The service was deadly slow tonight. The waitress didnt ask if we wanted to sit in the cute little rooms with the privacy doors where we wanted to sit so instead we were seated in front of tvs showing Bones with gross dead bodies while we tried to eat. My daughter usually gets her rice at the same time as the soup but it was brought with the meal so she was very unhappy. Most of the sushi rolls were bland. We only liked one, the golden jb roll. We wanted to order another golden jb roll but the waitress waited so long to check on us we were afraid wed be there at least another hour waiting on it so we decided not to order it. I had a miserable time and couldnt wait to leave. My kids usually love this place but even they were all unhappy with it tonight. I havent been that big a fan since a different waitress got peevish that we didnt ask for separate checks when we first walked in the door. And my tempura on the last visit was not good at all. I like the sushi much better down the street at the mall for less than half the price here. I dont know that I would go back next time my kids want to go...if they even want to return.

I have no idea why theres ANY bad review on this restaurant. This is easily top 5 in the best sushi food ive ever had. I guess some people dont understand sushi or something. Take my advise. They have a large menu. Get something from "Sakura Sushi" menu. U cant go wrong with anything there. I have tried: 1-Mango Tango 2-Dirty Old man 3-Gator Roll 4-Birthday Roll 5-Muchacha Bonita 6-Japanese Crab Sandwich All Awesome And some others. I probably dont recommend getting a "Sakura Boat" unless ur are truly Japanese because is mostly raw sushi. Im not saying is bad. Not at all. Im just comparing it to the "Sakura Sushi" submenu. Take my advice ive been to many sushi places. These guys are awesome. Thank me later

The sushi here is OK. Not the best I have had, but the prices are good and quantities generous. I find that Su-shin and Marumi tend to have better balanced rolls, although Su-shin is quite expensive and Marumi is more traditional. One suggestion I have is to put less rice in the rolls and make them smaller so they can fit in the mouth. Otherwise, if they are too big, you have to bite into them and you lose the blending flavors of all the ingredients. Also, some of the rolls have too much tempura piled on top. Try to make them more delicate.

Okay so the only reason it gets 3 stars is because it was good sushi... BUT my roll was not tight and for the price I expected a whole sushi not a half 5 piece. I ordered one roll and a tuna tataki. The tuna tataki was a nice portion so no complaints there but since I ordered it and only saw it after Im really disappointed. I doubt Ill be ordering from here again unless I want to unnecessarily spend $50 on just getting myself food. So yes its reasonably priced but thats IF they gave you a regular portion of sushi....

Ive been coming here for years and its consistently delicious! Turned my husband and mom on to it and we love sitting in the private booths to enjoy the best sushi in town. Never had a bad roll, sashimi, or appetizer. Dont know what these low reviews are all about but Ive tried MANY sushi restaurants around here and this one is the best, hands down. Keep doing what you all do, the locals truly appreciate you!

One of the top two sushi restaurants in Coral Springs. The owners Ming and Tina are some of the most friendly and professional folks you will ever meet. The restaurant is very clean and the sushi is fresh. Ive also watched them clean up the sushi bar at night and they make it spotless like it should be. Im a big fan of this place so stop by and tell them Dan I Cook sent you. Stay Hungry!

I strongly disagree with the "not so good" review. This is one of the best sushi restaurants around! Excellent good, good service and owner is usually always around is very nice. They have private booths which are nice if you do not want see anyone eating around you and the menu has many options and items other sushi restaurants do not offer. I recommend this place!

Quality food but no authentic Japanese. This place serves good quality food but just mimicking other fake Japanese restaurant around south Florida. It may satisfy folks only to enjoy American fusion sushi like funky rolls and such. Price is on a high side. If you are looking for an authentic Japanese food, stay away and try Matsuri in Miami.

Ive been coming here since I was about seven, Im 24 now. I will not go anywhere else for sushi. Ive moved out of Coral Springs and still go out of my way to go there whenever I can. Ming makes some of the best appetizers and rolls Ive ever had. Everyone Ive ever taken there loves it and always goes back. The booths are fun too!

Food is delicious! We had the Superbowl, muchacha bonita and chicken teriyaki dinner..... All delicious. I was pleasantly surprised that the service was great. Usually we come across Sushi restaurants with poor customer service, language barrier issues and poor people skills but everyone was great. Definitely going again.

the fish they use is grade A, their rooms are great for intimate dates or doing sake bombs with your friends with no judgement :), their rolls are unique, delicious, and always innovative. its just great sushi. my favorite is the "super bowl roll" if you love tuna! go here if youre in the coral springs area

A decent amount of the dishes are not of Japanese origin, and the staff is not actually Japanese. However, the quality of the food is great, and the staff is very friendly. A little bit pricey, but not a deal breaker. Also, the portions are really satisfying. Definitely recommend.

Was looking for a place to have sushi while down visiting with my 90 yr old mother. Found this place on a Google search. The Vegetable Miso soup was superb as well as the Dirty Old Man Roll! The Tuna Lovers roll was good....not great, but good. Would definitely return.

Planned on going to Chilis but it was way too crowded. Decided to give this place a try and wow it was fantastic. Excellent quality sushi at a very reasonable price. Would definitely recommend this restaurant and look forward to going back to eat there often!!

Great local sushi without having to drive to downtown FTL... My husband and I LOVE that they have several rolls with the dynamite on top and not just on a california roll. And the dynamite never has too much mayo. They also have a good lunch menu.

The best sushi in Coral Springs. Period. Decent prices and everything is always fresh. Staff are beyond wonderful. Ive been going here since I was a kid (15+years). The private booths offer a unique experience. Great for date nights!

So the service is okay people are friendly but food wise... STAY AWAY FROM ANYTHING RAW. The sushi is not fresh, the food is greasy, theres not a lot of options. I mean u get for what you pay.. I wouldnt recommend this place at all.
