HALF STAR is my best rating. I ordered the Deluxe Suhi dinner $25. I was charged extra for the soup or salad because I wanted both. The soup served luke warm and tasteless. Salad was iceberg lettuce with two adornments. The ginger dressing was tasteless and dumped off center so it totally didnt work. I was starving so I ate it all. The sushi (served with apologies) came out an hour later. Im not drinking alcohol, my empty Arnold Palmer was taken away and not returned for 45 minutes. Sushi arrived on a miniboat. The eel was tasteless, the others were very standard with smaller slices of fish. I saved the octopus for last. It was a horrible, chewy, fishy, nasty, rubber complement to the rest of the meal. There are so many choices for sushi do yourself a favor and make another choice. "Fusion" ??? So bad... Ill put up the bugs at the Japanese Steak House north of Monteray on Rt 1.

This used to be my goto place for sushi... last meal was last one. My wife called in an order for pick up. (Jamie if anyone at Sushi Yama Siam cares). We had quite an expensive take out order of shrimp tempura appetizer, edemame, various sushi and a dancing eel roll. 100% of Unagi eel was old and dried out. Not fresh and certainly no sweet sauce. Awful and inedible. They intentionally gave us the old dried out eel pieces knowing we would not drive back. You can bet we will never drive back. Congratulations, you got away with screwing a customer. Now I will be your worse advertisenent.

We consider ourselves experienced sushi consumers. Weve traveled extensively and tried many different establishments, and at the end of the day we always end up craving Sushi Yama. They have set the bar extremely high, and few places can compare. We are always so impressed with their meticulousness and consistency. The restaurant is pristine and the staff is very friendly. The food is delicious and the ingredients could only be fresher if they caught the fish right in front of you. Been frequent customers for several years and have no intentions of stopping!

Great Japanese & Thai fusion sushi place! Im usually not a fan of fusion restaurants because they tend to not get either cuisine right, but the food here is excellent! I consider myself somewhat of a foodie, having eaten sushi all over the world, including Japan. This place can compete with the best of them in terms of the quality of food. Great and friendly service too. I have been here 5 times already and the place never disappointed. One of my favorite restaurants to eat at. Beware dont order too much because the portions are big!

Have been here multiple times and this is my go to joint for sushi... It may not look like much but, I stopped in for lunch today by myself took a seat at the bar the gentleman making the rolls was very friendly, even made me a fish salad on the house (wahoo, white tuna, and yellowfin in a sweet ginger/teriyaki/soy sauce delicious was not hesitant to make friendly conversation, thats the kind of stuff that makes these smaller joints all that much better will definitely be back again!

Ordered the pad knee mow to go extra spicy with a salad and ginger dressing. Ive got the smallest order of any thai place Ive ever been to, nothing but pepper paste For seasoning on the noodles, a few little pieces of pepper and didnt see any onion. And of course the salad came with peanut dressing not Ginger. I could understand if they were very busy but there was nobody in the restaurant when I got there. Will never go back! Wouldve put zero stars but it wont let me .

I would not go back. Ive had way better sushi. Ill try somewhere else next time Im in town. I ordered the Sunrise Roll and it was so huge I could barely fit it in my mouth. The Spicy Crab Roll was not spicy at all. The miso soup was very weird tasting and very salty. Everything was just lacking flavor overall. Service was speedy and friendly.

This place used to be amazing. The service used to be spectacular and fast. After todays visit the table across from us stayed dirty filled with plates and glasses. The table seated after us was forgotten about and never given menus. The server was extremely slow. And we waited what seemed like forever for our 3 sushi rolls to come to the table.

Ive tried almost every sushi place in PSL & Martin County and I have yet to find a place so satisfying as Sushi Yama. It is 25 minutes away but always worth the drive. The sushi is fresh, decadent, and not overpriced like most places. My favorite roll is the American Dream. I order summer rolls for an appetizer. Mmmmmm delicious!

Oh my goodness. The best. Ive been to Japan. This is the real deal. Authentic. Great menu. We will be back. Great place. Wife loved the red curry dish. Its tucked away, so not a place youd happen into. Across the street from Key West Diner. if you love sushi and/or Thai - you got to get in there and try it. Sincerely

By far the highest quality sushi in the PSL/Stuart area. Other places dont offer the same level of quality or try to over charge. This place (by inflated Florida standards) is reasonably priced and the sushi tastes great. I would highly recommend a visit. Try the 39. Sunomono

Ask for a "sushi bomb". Usually, only the chef knows what they are. Its fish roe soaked in wasabe. Hang on to your head when you bite into it. Really fun in a group. Everyone bites into theirs at the same time. Then watch to see who tears up first. Then, order another round.

We have tried a few sushi restaurants in the treasure coast area, and this one is our favorite. They have a wide variety of sushi rolls, and everything weve tried has been delicious. They also have very polite wait staff. I would highly recommend.

The Red Curry(ordered Thai 5 Hot) is hot and delicious. The Pad Thai is great and Stir Fried Cashews melt in you mouth. The Connie Sue (Cumber salad) is very refreshing. Great food and the best service.

The menu is large, yet easily broken down by category, and with the excellent execution of the staff its doubtless that you will find something not just to enjoy. But to love as well.

Best sushi in Florida. I wont let my boyfriend come down here without taking me to get sushi here. Order anything and youll be happy. But the Tuna and eel are my favorites.

Fantastic non-fish sushi! I had a fried mixed vegetable roll, a chicken katsu roll, and a few individual pieces with avocado and asparagus. All were perfect!

Great food. Awful service. Waited over 40 mins just to get out food. They forgot one thing we ordered and it took us nearly 20 more minutes for the check...
