Let me start of by saying that my fiancé works for Yelp. We went in a secret shoppers, testing the service. We automatically noticed the friendly and very warming invite as our greeter welcomed us and brought us his to our table. At that point we were seated, a on the house appetizer and drinks were served at that point. There was a very friendly young lady who is our server she gave us the menu and placed our order. We ordered two different kinds of chicken, my fiance wanted to set it up and requested that one of them would be changed due to overwhelming flavor. At this point the friendly server grabbed the plate and brought out a new chicken that my fiance was comfortable with . It only took about 3 minutes. So we notated how amazing the customer service was. We only got charged for one plate for the incovience. The house was on the house, unlimited refills for rice. The atmosphere is amazing, and the manager was an awesome guy. Somehow they detected we were with yelp. But that does not explain the amazing customer service. And authentic flavor. If you are looking for a romantic dinner and amazing flavor I would recommend this place hands down! I give it 5 stars. Excellent flavor and customer service. The coconut rice is amazing here! Thank you staff at Mint Leaf keep up the good work. And for those who are reading the negative reviews dont believe them because this place is the real deal!!!

I worked at this place a couple of years ago for 1 day only. Worked 13 hours with no break at all to even drink water. It was a very busy day. People will leave really good tips of $50 to over $100 in every table i was serving. It was non stop. At the end of the night we were done around 12am and the owners didnt give us not even a dollar from the tips because the tips belong to them, they dont share the tips with us when we were the ones busting our butts in that place the whole day. The next day i called and said I was not going anymore because it was too much for the amount of money they were offering and no tips and when i asked what day I can go to get my paycheck for that only day I worked, he said to me that it was a tryout with no pay so he didnt even pay me for working 13 hours and not able to even have a break and eat at least something from there. Very abusive people so please, if you go there to eat, make sure you tip your server without the owners seeing you because is not fair that theyre not even moving a finger and they keep all the tips for themselves.

I had been here once before and was not thoroughly impressed, but decided to give it another try and treat my office employees to lunch as I was craving Indian cuisine. Aside from being the only Indian restaurant to charge for rice, the service was despicable. Perhaps because our waitress knew we were a party of 6 and would be subject to the mandatory service charge, she was horrible. The restaurant was completely empty, yet it took 45 minutes for a person in our party to receive his soda (my plate had already been retired from the table when his Coke finally appeared). I dont mind paying the price for good food if it is worth it. For the small portions, horrible waitress, and $200 price tag for 6 people to have lunch I would highly recommend to stay away. Do yourself a favor and go to Mortons; or anywhere else for that matter.

I work up the street and decided to try it about two months ago and have not been able to stay away since. Everything Ive tried off the menu has blown me away, both in terms of flavor, quality and presentation. Restaurants in Miami tend to be mediocre at best in terms of quality and price, but not Mint Leaf. Its not the cheapest Indian food around, but you certainly get a good value for your money. The freshly made Naan bread is the best Ive had. The lamb stew and coconut rice are also delicious. When Im in a hurry I like to order the vegetarian box lunch for takeout, which comes with eight little containers, each filled with a different Indian delicacy. My husband and I went there for our Valentines Day dinner and he loved it too!

First Time when it was one month after opening, we had very Bad experience, we paid cold food, bad service, only good thing was King Fisher Beer and the Restaurant decor and furniture. !!?? We tried second time, service very poor, quality Poor, wilted salad, Cold curries , not properly maintained Temprature. Price and value Very Poor. Portions too small for the price, this is not gourmet. Best part of the Restaurant: Ambiance is GOOD, which was there before these guys Got in , There was an Italian Restaurant, A french Restaurant, and an Indian Restaurant, Interior Dining area is plesant and appears Clean. Saw the cooking as I passed the Kitchen to use the rest Room. Average, Needs Improvement

I went for lunch, and to see for myself what the negative reviews were about. I couldnt believe that a place would be that bad - and guess what - I was right. Clean inside, the staff were friendly, and they had linen service even for lunch. I had a Thali (shrimp) and my bread (chapati) was done right - slightly crispy and yet soft. The curries were laid out well, were really fresh and yet simple and not too heavy. I ate everything on my plate. I have to say that it is expensive for dinner.. but lunch was was priced reasonably ($17) for the meal. Give it a try. Miami is coming into its own, it looks like... yes!

My wife and I were looking for options in the area for Indian food, and we found a right place to start. The food was excellent, portions reasonably served, and presentation was adequate and tempting to try right away. Waiters were also attentive and prompt to help us with the menu. Attention and timing with orders was reasonable. I would recommend the owners to light up a little bit the lamps, and that is all. The small environment and decoration complement each other well the cozy and relaxing ambiance. I would definitely recommend the restaurant, and I would return again for more Indian food.

Authentic Indian food in a beautiful, though small, restaurant. And I mean really small. Not the best place for a group larger than four, but its really nice for a date. The waiter was really nice and explained the menu without making us feel like idiots (I knew nothing of Indian cuisine my first visit). My only complaint is that the "medium" spicey level is not what wed normally call "medium." Its much, much hotter. And this is coming from a girl who loves her spicy food. Needless to say, I drank two mango lassies to cool down. However, it WAS tasty.

I love this place!!!! The best freshest Nan bread Ive ever had, chicken curry had spice but not hot, reminded me of Cuban style chicken fricase. The lentil soup mouth watering oh and the dessert, was like arroz con leche made with evaporated milk, outrageous! The service amazing. Didnt even realize it was there, this gem is hidden next to Dry Cleaner, look for it, you wont be sorry... manager is very friendly, definitely coming back. My new Gables fav
