melted cheese topped everything off. Definitely coming back again!

I think this chain is mostly popular because it is new and due to marketing. The food is nothing to write home about. I had a "hashbrown cake". It was dry and lacked flavor, other than the bitter pieces of burnt potatos on the edges. However, the incredibly friendly staff, good location, and free desert biscuits if you hang around long enough make up for all of it!

The food was great! Had to order something different because I was told they were all out of Chicken. Soon after receiving my order the owner came out to correct the mistake saying they actually DID have chicken. So he gave me a whole new order. The one one I really wanted. So I say the Customer service is exceptional! Definitely will be a returning customer
