My family and I ate at this restaurants booth at India Fest yesterday. We paid $15 per combo that included butter chicken, chicken tikka, vegetable briyani and a samosa. In retrospect this shouldve been a great deal but what ended up happening is that we got all sauce and two small pieces of chicken with the butter chicken as well as one small piece of chicken tikka - which was not worth $15 in any way. The owner (Im guessing), he wore glasses with red arms, he was unfriendly and seemed ungrateful for the business. He didnt acknowledge customers or smile he just snatched the money out of our hands. The little food that we did receive was good but due to our experience we wouldnt drive down south to dine at their actual restaurant. I was trying to contact their restaurant directly but (go fugure) their "contact us" link doesnt work on the restaurant website. What vendors dont seem to understand is that they represent their business and if you cheat people and treat people like they are inconveniencing you by spending money - we just wont spend at your establishment. Per managements response, we DID read the huge sign and that is why we decided on eating at your food tent. What you fail to understand is that we werent concerned with the price because we were aware of the prices prior to ordering - we were disappointed with the customer service (which seems to be an issue at your restaurant l, as well, according to reviews) and the fact that we were cheated when it came to how much food was given to paying customers. As far as speaking to one of the employees - we did. My dad said (twice) that all you were giving us was sauce and his comments were disregarded. I understand that these events can be costly but thats a decision that you make (to spend the money) when you decide to do events - the consumer should not have to "pay the cost" by getting cheated out of food because youre trying to penny pinch when you sign up to partake in an event. People should be treated fairly and given a decent serving for their money. We ate at several other tents throughout the day that did not cut corners the way that your tent did when it came to portions and customer service. I appreciate your offer to visit your restaurant but we will not be accepting. It is obvious that you choose to blame the customers instead of yourselves when you fall short on what your paying customers deserve.

Very disappointing experience!!! We came with a very large group of people. However, the manager/driver told us they dont have anyone who could attended to us as of right now. Mind you, this is 4:10 PM. We traveled from Deerfield to eat at this restaurant. The driver/manager continued and told us that they would open again at 5 PM. According to them they have very big catering orders to fulfill (clearly this is more important than having customers attended the restaurant, after all your revenue/profit margin is much greater when your cater). Also, on the door the sign clearly indicated they reopen at 4:30 PM after their lunch break. Furthermore, one of our friends jokingly said we would leave a "bad review." And yet again the manger did not care, in fact he encouraged it and responded "go ahead, half the people who write bad reviews always come back." This clearly indicates how ARROGANT they have become and how little they care about keeping any customer happy. This incident could have been taken care in a humble manner. We ended up going Al Natour, not only was the food delicious at this restaurant, we were treated with up most respect. I will boycott this restaurant and go to any other desi/Arabic restaurant. They have few other restaurants in the area. 1. Al Natour Middle Eastern Restaurant, 1787 N University Dr, Plantation, FL 33322 2. Nirala Sweet House, 8913 W Oakland Park Blvd, Sunrise, FL 33351 3. Mehfil Restaurant & Banquet, 8550 NW 44th St, Lauderhill, FL 33351 4. BundoKhan Halal Restaurant, 8438 W Oakland Park Blvd, Sunrise, FL 33351 5. Paradise Biryani Pointe (not sure if this is halal), 8097 W Oakland Park Blvd, Sunrise, FL 33351

I want to start with saying that everything was delicious, the service was good and the atmosphere was fine. There was only 1 single downside that kept this from being 5 star review. I had ordered a chicken tikka masala and the waitress asked how spicy I wanted it. She asked 1-10. I asked for a level 8, and while the spices and taste were perfect, the spiciness was extremely lacking. I wanted to be sweating and enjoying the heat but it was more like a level 1. When our waitress came back and asked if everything was good, i said yes but mentioned about the lack of spiciness. She had this doubtful look on her face. I dont know, maybe next time I will just go for level 10 if thats what it takes to be spicy. Besides that, everything else was great. Also as a side note, this isnt part of the rating, but I want to know why you include American dishes like French fries and pizza? It kind of makes me not want to try new places when I see that on the menu. When I was there, someone was about to order French fries and wings. Its just a bothersome thing to see. Why do people go to an Indian/ Pakistani restaurant and then order a hamburger!? It just doesnt make sense. I would understand if your menu was a fusion of Indian Pakistani American dishes, but its not. If it were up to me, which its not, i would just stick to the delicious Indian and Pakistani dishes you already serve. Edit: just went there about 3 nights ago and asked for extra extra spicy and it was good. So good. 5 stars now. But serving American food is still bothering me.

It was the rare occasion of ordering out, this was one of the only places that delivered. The other reviews seemed pretty good so I gave it a try. Days later, I still cant get over how bad it was. The total was $50 (an hour wait) for 10 piece honey garlic wings, small meat Stromboli, grilled chicken sandwich, and a full meatball sub. -The wings were TINY and doused with huge chunks of raw garlic, the honey was nonexistent, so I had to add my own honey. -The grilled chicken sandwich was dry and hard from being overcooked. Im not sure how someone messes up basic grilled chicken, but they succeeded in that. I had to throw it out. -The meatball sub didnt even have a sprinkle of parmesan cheese on it. The bread was STIFF and burnt. No sauce. And they were very greedy with the portion by cutting the meatballs in half to fill the sub. So you get 1 and a half meatball on each 6 inch. Made me wish I would have gone to Subway! -And last, the meat Stromboli. It was the ONLY decent thing. The bread was soft enough, and the inside had a mild taste of what I might call "flavor". I will never order from Tandoor again.

Service was very good, I had never had Indian food before and the person that was serving us was very helpful and made my decision very easy. My friend and I order the gyro and the butter chicken respectively and everything was delicious. Its been over a month and I still dream with that butter chicken. I order it in another restaurant in Miami and not even close in quality and amount. I was more than pleased with everything and I definitely will go back in a heartbeat and of course I would get the butter chicken with the delicious Nan bread.
