Cute place but worst experience EVER!!! Place is a joke. Order taken by server. Didnt see him after order. 40 min later we were still looking for our sushi appetizer. We hadnt even seen waiter and place was really small. Drinks had been empty for 30 minutes. When we flagged someone down and asked about our waiter we were told hes out on delivery. We asked if we could drinks or if our food was turned in??? Waitress said she didnt know and they were behind because our waiter was out in delivery. We asked for check to leave and go elsewhere. Waitress got upset and said she didnt have our check and couldnt help. You could tell she was frustrated with lack of mgmt. seriously there was no one to give us our check. She said to leave and she would take care of it. Looked like could have had potential but poorly run and no manager in sight.

Have generally liked this place in the past, never overly friendly but acceptable and decent food. Last visit we ordered take out and were simply treated rude, got there to pick it up, waited another 20 minutes and again asked about and she said "you wait" then yelled something in a language I didnt understand. After probably a total of 30-40 minutes after arriving the food was handed to us, no apology. We got home with the food (mile and a half) and mediocre is the best thing to say about it. Pad thai was cold and lifeless with no flavor, no napkins, no utensils, no soy or fortune cookies were included. They charge way too much for way so little. We are done, not going back. To be treated rudely on top of it. No thanks.

We come to St. Pete regularly and have eaten here many times. Like any restaurant, some entrees are better than others. This time we ordered the Hot and Sour soup - very disappointing as it was neither. Too gelatinous and sweet without any really depth of flavor. Same with the Spicy Basil Curry. We ordered "hot" and it was barely that, and there was way too much sugar used in the sauce. Shrimp Panang Curry was better. I find this place "ok" - their service is great and we get takeout from here because its very closeby, but the food is just average. They need to reduce the sugar and amp the spices, IMHO.

The people were very friendly and the atmosphere is cool. My date and I got non-sushi items and werent overly impressed, the food did take a while to come out. The price was a little high, but overall not great not bad. Will probably go back just not very often. It is rather small so if you dont like sitting close to others you might not like it, but it did go with the atmosphere. The sushi looked good and that is what I will likely try if we go back. Advise: might want to call and see if they are in a wait, because the restaurant is small and you have to wait outside of its packed.

Every single time I go to my favorite Thai place, Nori Thai, I try something new. Every single time, I dont think it can get any better...until I had the crispy duck. OMG! OMG! Ive never spazed out over a dish...until this. EVERYTHING is wonderful. I honestly havent found a "dud" on the menu. How do they do it? In part, I can see fresh herbs and vegetables growing on the side of their building. Cant get any fresher. I started eating Thai food in the wonderfully food friendly Chicago, and Id rate the more casual, quaint, Nori Thai as good or better as any place in "The Windy City."

Yes! loved This place! My husband and I had sushi here. Really good. I highly recommend it. We are looking forward to coming back for some of the other food. It all looked great. *** Update: went back and tried some other dishes. All very good. Had a rainbow roll and spider roll (delicious.) Then we tried the golden chicken (I believe), lightly fried beautiful chicken breast with a sweet sauce accompanied by pineapple and cashews. My husband had a spicy noodle dish that was great as well. Try it, you will like this place.

We have eaten at Nori Thai Several times during our lunch break at work. We are almost always satisfied with our food. Today during lunch we found a piece of metal IN our food. We are aware that mistakes happen but we called to bring this to their attention and the "Manager" was super rude asking us what we wanted her to do about it ? We spent $75 on lunch today, once the manager found our ticket she said she would refund the $8.00 and then hung up. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE !!!!!

We have been eating here for years and have never had anything other than a wonderful experience! Awesome food , great selection , very clean , and super friendly service ! Joy and Matthew as well as the rest of the staff always make us feel at home. We have probably tried just about everything on the menu and enjoyed it all but the sushi is our favorite! If you like Asian food you have to try this place !

We waited way too long for our dinner with the place half empty, finally the waitress said it was coming soon but another half hour went by while everyone ignored us so we walked out. Thats a first in 30 years of dining out Kitchen and wait staff understaffed, bad management, food going by looked good but if you cant get any its just torture and we dont go out to be tortured.

Great meal in a nice little restaurant. Service was excellent. The portions are generous. We started with chicken satay which was 4 1/2 chicken breasts lightly browned. The main course was crispy chicken which is a huge meal for 1 person and Jungle Curry which was delicious. This is now my second favorite Thai place (Lotus of Siam in Las Vegas is my favorite.)

Nori Thai is a very solid Thai / Sushi destination. Although not the best of either cuisine, everything I have had there is solid. A few of our favorites are the Thai-tanic soup, pad thai (obvious choice I know but theirs is very good), St. Pete Beach roll, and the crispy duck. The owners and the staff are very nice, and take great care of their customers.

I love this place! I am from Minnesota and have now found a place that I can come back to in the future. The tom kha kai soup was good. The nori spicy tuna roll, crunchy tuna roll, spring rolls, and the pad see ew were delicious! They have a variety of Asian food including Thai and Japanese food. I would highly recommend if you are in this area.

My wife and I love this place! Authentic (and delicious) Thai food at reasonable prices. The appetizer, "Tiger Cry" (aka Tiger Tear) is awesome. The Tom Yung Kung soup is a perfect balance of hot and sour. The green curry dishes are also outstanding. My wife loves the pad woon sen with tofu. The service is always top notch and friendly.

We go there almost once a week. The waitresss are all great and very friendly. We order the same thing every time. They know what we want and bring it to the table without having to order. The pepper steak is delicious and the cashew chicken is always good. Everyone the went with us like the food and atmosphere. try it you will like it.
