A COMPLETE NIGHTMARE!!!! My husband and I stopped in over the weekend for dinner and this was BY FAR the worst experience Ive ever had at a restaurant in my life. I ordered the chicken teriyaki which came with soup, salad and rice for $15.95. WAY overpriced. Not only was the sauce horrible but the "chicken" was like rubber and in no way did it taste like chicken nor did it have the consistency of chicken, which leaves one to wonder. I could not even swallow one bite, it came right back out of my mouth. When I told my server I did not like it and wanted to choose something else, she left the table and the owner came by to ask me why I didnt like her teriyaki and that everyone else does and that I would only receive a discount off my nearly $16 meal that was not even edible. After asking her for a menu so I could choose something else, I began telling her my choice and she simply walked away from me as I was talking to her. She then went to the kitchen area which can be viewed from the dining area, and was talking about us to the other workers pointing us out and laughing. She was obviously very offended that I did not like her dish. She came back to my table another three times asking repeatedly that I did not like her chicken teriyaki and also let it be known that everybody loves her chicken teriyaki. When going to the register to pay her husband, she asked again that I didnt like her teriyaki and told me that I must like my chicken dry. She must have asked me at least 20 times "you dont like my chicken teriyaki? everyone loves my chicken teriyaki". And thats not exaggerating. My husband was nearly in tears laughing after we left because he couldnt believe how much we were harassed about not liking a dish. He ordered two different kinds of sushi which he said were ok but overpriced and they would not stay together at all. The only good thing we experienced at this restaurant was our server, who was a young lady who was very nice and attentive. Shes definitely working at the wrong restaurant. I recommend that you do not go to this restaurant.

The only reason I went here was because of the fantastic ratings it had on google. I honestly think that the people that wrote the nice reviews have never actually had good sushi. If they had, theres no way any of them would be eating there. Not only did everything taste like garbage, but the rolls wouldnt even stay together. The fish was tasteless and hardly seemed fresh. Dont get me wrong, its edible, but completely unenjoyable, If this place were cheaper I wouldnt be all that upset, just disappointed. My boyfriend and I, however, spent about 30 bucks on two orders of sushi and a vegetable tempura appetizer (which came after our sushi by the way.. kind of defeats the purpose of ordering an appetizer). The vegetable tempura consisted of grossly battered whole vegetables. It was impossible to try to eat them because they were enormous. Even if they were bite size though, you still wouldnt want to eat that. Go to any other sushi bar because anywhere is better than this place.

I came here because it looked like good food and the reviews seemed well-to-do. I walked in and this pungent smell of seaweed hit me like a ton of bricks. I wanted actual Japanese food, not whatever version of it this place sells. I ordered the seafood soup thinking this place specializes in seafood; Im now wondering when the stomach gurgles will start. I also got Takoyaki which was way too breaded and not enough octopus. My companion (who got their food ten minutes before me) got the vegetable stir-fry, which was bland and off-putting. I love seafood and sushi, but I will never go back to this place again. Way to pricy for bad food.

So this place is amazing! My best friend is an avid sushi eater, I on the other hand hate sushi! So normally when we go to places like this I dont eat much. Not this place! Their menu is AMAZING! I have been told the sushi is wonderful, but if you are not a sushi person this place is still a great find! I get Yaki Soba and I am always 100% satisfied! Service is really good here, and the restaurant is always clean! Definitely worth going to!

My fiance and I gave this place a try and were very happy with the quality of the food and the freshness of the fish, however, it was pretty tacky inside(fake plants attracting dust, duct taped seats, etc.) and they had country music playing... I dont dislike country music but its definitely not what we want to hear at a sushi place. That was a big turn off.

I found the place to be very authentic, clean and fresh. The guy making the Sushi has been doing this for most of his life and has taught other chefs. Im not sure what these negative reviews are all about, but the sushi I had was amazing and we purchased several types. We only ate sushi so I cannot speak for other dishes. Sushi was delicious and fresh.

The atmosphere was alright. They seem to have a decent roll selection, but the fish selection leaves a bit to be desired. Havent seen mahimahi on a menu before so I tried that. It was good. Tuna tataki was horrible though...its drenched in a spicy sauce, not seared, & looks cheap. See my photo. Not really feeling like giving it a second shot.

Great service, great food, excellent people. They remember my specific order, are always friendly and polite and very quick to get you your order. I have never been dissatisfied and they have gone above and beyond for me. I could not respect or recommend I restaraunt more highly.

Tokyo Sushi is a cozy restaurant serving the best spicy tuna roll around. Most places use chopped tuna (i.e. bad cuts of tuna), Tokyo Sushi uses big chunks of fresh tuna topped with spicy sauce. This roll will keep me coming back. The other sushi is excellent, as well.

My family and i have been coming here for at least ten years. Best sushi in town. Okay prices with larger than normal portions. The staff is friendly and remember you if you frequent their restaurant. Never had a problem, always happy when i leave!

Close to Busch Gardens. We were dressed casually but still received kind and attentive service. Sushi tasted great, and the prices seem standard compared to other restaurants I have visited. 2nd time here wont be our last :)
