I had High Hopes but the plating was disgusting. There was a white substance on the lettuce that was underneath the samosa. The lettuce alone underneath is bad, as it wilts under the heat of the Samosa. But then theres the white substance didnt come from the Samosa. Deeply disturbing. I also notice the waiter switched out my water glass two times because there was something at the bottom of it and it was dirty. After seeing that I specifically ordered a bottled beverage. He poured it into the glass without asking me. At that point I would have felt safer just drinking out of the bottle. ... I feel bad leaving this review, but out of concern for other consumers I had to. I will say that all of the front of the house staff was excellent polite knowledgeable. It looks as if other people have had good experiences here. Perhaps this was a unique occurrence. I will not be back but I wish you the best.

Five stars for the buffet price. $11 for all you can eat (doesnt include soft drinks) The breakdown Quality - 4.5 Warmth (of food) - 3.5 Service/attendance - 4.5 Price - 5!!! Overall - 4.5 (rounding up) Cannot beat this price. Best overall quality-to-price ratio for Indian food in South Florida. Great classics like Naan, tandoori chicken and chicken marsala. Curry chicken was ok, sauce could use more taste. Love the green beans and other options. Some of the sauces are a little runny. Not always hot enough, typical issues for buffet food. Rice pudding was very runny, but not bad. The "donut holes" were DELISH! Not the best Indian buffet Ive had, but the best deal around South Florida.

Excellent!!! I have never had such a great Indian Buffet in last 19 years. Even during weekdays, they maintained the same taste which normally Indian restaurants dont do....$9.99 price is unbelievable for that food quality. Service is great. Location and Parking space is also awesome. Lot of variety in Lunch buffet for both vegetarian and non-vegetarian people..I never had great experience with Indian restaurants in Florida. But, this one is totally above all others. I would visit this restaurant again and cater food also. I would recommend this restaurant to others also!!!

I know this place has a lot of good reviews, but honestly, aside from the staff being UBER nice, my husband and I were deeply disappointed. I was so excited to try this place and my heart sank when I walked up to the "buffet". It barely had anything to choose from, and most of the dishes were not even sub-labeled in English so that you knew what they were. The Naan was so dry, that it broke up like a cracker when I picked it up. I had the Chicken Tikki Masala and Tabdoori Chicken which were good, but thats all. First and last time. Back to Indian Chillies!

Frequented by Indians, you can tell that its a well-received restaurant. However, I find the price hard to justify. I paid $40 for a somewhat small-medium portion of two entrees and two naan orders. Id rate the food as 4 out of 5 -- it was good. It wasnt mindblowing but it was good. I was a bit let down after reading comments here about how fantastic the taste is -- perhaps we can owe that to their inconsistency. However, paying $20 per dish is difficult to stomach. Would I return? Probably not. There are more affordable alternatives out there.

Horrific service. We were a party of 4. One meal came out 15 mins before everyone elses. We had to ask 3-4 times before they brought something (i.e. Drinks, yogurt). The food is over spiced even if you ask for mild. In the end I complained to the mgr privately as to not take away from the experience of the other people I was with. I said "please do not say anything in front of my party when we leave". So what does he do as we leave in front of everyone? He says "so sorry you were unhappy". We will not be returning & Do not recommend.

Inconsistency in quality makes me mad about this place otherwise when they make a quality food, none can match them. Still they are far better when compared with other Indian restaurants where lunch buffet is available. But I can suggest this place based on their ambiance, great treatment by owner and staff. Quality is one thing they are not consistent about. But their quality is not worst though, i can give 3 rating for food on ordinary days.. On special days, I can give 4.5 ratings.. Thanks for the food and service!!

Hands down the best biryani spot(way better than Paradise biryani pointe and other places that claim to serve authentic biryani) in South Florida. This comes from a hyderabadi who is very picky about his meat, rice and spices. A big thumbs up for that. Also tried their weekend lunch buffet which was mediocre. Hope they step up their game in the buffet section. Hope they continue to maintain if not improve their standards. Looking forward to splurge on the extensive Mughlai menu.

Great place. Best Indian buffet in South FL. Great service. You dont have to ask the waiters for anything, they bring you everything like the refills without you having to ask, which, for me, makes it the best in service as well. They should work on the buffet section though. For the buffet it gets crowded and becomes hard to walk around and get the food. So if they expand the area of it a little more, it will be much better for the people. Overall, 10 on 10.

We ordered take-out, medium spicy. The spice level was perfect. The food arrived hot. We had samosas which were delicious; saag paneer which was tastier than i have ever had before; tandoori shrimp which was cooked with some sauce but then also came with a mild spicy sauce on the side. Even the plain basmati rice was fragrant and had a nice flavor. I have a lot of Indian food - this may be the best!

Something has changed here and the change is drastic. I had been to this restaurant few months back when it was new and the best taste ever. I even told them not to change the taste. I went this weekend and saw a huge change from its original fresh taste to nasty taste. I think they added soda or some thing so it feels full. One round and I was feeling full. So dissapointed with quality.

I went to this place once while i was in fort Lauderdale. The only reason, i decided to go was because they served south indian food. I was not sure about the quality but, it was more than my expectations. Ordered Dosa and it was yummy. After my gf insisted on chilli chicken biryani, we orderd it and i loved it. If i ever come back to fort Lauderdale, i would like to vist this place.

Only been here for lunch. At one point had it two days in a row. The buffet is always stocked up. Their veggies and fruit selection is always fresh. They have a variety for rices and main dishes for the buffet. Its a great quick place for lunch with awesome food and service! A lot of my Indian co-workers and friends often come here and say its a great place to eat.

Great food. Weve been to a lot of Indian restaunts in broward county, yet this one is the one, our favorite of all. We had their buffet lunch and a la carte dinner. Our six years old son is fun of chicken Korma and naan. We love their masala dosa, always delicious. 5th element offers a lot of traditional dishes, as well great vegetarian options. Highly recommended.
